Just great customer service
Just great customer service. Very informative sales person at the store and then the nicest person who came round to measure up. I had concerns about the carpet I had chosen which he addressed. He showed me several other carpet examples and I was able to choose a better carpet for my needs. It was cheaper than the original so I was very impressed. John Lewis has done it again for me. Such great care for the customer. It’s what keeps me coming back

The FR JL SW store review
The FR JL Poole store samples were clearly marked with prices and brands and home samples provided.
A helpful male and female assisted me on a Sunday and a Thursday store visit. Michael dealt with my order. He kept me informed by mobile and email at all stages and was very helpful with any concerns. The fitters chosen by FR were good, efficient and left the area clean. They helped move furniture and were pleasant. Overall a good service.

Little gem of a shop, made choosing a floor a stress free experience.
Just had a fantastic consultation with Jess at The Floor Room within John Lewis Southampton.
The way the floors are displayed within the store is excellent, the samples are large and well lit and the large and very visible signage around the shop allows you to find exactly what you are looking for.
Jess was amazing, she was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of good advice, without being pushy. She talked us through the different types of flooring and gave us the confidence to make an informed decision on the floor we finally chose.
All in all, this is the best floor shopping experience I have ever had and it will be my go to flooring store from now on.

This company has zero interest in customer satisfaction. I ordered and paid in full for my carpet which then took nearly 3 months to arrive. Two fitting appointments came and went with no communication from The Floor Room (it was the carpet fitters who called me and also rearranged the fitting) After the second no show I rang the Floor Room and eventually they found my carpet, after I had been into the store to chase it up again finally fitted it. I rang Customer Service whilst trying to find out what was happening with my carpet and had 2 promised call backs, nothing happened. I wrote to them once my carpet had been fitted, Debbie replied saying she had escalated the complaint. I have heard nothing more. I would be interested to know if any of the people Debbie replies to on Trust Pilot ever hear from her again. I would not recommend this company.
