I had a great 1-2-1 swimming lesson here recently. Forgot my swimming hat and my goggles broke when I tried to get them over my massive head so Steven very kindly lent me both!
The lesson itself was good - we videoed my before/after and the difference was shocking. The lesson itself based around breaking down the components of certain swimming strokes and adding each step individually.
I will go back, once Ive practiced some more :)

I thought, I would never learn how to swim. I was scared of water and afraid to go in the pool/sea until I came acros this amazing swim school. My teacher Steven was very friendly and professional. I have taken something around 10 classes and it was best investment ever. I am able to swim and not afraid to get into a 25m pool or even a sea. The lessons are very technical, filled with patience and various different methods of how to get comfortable in water. Highly recommended!

Swimming Class offer an extremely positive, encouraging, committed and highly skilled teaching and have the genuine ability to motivate and enthuse about the sport. I have developed to a level that I didn't think was possible - and am very impressed!

Stephen and Brian are excellent teachers. They have taken a novice middle age swimmer (me) into someone who is confident in the water. I am amazed at my progress and how much I am enjoying the lessons. This is a credit to both them. I would highly recommend them.

Brian was very patient with my 4 year old who was afraid of the water. He is a very happy boy in the pool now after only a few lessons. I can really recommend swimming class.

Amazing and clear instructions from day one ! By the end of my 10th lesson I could swim ,This shows the level of coaching is at high level .

Steven was an excellent instructor. His calm, patient but goal orientated teaching allowed me to push myself safely, beyond my limits. I would highly recommend.

If you are a complete beginner and want to learn the basics very quickly, please don't hesitate and book a crash course with swimmingclass.co.uk. Although I'd taken swimming lessons as a child, my fear of putting my head underwater stopped me from LEARNING how to swim.

At 31, I decided it was time to finally face my fears and booked myself onto a 5 day intensive course. I was a nervous wreck on the first day but the nerves quickly faded away as my lesson with Steven progressed. His calm, friendly and encouraging teaching methods made me realise that there was absolutely nothing to be afraid of and I have come out of each lesson learning and achieving so much more than the previous.

I can't praise Steven enough - he had the perfect balance of knowing when to jump in and help me improve my technique and when to push me (in the nicest possible way) to practise my newly acquired skills independently. By lesson three, by some miracle, I was already attempting front crawl!

My intensive course finishes tomorrow and as sad as I am about it ending, I am so happy to say that I can finally swim! I know I have a long way to to go before I can become a great swimmer but I'm confident that with practise and another block of lessons already in the diary, I can easily achieve this. Huge thank you to Brian for being super efficient in organising my lessons at such short notice and to the wonderful Steven for making the impossible possible - I have (quite literally!) fallen head over heels with swimming! :)

It's not easy learning how to swim when you're in your mid 30's. Moreover, it's not easy to admit that you can't swim and that you are are simply afraid of the water. Signing up to a swimming class was my New Year's resolution and although I was a little hesitant I've chosen 121 sessions with the Swimmingclass. It was the best decision that I have ever made. Not only it taught me that the water is not scary but also, that you can learn how to swim at any age! I have just passed my beginners level (after 6 classes) and can't wait to do all of the next ones! Steven, honestly is the most patient and skilled instructor ever and Brian always coordinates everything to the highest standards. I could not praise the classes enough. If you are considering booking with them, don't think, just do it and you won't regret it!

I really value the effort and humour in the swimming lessons. Stephen is fun, thoughtful and thorough in how he teaches and I am learning bunches with these classes

Before Swimmingclass.co.uk, I couldn't swim at all.
I had Steven as instructor his professionalism and tips have considerably helped me in a way I am now able to go to the pool on my own and keep on trainning as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for swimming lessons

Have learnt so much from the excellent instructor and really enjoyed every single lesson. I have gone from somebody who did not really like the water, to someone who has found a passion in swimming and can swim with confidence. The instructors make every lesson very individual, fun and challenging, focusing not only on certain techniques but working on increasing your general strength, fitness and endurance. They explain techniques in a way that is very easy to pick up and understand, and give productive feedback. Would really recommend this service to anyone, whether you are a complete beginner to swimming or more advanced.

I was looking for swimming lessons somewhere close to work. I could barely swim and was afraid of being in water. The approach in lessons was great and very tailored. One exercise after another my technique was building up and my fears were disappearing. After 10 lessons I felt very comfortable in water. And after 20 I'm quite a good swimmer. Now I only need to work on my endurance.

Although I have no fear in water, I've never been comfortable due to not being able to swim properly. Since having these lessons I have had the confidence to go to my local swimming pool and practise.
I have never been someone that learns well in group settings, so found the 1-2-1 lessons really appealing.
I really appreciated how for a swimming stroke, it was broken down to its constituent parts and basic technique explained, which helped get rid of bad habit picked up over the years. Each lesson was tailored to how I was progressing and if there were any areas I was experiencing difficulty ,that was focused on.
I would definitely recommend these lessons and can definitely see myself having more in the future to help myself improve further.

Great swimming lessons. Stephen is an excellent coach who picks up the smallest tweaks that make a huge difference when you are learning as an adult. He also pushes you the uncomfortable bits, which is what you want from a coach!.

Top instructors who made the lessons both fun and challenging. They transformed my technique in short period of time making me a far more effective swimmer. Couldn't recommend these guy highly enough

Brian has been great with my daughter. She bonded with him straight away and has made great progress.

My daughter had lessons with Ivan, who is friendly calm and who enabled my daughter to become very confident in the water. If you are worried about your child's confidence in the water, then I would highly recommend you sign up with Brian and his team. This may be best money you will ever spend, and those swimming pool worries when on holiday will subside. I now have a daughter who is confident in the water, and I will no longer worry about the forthcoming summer holidays. The lessons are well structured and very calm, and I cannot recommend Brian and his team more.

Nice teachers that work around your schedule, and put effort into lessons. Only stayed a short while but believe that I am quite prepared to swim now.
