No refund

Since this service suddenly stopped working, no one answers any questions about refunds for unfulfilled server rental obligations. The remaining balance is still with them. Scammers.

The "Scammers of the Year" have finally…

The "Scammers of the Year" have finally revealed themselves. They refuse to refund amounts for services that weren't used due to their system crash, resulting in a delay of nearly a week without any explanation. As a result, they are not refunding payments for VPS services for months in advance, nor for lost projects (written in the sand). They are charging for backups they never actually provided.

They operate several sites and will most likely rebrand, so stay away.

I am extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with THE.Hosting.

The company has announced a sudden and permanent shutdown of all services with only a few days’ notice. All renewals and new orders have been disabled, support channels are no longer functioning, and customers are being told that their data and services will be permanently deleted.

This is especially concerning because many customers, including myself, still have active prepaid services. There is no reasonable transition period, no proper migration plan, and no clear mechanism for refunds of unused service time.

From a customer perspective, this feels like a complete failure in service continuity and responsibility. A provider shutting down infrastructure in this way leaves customers exposed and unable to properly secure or migrate their systems.

I have already initiated a chargeback process through my bank and also contacted Stripe regarding this matter.

I would strongly advise caution to anyone considering this provider.

After closing their business

After closing their business, they do not offer refunds to clients. But I managed to get my last payment back (300€) , for the extension of the work of the VPS. The last payment was made through PayPal. He has 180 days to return the money and the limit has not been reached. I truly feel sorry for those who paid via crypto; someone got very rich at your expense.

Simply terrible

Simply terrible. They are literal criminals. The reincorporation occurs multiple time. Accept payments with a weird and unsafe payment gateway, and now say that they are shutting down operations without refunding anyone!

Company of criminals


The company is criminal, recently their servers were confiscated by the police and all their users lost their data on the servers without the possibility of recovery, and the organization itself is involved in providing servers for conducting cyberattacks related to pro-Russian interests, the company was previously known as "Stark Industries", you can learn more about the situation by typing "Dutch police raid Stark Industries" into the search engine

We've been offline for over a day

We've been offline for over a day. I've been trying to contact support, but they're not responding. I've waited a day. I'm browsing through reviews online and see that it's not just me, but everyone else who's having this problem. The servers are unavailable. Thank goodness I at least have backups of my data.

The Worst Hosting Company I’ve Ever Used

A few months ago they suddenly blocked my account for no clear reason. I didn’t do anything wrong, but out of nowhere they asked me for KYC and gave me no way to access my servers or websites or backups.

Then yesterday, after months of this mess, they sent an email saying all data from servers in some locations was gone forever. Just “sorry”, and they gave me an empty server instead.

All my customers’ data is gone. Everything I worked for is gone. This honestly destroyed my life.

This is easily the worst hosting company that can exist on the internet.

Very poor

Very poor, i just got downtime for 2 days, and after that receive message: sorry all our data is deleted, we cannot do anything.

I was bought VPS in every country for make own obtainable network, and after that i was lost that and have very critical gones.

Is kidding and before was ask KYC me, i think is stolling and selling data from VPS & your personal.

no activation and no support response

I do not recommend this company.

I purchased a server from THE.Hosting around 5 AM, but it has still not been activated. I also opened a support ticket at around 2 PM, yet there has been no response at all.

It is now several hours later and the server is still not active, and there is no communication from support. This is unacceptable for a paid service.

This was my first and last order with this provider.

They are criminals

They are criminals; their datacentres got raided by the Dutch police this week and 800+ physical servers got seized. They used to be called Stark Industries until that entity got sanctioned by the US, UK and the EU.

They actively support cyber criminals and lie to their own customers, saying this was a technical incident rather than telling them that they have had their hardware seized by the FIOD and that the machines will likely be searched by the Dutch police.

Their KYC process is a joke and an attempt to gather data; any self-respecting company that cares about the security of your PII would use a 3rd party trusted service like Stripe Identity.

Servers can be down for days

Servers can be down for days. There's absolutely no support. The vaunted slogan of 24/7 support is just empty talk. Prices are average or even slightly above market. Reliability is low. Performance is more or less average, nothing outstanding.

All server data deleted!

All server data deleted! No hope of recovery. How can a hosting provider be so incompetent? Adding salt to the wound, threats of disabling ticket creation if we bother them too much. How pathetic!

Here's part of the email that was sent:

"Unfortunately, following a major technical incident, the infrastructure in several affected locations — including the United States, Germany, the Netherlnds and Austria — was permanently lost and cannot be restored. Our technical team made every possible effort to maintain service stability and preserve infrastructure availability. However, due to the scale of the incident, recovery of the affected servers and hosted data is no longer possible."

I suffered losses close to $5,000…

I suffered losses close to $5,000 because of your service, and I am extremely disappointed.

I had purchased 9 servers, and I was informed that all of their data had been deleted and could not be recovered.

I deeply regret choosing this hosting provider, and I will never use your services again.

What makes this even worse is that, instead of properly compensating the damage, you offered me “extra service time” because of the data loss. Extra time does not fix the financial damage I suffered. Before offering meaningless compensation, you should take responsibility for the nearly $5,000 in losses caused by this incident.

They deleted all our data!!!!

They deleted all our data. They claimed their servers had crashed and the data was irretrievable, and without any regard for their customers, they said something like, "We’ve just extended your service for a few days."
This is absolutely unacceptable and completely unprofessional.
People entrust you with nearly all their data, and you don’t even back it up.
Stay away from this system! I’d rather pay an extra $50 and get better-quality service & servers!

In one night they have lost all their data. After 14 hours of downtime, just wrote a message like “all servers failed and all data lost, including backups”. Support ignored all 14 hours during downtime.
No trust, no safety, no reliability.

I am being the criminal due to this platform.

My all servers & my life are disappeared at once.
I created over 3 servers for company and my business on this platform.
I used this platform over 2 years.
But 5/18/2026, my all servers are disappeared and I lost all data including my emails and company data.
I get asked too many questions from company, but I can't answer any of them.
Also, I can't access my any finance accounts due to losing access my emails.
how can I live without that? the company will report this to the police. I am being the criminal due to this platform.
I am waiting and waiting to recover my vps from the hosting.

Total data loss — Will never use this hosting again

I purchased a VPS from this company. One day 18.05.2026 the server went completely offline. After some time, support informed me that due to an "emergency situation", all data on my server was permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
There were apparently no backups at all. Months of work — websites, databases, files, configurations — everything is gone forever.
Instead of proper support, they asked me to "remain calm and refrain from creating additional requests". As compensation for losing all my data, they only offered to extend the service period on a new server.
This level of service is completely unacceptable.
Conclusion: This hosting provider is not reliable. Complete lack of data protection and very poor customer service during a critical incident.
I strongly do not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you store important data on your server.
