Endless tickets and with same canned…

Endless tickets and with same canned resposes. Took 3 weeks to gain access only to find my account drained and empty. No way to gain phone access fir immediate support. Filed a complaint with my state attorney general. I'll never get my money back, I completely understand this but as a public traded company handling billions of dollars on customers behalf, they truly need to be investigated regarding their customer support and inability to get account problems solved and accessed within a reasonable time frame. The company 8s horrendous and I discourage anyone to use them. If you do buy and immediately transfer to a cold wallet because they won't help you and care less if your funds are stolen.

Stay away and be warned your $ are not safe with coinbase.

This a company with no customer service…

This a company with no customer service skilled.
Been a customer for years, and in my most recent purchase out of the blue they put a hold on my bitcoin purchase for a week. Had never happened before, and there was no date stated before purchase.
I couldn’t do that as I had to send bitcoin right away, so I purchased elsewhere and tried to contact Coinbase to cancel my transaction as I wasn’t made aware of the hold. They were impossible to get a hold of then, they had no chat service in June of this year and no direct contact line, you had to email. Needless to say the back and forth took a while and bitcoin never reversed it. Bitcoin depreciated a lot that week, so in return Coinbase sold whatever amount of bitcoin I purchased as my bank denied the charge, and since then they have put a lock on my account to pay the difference of $23. The amount that depreciated while they held the funds. Literally I was stuck losing money, and couldn’t do anything about it.
I’ve tried multiple times working with this company for some amicable resolution. The recent representative even acknowledged that they are aware of the problem and are fixing it, but are not willing to help or make any exceptions.
Their representatives lack compassion, care, and basic customer service skills. It’s downright horrible. I’m deleting the app and will be using Gemini since I’m in New York.
My advice to you is avoid this company period, if your state allows other companies to trade crypto use them. The fair share of problems from missing funds, no customer service, and a worsening experience in the app is not worth it. Coinbase is inflated, tired, and all around a terrible company.

BEWARE... STAY AWAY!!!

If I had it to do all over again I would never and I mean never even consider using coinbase. At this point, however, I am stuck and my account has been frozen. I have been working with customer support for many months with no updates or movement in resolution. They continue to request and ask the same questions over and over. They cannot keep track of their ticket numbers therefore answers that I have given are lost in prior ticket numbers that have been closed. It is the most unorganized customer service center I have ever dealt with. They have no empathy, compassion, and any idea how to treat their customers or even empathize with their situation. You are best to stay away... And I mean far away.

I HOPE THESE PEOPLE GET SOME LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST THEM AND GET WHAT THEY DESERVE !!!

I have just started with crypto and invest in another app. I put 50 pounds and got 200. So I decided to withdraw them. Huge mistake to use Coinbase. Website and app are buggy all the time and not responding, no live chat, very bad customer service support. If you are lucky to reply you it is template, which I believe they send to all disappointed people using them. Once my money went to them, they were added as assets and prices were going down so I started loosing them. I wanted to withdraw as soon as I can...
I tried 4 different debit cards and they were refused. I tried everything but could not get my money out of there. Finally I decided to send what left around 150 to my girlfriend so maybe she can withdrawn them. They sent to money to her but refused to approve her account. So for another day money were gone from my account to hers without her having access to them. I have sent dozen emails but all I got was pre made emails to follow the FAQ's After 2 days my girl finally got her account. At that moment money were 120. I add coinbase wallet and send the money there (at least not to fall down any more before I can find a way to cash out) Tried everything that the app offer and still nothing. After another 12 hours I checked and now the money are gone from my girlfriend's account and I dont know where they are... At the moment we both have 00.00 in our accounts. Every option on the website or app is huge struggle to manage it and it is not working properly.

Incompetent phone support

Nothing against Filipinos as I am a Filipino myself, but damn they outsourced their phone support to some Filipino folks who cant even speak proper English. First rep hung up on me. Second rep had me on the line for more than 30 minutes most of the time on hold. She wasn’t able to resolve my issue and referred me to email support instead. I should have invested my money on another platform. Now I can’t event withdraw my funds. I feel like I’ve been scammed or something.

I’ve been waiting for help since…

I’ve been waiting for help since December of last year. I had to change my phone number due to fraud and hacking. I no longer had access to the old number so I couldn’t receive the code through text. I emailed Coinbase for support and all I got was automated responses. There’s also an option to update your new number but you still need the previous number in order to make that update. I also requested a temporary unlock of my account. No help whatsoever. I lost a few hundred dollars due to not being able to access my money. I had no choice but to contact the FTC. No paying customer should be treated like they don’t matter because the customer is paying for transactional fee’s to use the exchange. I don’t recommend Coinbase to anyone.

Coinbase support is Horrid!!!

Coinbase support is Horrid! They have phone support now, but called them and they sent my case to email support who just give you the runaround as usual. I told them that I wanted a call from a Supervisor regarding the extra $999 that they took out of my account because they have a terrible glitched-up system, and they told me via email they they don't make outbound phone calls. Now I am trying to call them again about my incident/case because all the email supports want do is close your case asap. They don't give a rats ass about helping, and their new phone support is clueless when it comes to actual Company knowledge.

