The food was awful!!

The food was awful!!! Paid for a two course meal. Well the chicken was edible but that was it. The second course an awful tasting cupcake. Not really what you expect for a two course meal. Nine of us went and not one of us ate the rice or the cupcake! The rice tasted of Benson and Hedges cigarettes!! Smelt like bad tobacco too. Drinks were £35 for two. We decided to buy a bottle of Prosecco each at £48 per bottle. Music and atmosphere was good but come 10.15 it ended?? What on earth. I have no idea how you mess up such a good vibe and venue. Would not recommend !!

Sadly disappointed

The venue was changed after we booked our hotel, timings were changed but hidden in an email close to the event date and not highlighted. Customer service very poor. 194 Piccadilly is a nice venue but the drinks prices are extortionate - £33 for 2 drinks! Our drinks were taken from our tables whilst we were dancing, food was cold , unappetising and we only received 12 of the 13 meals we paid for! The waitress told us she had been told 12 meals for us in the kitchen - clearly you could see there was 13 of us. The band and disco were great however and we loved the tunes. To be honest they should stick to doing music only and stop charging a lot of money for very little. Very disappointed.

Don’t Waste Your Money

Attended Soul Supper on 15th August at 194 Piccadilly London. The venue was lovely well laid out. Doors to venue didn’t open until 7pm although in some correspondence it did say 6.30? We sat in a comfortable reception lounge enjoying a complimentary glass of Prosecco and eventually at around 7.20 was asked to go downstairs where entertainment was taking place and our dinner awaited. The dinner was awful, just looked so unappetising on the plate and wasn’t nice to eat - chicken rice with a weird coleslaw. Dessert was a cup cake.
We enjoyed the band and DJ but overall thought the night was a bit of a take on. Drinks were expensive and although we was told the event would finish at 10.30 by 10.15 was being ushered out the door. Overall a costly night for very little. Disappointing Would not recommend Soul Supper.

Awful singers and terrible dry chicken waste of money

Was totally shocked the venue was in electric ballroom which is a state. The singers were diabolical Dj was good. Food a tiny bit of dry chicken on cold Dan of mash. A blob of ice cream and a tiny bit of dry cake what on earth after all the so called good reviews and book months in advance. So disappointing actually worst night out

The entertainment and the atmosphere…

The entertainment and the atmosphere was really good. The service was terrible. There were not enough bar staff and the wait for a drink was 45 mins. Everyone around us was served their food. It was hard to find someone to ask about where our food was. I asked two different people and one person twice. I was told the food was coming but I had to go again and ask as it did not appear. Eventually it did and was very nice. But I missed some of the entertainment as I was walking around to find someone to help. Then on the ticket we were told the event ends at 6.45. However it all finished at 5.45 and we were hurried out by the venue as they had another event. It was disappointing.

Delivery fee 3x, food late, customer service doesn’t answer for days

Something really bad has happened to Supper.
I’ve used the service for years and it’s been mostly great, with responsive customer service.

Last week I ordered from one of my usual places. I noticed later that the delivery fee has increased more than threefold.

My food arrived more than an hour late and cold. The driver said he had another delivery, very far from my address. They used to deliver straight to you and definitely without taking detours.

Supper’s chat service cut me off, the phone lines were also off. I sent two emails to their customer service and got no response.

So to summarize: prices have been raised by a factor of three, the service is a lot worse than before and customer service doesn’t exist anymore.

Clearly supper.london is dying.

Simply Amazing

Less choice than some other companies, but every cuisine type is there and the food is simply stellar! It arrived so hot that the lovely rider had to warn me that the food was hot- when was the last time that happed with a food delivery in January in London?? HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Excellent executive service for large corporation

Excellent service from this company. I am a personal assistant to the CEO of a large corporation and this company is fantastic for providing top class catering to board meetings and other executive events. Large selection of top restaurants and quality of service and delivery is unmatched.

Don’t waste your money

I’ve used Supper a number of times - always lured by their top quality restaurant offerings…only to be disappointed EACH TIME for their horrible service. Food never arrives on time (most recently over 1.5 hour late), drivers never seem to find my address, customer service on the phone is at best a hit or miss. You pay £15 between service fee and delivery fee so you would expect top quality service but in fact it is complete garbage - you’re better off using Deliveroo. Their tracking on the app also never seems to work. On multiple occasions I’ve had orders of £190+ that have arrived spilled, crushed or just stone cold. It really tarnishes the names of the restaurants they cater for and by association makes you not want to eat at those restaurants. Honestly complete waste of money and will never use them again.

THE BEST FOOD DELIVERY (by far) in London!!

The quality of food, both on offer and at delivery, is second to none. I'm never going back to the Deliveroos and Ubers of the world. The only shame is that Supper only delivers in London, but the food comes hot when it's supposed to (they have an OVEN on the back of their bikes) and the delivery drivers are so friendly!!

Also not for nothing they use electric bikes, which means so much to me coming from an environmental background.

AMAZING option for dinner parties

I ordered a large selection of hot and cold dishes for a dinner party and it went down a treat!! The order came exactly as it should, and as I would expect it at my favourite restaurant. The rider was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the selection of restaurants is second to none in terms of quality. I have never been compelled to write a review before for any service, but I simply MUST give this company all the credit I possibly could.

Shocking service - order elsewhere

Shocking. Waited 2 hours for an expensive order. Nothing arrived. I called and they said 10 minutes previously they had decided not to deliver it - although no one had called. The then said they would call back after speaking to the restaurant but they did not. Called again to be told I could have a refund - er, no surprise nothing had been delivered - but no attempt to solve the missing food and just said I could order again with no guaranteed delivery time. Joke of a business - makes Deliveroo look professional.

Useless Customer - considering make official complaint re wrong food and intolerance .

Will not use this company again.
I ordered two pizza and a bottle of wine from Cinquenta Pizza Chelsea on Wednesday evening. Arrived in good time . However after I tasted my pizza (chatting not concentrating) I realised my mouth was burning- my pizza - a Napoli - was something completely different / red snd green chillies. I have an intolerance to chillies - I could not eat this pizza. I rang Supper and customer service man said would speak to restaurant and come back. Today Friday still nothing despite two emails - complete silence. So no dinner, ruined evening and no apology ! My daughter recommends use Deliveroo as at least if order wrong it is dealt with. Very disappointed as not often in London.

Have used Supper twice for very large…

Have used Supper twice for very large orders and both times they have been excellent. The first time I put through two orders which were meant to be for the same day but i put the wrong date - Supper thankfully called me to check I had put the right day and corrected it, second time the restaurant wasn't showing the time slot i needed they called the restaurant and got them to open up early for me - flawless service - cant fault it.

Hopeless

At peak times very few restaurants accept orders that you only find out after ordering and then they are suddenly closing at 7pm on a Saturday night! Other restaurants farm out orders to inferior restaurants you can get free delivery on Deliveroo. Have to order on App and access live chat on app.

I have been ordering from them for about two years now and I can say that they are The best of the best.. not for once have they messed up with any order and food always arrives hot and fresh plus their customer service is amazing .. Well done SUPPER 👑
