Good repair standard. Disapointed with Europcar not supplying the car requested and now claiming proposed 3 minor small scratches after collecting/ inspecting the hire car.

Would give less than one star if I could. Totally awful. Avoid at all costs. Had my vehicle recovered by them and was told they would deal with everything. They Haven't! It's been a total nightmare. Every bit of information they have given me has been incorrect. I have been trying for days to contact them and get it resolved and just keep being fobbed off and passed around. There are also hidden costs for things like storage etc if you're vehicle is recovered on a weekend. Be careful with them they are terrible.

Darren Greenwood arrived within hslf an hour when our car wouldn’t start. It was very stressful for us but he diagnosed the problem swiftly and arranged for the car to be towed to our local garage in Cornwall. He was professional and helpful and in our opinion he is the sort of person the AA need and why we will carry on with roadside assistance which we have had for about 40 years! Highly recommended.

Unsatisfied claim experience
The initial process of reporting the claim was great, really can’t fault AA there. However, the garage they used for repair damaged my vehicle and when I rang AA they didn’t want to know. The hire car was delivered promptly and was a lovely model, however, it was failed to be collected on time and instead it spent three extra days on my drive and I couldn’t use it because my hire period expired, I did not have my own vehicle back by this time and I needed a vehicle to help move my mum into her new care home. A stressful event made more stressful which resulted in ill health for myself due to the stress of being left to sort everything out myself as the AA washed their hands of me. Now I have to pay an increased annual insurance fee for the privilege of stress and my car being damaged by the repair garage and it was a proved no fault claim. I really wish I wouldn’t have bothered. I see on the repair garage reviews that there is a frequent report of lack of care towards customers cars. Maybe the AA needs to review and give the car owners a choice of garages in future? Both repair garages and the hire car companies they use need reassessing as to whether they can provide good service.
