Excellent hosting service
Fast servers, 24/7 support, great uptime. Easy to use control panel, affordable prices.I highly recommend this hosting provider to anyone looking for reliable, professional hosting solutions. Their combination of performance, support, and security makes them an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced users.
After researching several…
After researching several budget-friendly options, I chose The Hosting for my new portfolio. The sign-up process was simple, and the server uptime has been excellent. I haven't needed to contact support often, but the few times I did, they were helpful. The user dashboard is logical and easy to navigate. For students or creatives starting their first website, this is a reliable and uncomplicated platform to begin with.
Worst experience with hosting providers in more than 10 years
Our company has been working with VPS service providers for over 10 years. We have half a dozen providers in the EU, and as all honest EU companies know, the primary business identification in the EU is the VAT number, which is verified by a central EU database that certifies companies. Any company operating in the EU knows this. When this company asks us for a KYC check, the first question that arises is: who the hell is KYC? We've never heard of such a thing. Furthermore, in many EU countries, it is prohibited by law to request copies of identification documents. There are various forms of certification, but it's definitely not KYC. And everything is shady, including the 5% fees on any payment method (no provider has ever charged us this), which are only announced upon registration. Reading the other comments here, you can already see that we weren't a case gone wrong. It smells like a scam, it tastes like a scam, so it must be a scam. Regrettable...
I’ve been using this hosting service…
I’ve been using this hosting service for a while, and I must say I’m impressed. The pricing is affordable, and everything runs fast and smoothly. Setting up the server didn’t take long since the interface is very intuitive and easy to understand, even without prior experience. The control panel is straightforward, with no unnecessary features to get in the way. I also like that they offer a wide variety of plans, so it’s easy to pick one that fits your needs without overpaying for extras you don’t use. Overall, I’m happy with the service and think it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for reliable hosting.
Cheap, but unstable
Cheap, and.. unstable, downtime seems unpredictable, I rented a server for 5 days but every day it goes down for a few minutes to a few tens of minutes.
High latency during peak hour of Asia area.
You get what you pay for :)

False advertising and dishonest practices
Do NOT buy VPS from this company! They make false claims.
I purchased a VPS that they advertised as having a node in Brazil. As soon as it was activated, I measured 250ms latency — which clearly means the server is actually in Europe, with only an IP geolocated in Brazil.
When I requested a refund, instead of resolving the issue, they blocked my entire account.
This is absolutely dishonest behavior. And those who write fake positive reviews to trick others are just as dishonest.
I am certain my review will be deleted, but I had to warn others.
Hopefully, The.Hosting will at least spend my money on medicine.

SHITTY COMPANY
Very bad experience with this company, STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS!
The UK ‘London’ VPSs deliberately marketed through misleading advertising on their website do not actually provide a London IP address, but the servers are based in Coventry, which could be a problem for many, as it provides a Coventry IP address.
I did everything I could to explain through the chat support that this could be a decisive factor in whether or not to subscribe, resulting in a request for a refund of the amount spent (and this happened the next day, as soon as I noticed the inconsistency through IP verification), but of course it was all in vain, as they claim to have provided the service in full. And I agree with that, they provided a full service... of deceptive crap.
I CAN'T GIVE THEM LESS THAN ONE STAR because they would have deserved it.
NEVER AGAIN

Don't use for critical stuff
I've been using the predecessor PQ.Hosting for like 2 or 3 years without any major issues. But soon after it was changed to THE.Hosting they shut down all my services without any warning or notice period whatsoever requiring to do a KYC process to restore the services.
So better don't use this provider for anything critical or even better avoid in general.

Blocked my hosting
Blocked access to hosting, supposedly I need to go through KYC, when I click on the link the page simply does not open. At the same time, they offer to send a photo of my passport, which I hold near my face for some unknown reason, supposedly for verification. I wonder how my data will be used later
And now they have completely deleted my account

Policy changes without a prior notification
I was working with them for a while, then they just suspend my account without any prior warning, due to the announced policy modification. No email, nothing - a new requirement from the hosting to use the KYC. Avoid it
UPDATE:
Thanks for the reply, but it's quite generic. You don't give the previous notifications, you just suspend the servers. My opinion didn't change, the KYC might be the practice worldwide, but you should send a notification prior to that. With escalations coming each X days

We have been with you for more than a year and are very happy!
In order to ensure the functioning of the corporate website, there was a need to select a reliable hosting provider. Due to the wide range of offers on the hosting market, a detailed analysis of the available options was conducted. The priority selection criteria were: the ability of the platform to withstand a significant influx of visitors in the future, high speed of processing user requests, as well as the optimal ratio of price and quality of the services provided. Based on the analysis, preference was given to THE.Hosting. We have been with you for more than a year and are very happy!
Twice had problems with the service
Twice had problems with the service. Both times servers were deleted without any possibility to restore those. Both times it was tha fault of the service. Have your backups, obviously, and stay sharp with their support and services in general.
Last time i paid for 1 year service and for 2 months my server was offline and unavailable, they kept telling me the problem will be solved at some point, its still not solved.
Stay away.

Do Not Use Them or You’ll Regret It
Unstable and slow.
I rented a 12-core / 16GB RAM VPS in their Hong Kong data center. At first, I was just concerned about the extremely slow network speeds, but then I realized the service itself is incredibly unstable. They treat downtime lasting over 24 hours due to “data center issues” as if it’s perfectly normal. In my case, the VPS was completely unusable for 36 hours.
Support? Absolutely terrible. All they ever say is “we’re working on it” — they won’t even provide an ETA.
Be warned! Their website makes zero mention of any SLA or uptime guarantees. This means if their uptime drops to 0.1%, you still have no grounds to complain. I should have noticed this obvious red flag before handing over €500.
To save just $2–3 a month, is it really worth ditching far more reliable providers like Hetzner or OVH and trusting a shady service apparently run by some anonymous Russian operator? Absolutely not.
Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lazy and unprofessional guys
They are active and helping right until they get your money. Once you put some euros there, do not expect any tech support or anything else. I've used about 10 VPS providers all over the world - definitely the worst one. Please pick something else.

The server was blocked for a fictitious reason.
Here ticket chat

Hi support team,
Please enable the server to handle abuse.
Thanks!
John Constantine 2025-06-25 16:16:32
Hello, you need to pass a KYC check in the next ticket and then we will turn on the server after reinstalling the OS.
Romario Kovalskii 2025-06-25 17:58:53
Let me take the backups in that case
Romario Kovalskii 2025-06-25 17:59:29
I don't need to reinstall the OS
John Constantine 2025-06-25 18:21:22
We do not provide backups from phishing servers. It will be enabled only after account verification.
Romario Kovalskii2025-06-25 18:37:52
What phishing service are we talking about?
Check first and make sure what's what, then draw conclusions based on the facts - you have all the access to do this
After you figure things out, open access so that I can take the backups
It's not normal to block the server and stop the work of sites blindly saying a non-existent reason.
And check that the balance was replenished in advance for several months.
John Constantine 2025-06-25 19:12:20
Your server will not turn on until verification is completed.
Romario Kovalskii 2025-06-25 20:42:38
You blocked the server for a fictitious reason without a good reason! On the server there are my data that need to be taken, and the money that I put in the account for future payments. I do not intend to cooperate with you in the future to go through some verifications on your side, this is stupid
John Constantine 2025-06-25 20:44:48
In this case, the server is permanently blocked.
Romario Kovalskii2025-06-25 20:57:41
In what case? On what basis and what did I violate?
