Worst customer support ever

My hometown ( address on identity card) is diferent from the address from my bills because I live and work in a different city. Due to this they would not re-validate my account even after me having been using it their app for years and opening two tickets explaining the situation.

Received an immediate automatic response both times and my ticket was closed.

Closed my account. Will use alternative.

Terrible service!!!

Terrible service!!!

I am not able to make transactions, I just see a random error when I try to do so...

I contacted the support to explain my case: two weeks later and nobody answers me!

W.T.F. coinbase?! Big loss because of incompetence

Stay away from coinbase

Stay away from coinbase. Not to trust. I've been a user since 2017.
Their systems and support processes collapse every time there is big demand for Bitcoin (when price goes up or down).
They had me locked out of my account for more than three months. I was not receiving the SMS for 2-factor authentication -- and the problem was not on my end.
And suddenly after they had me locked out of my account for more than three months, I started again to receive SMS messages and all worked fine, without me or my phone company changing anything!!!
All works fine, until it happens again, because it's the second time I have problems with them. Again in the past, I couldn't sell when the Bitcoin price was high and everybody was selling.
And by the way, they hide behind support workload (which is not our fault and it's not an excuse) and reply every 15 days with canned answers that don't solve the issue.
They are not trustworthy.
Everyone on their team should be ashamed of their level of service, tech infrastructure and ethics.
I am conscious of what I'm saying and I believe every word of it.
this is a financial insitution and should, no matter what, give you access to your funds whenever you need them. Imagine if you have a bank account and your bank tells you for two months you have no access to your money. would they get away with that?
Stay away from coinbase if you want your sanity.

Worst support ever

I have opened an account with coinbase and applied for verification 2 months ago. I have received an email saying that my account is under verification and it will take a few days to complete.

After a month I have submitted a ticket since my account was still under verification and I haven't received any answer whatsoever telling me what if something is wrong with my details or why it is taking longer than initially stated.

The only reply that I got back is the automatic bot saying that "they're here to help" and will send me a reply.

A month later I've got a message saying:
"Coinbase Support resolved and closed your case."

Of course though the case was not resolved and I haven't gotten any reply from a real person.

Tried to ask for an explenation or something, and got back "Thanks for the response! We’d love to help you further, however, this case has been closed and cannot be reopened."

So, this is by far the worst support and service I have ever received

Don’t risk losing your money with…

Don’t risk losing your money with Coinbase. I’ve used the service for a couple of years now and I’ve finally had enough. The “customer support” is abysmal, and it seems with each update it deteriorates more and more.

Echoing what a lot of people have said, Coinbase is very simple and user friendly until you encounter a problem. Then, you have a better chance at winning the lottery than speaking to a real person when you need answers. Instead, you are forced to suffer through filling out their contact form and hope that one day you might get a response: What was even more debilitating for me is when I finally did receive an email, it was clearly a pre written template with a link back to their support page.

It’s insane to me that a company that manages (or rather mismanages) people’s money can treat their customers with such little respect. So make no mistake; Coinbase does not care about their customers, and it’s evident in their lack of support for them.

They lock you from your money with no reason

This company customer support is only made of bots. There are no people behind. They lock your account for no reason and they still let you see their portfolio. They ask you for ID verification and once they get your passport they hide the portfolio from you.

5 days I cannot sleep, I am losing my health because I made the mistake of putting my money in the hands of this company.

I wonder if I will be able to see my money or they just locked my account to get my money and one of them keep it for themselves. I am going to get sick because I made the mistake of putting my money with this company.

Coinbase is now ignoring me

Coinbase is now ignoring me. It doesn't usually take so long to get a reply from them. However, as all my reports are "TRUE" and they are really so bad at what they do, they just do not answer meanwhile, I am still locked out of my account!! Terrible, terrible, terrible service, they should be so ashamed of the service they are giving to their loyal customers...

CoinBase blocked my account without reason

CoinBase blocked my account without any reason explaining to me. They just informed me about investigation. When next I tried to log in account is 'temporary blocked'.
Tickets submitted, email sent, password reset multiple times, engaged via chat. Result: now it passed 6 weeks. Account still temporary blocked. No feedback from support. My funds stuck.
Be aware of incompetence of CoinBase
I seek assistance on my ticket ENABLING my account. If anyone can assist me with LEGAL advise I would appreciate

Thieves

They've locked my 'verified' account, stolen the money from it and haven't responded in weeks and weeks. Never EVER trust these people with a cent. Their support don't 'support' their clients - they just ignore emails, calls etc. If you do call them up, they have an automated threat message - the person calling this number will have their account cancelled upon completion of the call. Absolute scum

A team of stupid uselless scammers…

A team of stupid uselless scammers AVOID AT ALL COSTS. USE BITSTAMP INSTEAD. I live in Greece and I provided them with documents to verify that. They then replied and said that they want these documents to be ENGLISH, but I f****ng live in GREECE I cannot provide them with ENGLISH documents. They said they are looking into my case. Delayed 10 days and AFTER that I opened a second support ticket. They closed it and said my case is resolved. MY ACCOUNT IS STILL FROZEN THO.
They are a bunch of useless incompetent people, please AVOID this platform at any costs, they will try to scam you.

This is a company just not worth the hassle of dealing with.

Worst support ever considering they are…

Worst support ever considering they are dealing with people's money, I transferred money usd from coinbase pro to coinbase it deducted from pro but didn't show on coinbase it's lost somewhere and these guys will not respond not sure what to do this is terrible, help? Sue them maybe? Already waiting on reply for another lesser issue since 2 weeks.
Update: they returned the money but I communication,?

Had some issues initially trying…

Had some issues initially trying accessing my account due to 2FA auth problems, turned out it was my browser - switched to Chrome and got in straight away.

Was nervous about withdrawing BTC externally after reading such negative reviews, but the tx completed in under a half hour.

I agree with the comments people are making about the non-existent support from Coinbase; I count myself lucky that my tx went through so quickly compared to others I am reading about on here.
