The quality of the craftsmanship in their work was simply fantastic - re-covering an iconic mid century Danish swivel chair in smooth black leather. It needed a mix of tensioned leather across the curved base and then some softness and flex in the cushions. This was a one off- the original covering would have been put on a production line and the quality achieved by SWU is down to the skills of the craftsmen to recreate that look from scratch. Oh - and a very good price too. Can't recommend too highly

My reupholstered furniture looks perfect and the workmanship is excellent. All the Staff were very helpful and kept me informed when there was a delay in completing my furniture on time. The Collection and Delivery staff were friendly and curtious and handled the reupholstered items with care.
The showroom had a good selection of fabric samples and arranged for some to be sent to me for choosing the right colour to go in the room.
I am very satisfied and I would recommend SW Upholsterers.

Excellent communication and service for a tricky problem we had with our expensive branded sofa. This involved reducing the width of the cushions so that they fitted far better. They also suggested removing and replacing the layer of feathers with the correct amount of foam. This meant they returned to shape after each use. We are so pleased with the results which mean we now have a very neat sofa and so much more comfort. Many thanks to you, SW Upholstery.

Very pleased with our furniture. We were able to test all the available foams and take advantage of their knowledge about the products. Collection and return of the furniture went very smoothly and all the staff we dealt with were friendly and professional.

We are very happy with the way our sofa has been re-covered. It’s a very large sofa at 3x1m and it looks as good as new - in fact the cover fits better than the original cover. A very good job. It took quite a long time but worth the wait.

Excellent service. Called for an appointment and was able to go in the next day. Incredibly friendly and professional team. We were able to take our time choosing our fabric. Really thorough and helpful service from start to finish. When we were booked in to have our furniture taken to the warehouse (3 seater sofa & 2 armchairs) there was a delay. But we had a new carpet being fitted so that had to take it. They were so helpful that even though the upholstery was delayed they kept our furniture in their warehouse. Absolutely delighted with our beautiful sofa and chairs. They look amazing. We would highly recommend this company.

I recently had my leather recliner chair recovered. It was in desperate need of upholstering and recovered. I chose a different colour from brown to limestone. I live in London so it was duly collected and delivered within two weeks coming from Bristol. I chose this company because I found the staff excellent, helpful and gave me advice when I needed. I can’t praise them enough and will certainly recommend them to my friends and family, my chair has been bought back to life I love it, it’s beautiful and comfortable.

They were really helpful and efficient. We needed foam cushions for our old sofas to replace the old feather cushions. When we got them home we realised they were slightly too big, and the company immediately took them back and trimmed them to the correct size.

I have used this company twice now, to cover leather sofa seat cushions and to upholster an old chair using traditional methods and I have been really pleased with the final results. Their customer service is excellent, they have always responded to my queries and emails very quickly. Everybody I have spoken to are so helpful and polite, I do not hesitate to recommend them.

I recently had four kitchen chairs re-upholstered in faux leather. They were picked up from London and returned in little more than a week looking splendid. Very pleased with the service and can thoroughly recommend.

Great company to deal with. Were able to advise and quote for the recovering of 4 dining chairs; I was able to chose sample materials online and they sent out 3 material swatches so we could see which one would best suit us. They collected our chairs and delivered them back to us fairly quickly and the driver even carried them back to the dining room for me. We are absolutely delighted with the workmanship and the chairs look even better than we had hoped.

Fantastic company! Our sofa quite literally looked fit for the bin after our new edition (pup) took a liking to all things fluffy! They talked us through the many options of materials and seat fillings ect, we originally thought leather would be the best option for our busy house until hearing about the scratch resistant and bleach cleanable material- yes please!! A complete transformation which looks and feels absolutely amazing, better than we could have imagined! At a very reasonable price too 👍 Would highly recommend this company and certainly re upholstering your sofas! So many thanks SWU!!

Cannot rate this company highly enough. After 17 years of hard use, the cushions on my old leather sofa were sagging and uncomfortable to sit on. They have a new lease of life now, and with a bit of work from a well known leather restorer kit, I find it hard to believe it's not a new sofa.
