Easy and well managed process from start to finish. Jake was excellent pre and post procedure, Dr Moussa, Stan, Emma and Amanda were brilliant and made me feel relaxed throughout the day. I look forward to the results of their hard work!!!!

One year after my hair transplant it's time for an update.  Put simply it worked brilliantly!

The best bit was going to the barber, which I hadn't done for years, I'd usually get a no2 all over that my wife did.  What I wasn't expecting was that I got quite emotional about it, who saw that coming!  3 trips later and my hair hasn't looked this good for more than 20 years!

Would I recommend them?  Yes I would, but be prepared for quite a lot of discomfort and be sure to follow all their advice and instructions to make sure you get as good an outcome as possible.

It’s been a year since my surgery and I am so impressed with the results. The whole team in Nottingham are amazing, I was well looked after. Consultant Dr Ahmad Moussa was very honest explaining what could be achieved, and there was no pressure to go ahead. Jake texted every day to see how I was post surgery and gave great support and advice. I would not hesitate to recommend Surgery Group.

I'm very pleased with my final results. My hair grew back earlier than I expected, so at the 4 month stage looked pretty good and got thicker with every month or hair cut. Thankyou Surgery Group.

Fantastic service offered by this company. Very transparent and clear about expectations for a crown transplant. Jake and Matthew were avaliable (almost 24/7 it seemed) to answer questions i had prior to and post the surgery. The surgeon, Dr Ahmed, had a very professional but relaxing demeanor which is great for those who may have some anxiety about the procedure. His team of assistants were also very efficient and re-assuring. The after care has been has been second to none. This company genuinely offers great value for money when looking into hair restoration. I now just need to sit back and wait for the results.

As a man in his 40’s, following 10 years of hair loss, I was becoming increasingly scared of the wind blowing. I was wearing hats more often yet managing to hide a receding hairline ‘quite’ well under a longer style.

After 2 years of research and speaking with lots of unqualified companies with unqualified surgeons I spoke with and went to visit The Surgery Group.

I had a good feeling from my initial calls with Jake and it just got better in person. Welcoming, knowledgeable, honest, and understanding. The team also gave recommendations that made complete sense with no sales tactics just transparency.

After lots of consideration, I underwent a procedure to my hairline in July 2022 with a transplant of 2200 hairs from the back of my head. I am now one year on and have seen considerable and impressive regrowth and now have a very natural-looking hairline.

Dr Moussa is not only a skilled professional but also an extremely nice person and is very focused on the care of his patients. The team of technicians complemented his professional manner and put me at ease throughout the day and my experience in the Nottingham clinic could not have been better or felt smoother.

The results are what I hoped for, and I would not hesitate to recommend The Surgery Group, their professional team and their quality approach to the service and care given.

I had been planning to get a transplant for many years and was always worried because I didn’t know if it was right for me. I was especially worried because I have afro hair and was wondering how this might affect my transplant but I was assured by the team that I was in safe hands. When speaking to the team about getting the operation I never felt pressured into it like I did with other clinics and my options were made clear from the get go. They were amazing and talked me through the process so that all my worries and questions were sorted. They looked after me throughout the booking of the transplant, the day of the transplant and all the way through the aftercare.

I had a good experience with this Team. Dr Amanda made sure that before everything took place all my questions and concerns were answered. She also gave me the option to make any changes that I felt would look more aesthetically suitable for the results that I was expecting whilst still being clear on the limitations that were at play. I also had great aftercare support from Jake, Who checked on me everyday after the procedure to see how I was getting on and to make sure I was following the aftercare steps correctly. This definitely made my experience more comfortable and less daunting.

I am now 2 months post op and so far so good. I can see steady signs of progress. Hopefully in the next few months the results are exactly as expected. I will update when I have more information.

Superb consultation with The Surgery Group prior to having my hair transplant. I engaged initially with Jake and Matt who talked me through what to expect in great detail. I then visited the clinic in Nottingham and sat with Jake and Dr Ahmed who drew a very realistic hairline that fitted my head profile perfectly. They discussed the day of the procedure and the 14 days that are crucial Post surgery day. There was no stone left unturned, this gave me great confidence to book the date and go ahead. For me it was in six weeks time, this was a good cooling off period for me to consider the whole process, I never considered anything other than going forward with it, mainly due to the clear and precise way I’d been briefed by the Surgery Group. This is an exceptional facility which is run very professionally, all of the team under Dr Ahmed were first class in everything I experienced. The surgery date arrived 21/03/23 and it went as briefed, exactly as briefed and the experience was just perfect in every way. Of course it is a little uncomfortable at times but then having numerous needles in your scalp is not normally an easy procedure to have but rest assured it is rather more uncomfortable than it is painful which is of course to be expected. Dr Ahmed is meticulous with the siting and effortless speed in which he administers the anaesthetic injections which numbs the area almost immediately. My procedure lasted 6 hours with a lunch break half way, you watch TV, listen to music or talk to the staff who all have interesting stories but all the time the staff work effortlessly on your head with skill and precision, briefing you all of the way on progress, what more could you want. One time in my procedure, about 2 hours from the end, my head started to feel a little painful, the girls working on me at the time called Dr Ahmed in immediately who administered more anaesthetic which numbed the area the second it was injected. On leaving the Surgery Group post procedure, you are briefed again by Dr Ahmed and left with no doubt what your next 14 days recovery time are about. Every day of the 14 days of recovery you are contacted by Jake to ensure all is well and the recovery procedure is followed to the letter. I am absolutely in ore of the whole set up of the Surgery Group, a well established, ultra professional and very personable team who I unreservedly recommend at the highest level to anybody wishing to take that step into the hair transplant arena. A platinum service from beginning to end thank you very much indeed.

It's something I've bin thinking about for a bit, i got talking to Matthew about what I wanted, and he left me to it and didnt pressure me into booking there and then, I phoned back up and a few days later to book my self in, I didn't even phone no where else up, as I was happy with our chat and the price

Very happy with my hair transplant experience with Surgery Group. The transplant at the crown on my head took place at end of August 2022. Now just over 6 months later I have hair growing on what used to be a completely shiny bald crown. I can comb it. Lol. Haven’t been able to do that for years. My grown up kids check it out regularly and say… Result Dad! There was good follow up too following the procedure itself and helpful advice given. Happy to recommend Surgery Group very highly.

Having had two fut surgery's in the past, with another clinic and a few consultations with others I decided on the surgery group, after speaking with Dr mousa. He was the only surgeon who did not rush me to go ahead, and told me I have time. The surgery and technicians were excellent, price was also very reasonable, compared to others.
I'm 3 weeks in and very happy. I don't think it could go any better. And this is my third. Well first fue.
The after care is excellent with Jake contacting you daily for two weeks. And is always available for any questions. And it was a very easy process to arrange and book with Matthew. Don't waste your money in Harley Street for the same result. You would probably have the same technicians.
