Sweaterpicks discourages returns, unacceptably low product quality

Received my irregular shape rug and the quality was absolutely laughable and 100% unacceptable. When I contacted them for a return, they shared that I could send back for a refund but they try to con you into taking 20 dollars compensation instead because, “We contacted the logistics company. Because COVID-19 is still prevalent at present, it may take at least one month to return the package. Considering that the transportation time is too long, the package may be damaged or lost in the transportation process. In order to maximize the interests of customers, we agree to return [20 dollars in total] as compensation, and do not need to return the product.”

HOW IS SWEATERPICKS STILL OPERATING.

I already went on a social media rant about them to alert others. I wish I had done my research before ordering from such a terrible company. I ordered my covers over a month and a half ago and have yet to receive them. Every time I check in they tell me they are looking into it and their "logistics department" (probably two people sharing half a brain) promises it will be here in 7-15 days. Also, judging by these reviews I am guessing it will be poor quality too. What a waste of $120.00.

Took over a month to receive and received the wrong cover. What I got was a cheap throw. Update, sweaterpicks contacted me and will ship the right cover.

Do not stand behind their products when sold for something it is not made for. The pet blanket had snags within a few days of use. I was offered to try and send it back or they would give a partial refund or risk customs and possibly no refund. Terrible quality product. Do not buy from them. They do not allow bad reviews on their website, they screen them.

***Update: After leaving several bad reviews including this one I was contacted by the company and they refunded my money. This experience would have been much better had they done the right thing from the beginning, however, I am appreciative that they reevaluated and stood behind their product. They did also ask that I update this review to be transparent.

Initially I only received half of my order and I was quite alarmed, especially since there was not a bill of sale in the package. Thankfully the second half of my order showed up today.

The first set of sofa covers (the quilted waterproof Beige 6) are absolutely lovely but unfortunately they are on the small side. The second set of sofa covers (the velvet sectional Diamond Cream) are not nearly as nice as the quilted ones. Both sets cost me over $600 and I most likely won't use the Velvet set. I would like to exchange it for another set but the distributor is in China and I will have to pay for shipping back to China.

Excellent products, excellent customer service!

Took over a month to receive as it was from China. Paid $125 for a cover for my couch. Poor quality, went on Amazon and ordered what I thought was something similar. Turns out, it's exactly the same,for $25.
Asked to return, received a response I was financially responsible for shipping back to China and told "it'll probably get lost but you can try".

Please look on Amazon, look up The Turquoize Store. I promise, it's exactly the same stuff! Good luck, and please dont buy from here. What a disaster.

the worst experience i have ever had with purchasing anything online! order irregular shape rug , received a quality that i cant describe, colors that doesn't match website picture, its cheap material with flowers on the back! its printed on a white base carpet !! as soon as i opened it i was shocked, contacted them to return write away and they offered to ship it back to china ! or refund me 20$ !! for 300$ rug !! total scammers !!! all their website is piece of garbage !

The quality of the couch covers is wonderful. They feel comfortable and don't move around as you get on and off the couch. The color choices are very nice as well. I had to contact customer service as I ordered incorrectly. They were prompt and helped me correct my order right away.

This cover was less than half of what it would take to cover my couch. I cannot believe I paid 100.00 for this. It’s an absolute piece of garbage

I had a great experience with this company! I ordered the wrong thing and they let me keep it and send the initial thing I wanted for free! Super nice, prompt customer service responses, and very helpful. My stuff is super cute and cozy too. Would purchase again!

Ordered an irregular shape rug and was horrified when it arrived. Awful quality, the color is printed on a velvet fabric. It is not a woven, yarn dyed rug but a cheap printed thing that when you walk on it there are footmarks on it. Feel cheated as they claim to have free returns but they don’t! They expect you to ship it back to China, you will pay shipping and no guarantee that they will receive it or refund your money. Total scam, after complaints to their customer support email, I was offered $30 refund for a $300 carpet I paid for.

I have never had such a bad experience with a company. The quality is horrible, nothing like what’s shown online. I’ve gone back and forth for weeks requesting a refund. First I was told to ship it to China and pay for that myself?!? Then I was told their warehouse is ‘moving’ so they can’t let me return it yet. They told me they’d give me a refund and then said I’d have to wait until the warehouse moves. Fraudulent company; do not buy.

Scammers, it will take forever to arrive, awful quality, and you will never see your money back!

Zero customers service. China based.

This company is a rip off I ordered two couch covers! It is nice the one I received. But they only shipped one out.When I tell them this they haven’t refunded me for the other one. I thought maybe it was still on the way. But they said it was two. They r crooks.

Honestly this is a great product so far. It doesn't cover my whole couch as you can see in the picture shown (couch is 7ft long) , I chose the wrong size, after communicating with the customer rep they suggested me to return it for replacement Larger size, they provided me with a return label and the return process was easy. Soon I received the large size Cover they sent and it fits my sofa perfectly. It changed my whole couch look and brightened up the room. I’d say get it because if you got a ugly couch like mines this will fursure transform it into something you’d like. Lol

We bought these for our new sofa and love seat and I am SO GLAD we did. We have cats and dogs and the shedding is insane. We had leather furniture prior so we didn’t have to worry much about pet hair. Even spills were easily cleaned. But now with fabric our couches would definitely be goners with out these things. We average one wash a week on the heavy setting in hot water and hot dryer after and they still look great! I’m super impressed!

Good luck returning your items. This is a Chinese based company and if you want to make a return good luck. You have to ship it back to China. But, first you have to email support to get the address. After having to explain why I want a return they provided me with two options. Ship it back within 30 days for a full refund "where it could get lost or damaged" or keep the items and they will refund me a small amount because of the long delays in shipping due to covid. The shipping address provided seems incomplete. I get the feeling the item WILL get "lost or damaged" in shipping. Shipping it back is costly, I assume they count on this.

As for couch covers they are low quality, rough and scratchy to the touch and not worth the price.
