I have recently purchased a car from the car centre and I am very happy with my experience.

Brett was very reassuring and made sure to find a reliable car that was suitable for my family and budget. The purchase was dealt with very quickly and professionally and I felt informed and secure every step of the way.

I would 100% recommend the car centre.

I was due an upgrade on my after 2 years of having my first car with them.
They went through my requirements and came back with lots if different options within budget.
Once purchased the turnaround to getting my new car was quick and easy and included a warranty with is fantastic

I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about my experience of buying a car from The Car Centre. The team are warm, helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly; transparent. There was no pressure at all for me to buy anything. Although I had a vague idea of what I was looking for, I wasn’t decided and they’ve hooked me up with the perfect car for my needs, no unnecessary overselling, no hard sales tactics, just good, old fashioned decency. They are all great - nothing is too much trouble. They’ve left me feeling as comfortable as is possible to feel when purchasing a used car, assuring me that if I were to experience problems with it, that they are available to help. Highly recommended!

I've just purchased a car from The Car Centre for the second time and I couldn't be more happier. I purchased a Citroen DS3 from this dealer and had nothing but stress, inconvenience and hassle for 8 weeks!!

DO NOT BE FOOLED by their very helpful service when you first want to purchase a vehicle, they are quick enough to take your money but as soon as there is an issue they do not want to know!

6 Days in warning lights came up for oil and coolant level, we checked this and the oil level wasn't even on the dipstick. This led us to have our own independent inspection carried out on the car by a qualified mechanic which confirmed multiple issues with the vehicle:
* Missing wheels nuts on each wheel (MOT FAILURE)
* Exhaust hanger missing
* Head gasket ready to fail - vehicle blowing out coolant

(I IMMEDIATELY stopped driving the vehicle)

After this I checked the DVLA MOT history and the vehicle originally failed its MOT on missing wheel nuts and then passed on the same day (2 days before I collected my new car from TCC). Turns out the dealer had a dodgy MOT put onto the vehicle, this was reported to the DVSA who carried out their own inspection on the vehicle and deemed it a MOT Failure and in an Unroadworthy/unsafe condition and therefore should NOT have been sold to me.

After my findings I wanted to reject the vehicle and send it back to the dealer for a full refund - which I was well within my rights to do so. I rejected the vehicle on day 16.

The consumer rights act states:
when you buy the vehicle, it has to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Within the first 30 days, if there’s a problem that means your car doesn’t meet these standards, it develops a serious fault or you find that it isn’t what was advertised to you, you can raise this with the seller and ask for your money back. In this instance, you will be entitled to a full refund

The Car Centre Northwich would not respond to us and passed our details onto there 'Legal firm'.

The legal firm (LegalSolutions4U) tried to scaremonger us quoting different acts and certain legislation which was INCORRECT to our situation.

From this point I got multiple parties involved.
- Cheshire Police
- Citizens Advice
- Trading standards
- Financial & Motoring Ombudsman
- DVSA

After weeks of getting no where and the car sat on the drive for 7 weeks I had to take Court action via a solicitor. I only got an outcome when The Car Centre Northwich and Finance company received my letter seeking court proceedings. May I also note that I have never received the V5 logbook for the vehicle from the dealer for the vehicle - this is a LEGAL requirement when selling a vehicle.

Finally after 8 weeks of stress this has now been settled and the vehicle has been returned.

I have also had correspondence from the Motoring Ombudsmen to say that the dealership are failing to respond to their calls and emails.

Some extra information about their 'Legal Firm'. Legal Solutions 4U are a company that was dissolved from a LTD Company and the owner, one of a partnership is disqualified as a company director until 2025, He was struck off from being a solicitor in 2013 and given a 2 year suspended sentence after 7 counts of fraud/Misrepresentation.

So if you ever have any dealings with LEGAL SOLUTIONS 4U take it all the way! as they just try scaremongering tactics hoping you will not pursue with the case.

I cannot stress enough how much you need to avoid this dealership, they feel like it is ok to sell a car to a young women with a 6 year old child which is a death trap! The worrying thing is the dealership 'Claimed' they had carried out all pre-sale inspections on the vehicle and knowing it failed an MOT on missing wheel nuts they still let me drive away with the car in a Extremely Dangerous Condition.

I have also since found another vehicle on their website for sale which also has missing wheel nuts on each wheel! (It is illegal to advertise or sell a vehicle with missing defects!)