Absolutely not help whatsoever.
It was as if you are talking to an AI bot the entire time. They don't even take the time to read what you wrote. They bounce you around as if you're a toy and they will end the session on you whenever they feel like it. Oh and don't forget they will take 5 minutes to respond each time only to say I need 3 more minutes. What are you even doing back there if all you're doing is sending me a copy paste statement that doesn't answer my questions.

Just avoid coinbase

Just avoid coinbase. They froze my account right after I made a deposit and have not been able to access my account since despite 3 recovery attempts. They just keep disabling it after every recovery. I lost a lot of money with fees and opportunity cost. They take forever to respond and instead of acknowledging their issue and apologizing they have a condescending attitude. Please do yourself a favour and look for another exchange.

CS is complete garbage!

Thieving, scamming, lying sons of b’s that will lock your money up so that you can’t sell, trade or rebuy until you’re at a significant loss.
I called today to ask why my account was still frozen and the first guy’s response was “click”. Hung up on me. I called back only to get transferred 4 times! Somehow on the 4th transfer, I ended up with the jack off that hung up on me. When I told him that I think we got disconnected, he flat out told me that we didn’t and he had hung up to send out an email. Hung up again.
The email basically stated that if any client were to threaten or harass any of their employees, Coinbase would shut my account down and report me to the authorities. This is after I told them that I’m seeing a pattern of Coinbase locking up customers’ monies/accounts. Friend of mine has over $30K locked up and no one ever seems to have an answer for him. It’s been 3 months now.
I seriously hope the SEC looks into this scam of a company.

I regret ever using these people.

Worse company I ever dealt with!
I think that the few positive reviews are sponsored, or people did not encounter any problem yet.
The way they treat their customers is terrible. They don't take customer account security seriously. Then
if you fall victim to some fraud or a scam, they will not help you at all. They will blame it on you and demand you to pay them back for unauthorized transactions on your account.
I wish I would never ever open an account with them. This situation cost me money and health.

Absolutely worse experience for any…

Absolutely worse experience for any financial investment/trading platform ever. My account has been under review for six months and absolutely no one can help. I only ever get automated responses and nothing changes. Can’t seem to verify my identity and whole process is utterly convoluted.

Terrible support - completely unacceptable for a bank

I am going around in circles. My account was randomly closed out of the blue. Contacted support and keep getting the same bot email responses.

This is what I'm going through right now:
1. Contact support about account being closed
2. They unlock account temporarily
3. I do as it asks in the email response
4. Account gets closed again for "suspicious activity"

And this happens over and over and over again, why? cause I cant even talk to an actual person.

Customer service was not only a joke

Customer service was not only a joke, but disrespectful and arrogant. Do you really think they care? They only care about one thing and that's covering their tail and sweeping as much under the rug as possible. This is a rug pull company (like all of the crypto exchanges are), and the app & site were constructed to trade against their customers and steal as much money as possible through trading tactics that are outlawed on Wall Street. If you are lucky enough to buy low and sell high and get out, then you're one of the 5%. The other 95% of their customers are their victims that they utilize a variety of tactics to steal their customers money; whether that may be freezing the site and locking out their customers, not executing trades when selected, preventing limit orders from executing, utilizing shady money managers/algorythms/bots to force customers to trade higher or lower than planned, freezing charts during runs, freezing pages, log in issues, inside pump & dump schemes, flat out crypto manipulation of the coins on their platform, open arms to known rug pullers on their platform, stealing cryptos, allowing hacks to drain customer accounts, maintenance during sell offs, manipulating coins they are invested in (SOL for just one example), back door deals with whales no doubt, thieving trading bots implemented to slowly manipulate runs to cause panic selling or FOMO to cost average, utilizing chart technology to cause illusion to force buying/selling, and essentially running the same exact algorithms as a slot machine with similar results that slowly pull the rug out from all of the investors who are coerced by advertising/bots on forums/other communication avenues to keep buying the dip as it will inevitably prove to be one giant Ponzi scheme rug pull at the very end. Then they close up shop as investors are left with no access to their funds. The biggest sham in modern day history happening right before our eyes. This is not only not a trustworthy company, this is a flat out illegal thieving operation run by crooks and planning to be one of the major rug pull players of the greatest financial crime to ever happen. Worst part about it is that nobody will stop them. Getting fast money or slowly making money over time is tempting, but this operation was rigged to either take your money quick or slowly take it all over time. Buyer beware. And you don't have to believe me, just look at all the other people that are saying the same things I am saying. It's a scam, a rug pull, a giant mirage, a thieving derived business strategy, and ultimately a manipulated game of hungry-hungry-hippo. They will steal all of your money and you will lose (or at least 90% of you). It's gambling, no different, just except it's more manipulated and rigged and geared to ultimately steal as much as possible from their clients. It might be easier just to save your time and send them a check. It will save you the stress and you'll probably lose less money that way.
