This site is a complete fraud. Order book. No receipt given. Contact them. Informed it's an ebook and no refund eligible even though it doesn't say this anywhere - I took multiple photos as proof. Replies are from a bot. Will be claiming off credit card and contacting trading standards.

Thought I'd ordered an actual book instead they sent me a link to a download. Looks like I'm not the only one to be scammed. Currently trying to get my money back. DO NOT USE

Do not order anything from here! This us a scam site and now having to get my bank involved to get money back. These are not books

As other people have said, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY ANYTHING ON THIS WEBSITE! I thought I was purchasing a physical book (there was no indication that it was an e-book) and after making payment received a link to download an e-book. I haven't clicked on the link just in case it's some kind of virus. This so called "company" advertises products in a deliberately misleading way.

If you've already made a payment to these people and would like a refund my advice to you is to email them informing them that if they don't refund you you will authorise your bank to raise a visa dispute and will also be contacting Trading Standards, Citizens Advice Bureau and the Police as you believe they may be trading illegally. This is what I did and after a bit of back and forth on email they refunded me. Hopefully you don't end up in a situation where you need to be demanding a refund though!

An update to my review yesterday of Global World is that the publisher got back to me and today I received a free hardback copy of the book I'd ordered. They were pleased I'd contacted them as they can report issues of digital piracy through a special portal run by the UK Publishers Association. So please don't let this unscrupulous company get away with it. Contact the publishers – they'll be pleased you did.

I have also been scammed by this company. Ordered a book and after it didn't arrive I became concerned and looked further into it - they only sell pdf copies and never hard copies. I have reported them to trading standards as have many other people judging by these reviews. They initially refused to refund me on their false product but I persisted until they agreed. Do not let this company have your money!

Scammers. Contacted my bank to stop the payment going through. Did not receive an email confirmation for my payment.

SCAM SITE!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. When ordering at no point do they give you an option for pdf or hardback! I was charged twice despite saying my transaction wasnt approved, had to contact my bank for a refund as the company refused point blank, only when i called the bank and got it started did they offer to refund me, worst company ever

A SCAM. The one time I decided to not use Amazon and try an independent and in a hurry didn't look at the reviews.

No product received, no reply from customers service, no one at the end of the contact us number.

Feel like an idiot for being duped but this site needs to be taken down ASAP.

Website gives the impression this is a ‘real’ paper book but when I bought I was sent a pdf file to download.

Tried to contact Customer Services - email and, unusually, a mobile phone number given, saying I’d not downloaded it or followed the link (many people suspect this is a virus file). No reply to either. Tried once more with same result. The least they could have done was point out my error - or their mis-guidance!

Motto is, if it’s cheaper than you think it should be, there will undoubtedly be a problem. Have you ever tried reading a large technical book on an iPhone? No point!

I ordered a booked to be delivered to a friend as a gift and received a pdf, this is not an online book store, I would definitely read the reviews next time and avoid this company, note they are not based in the UK.

This is definitely a scam. Ordered a book , payment taken, no book !! Please do not order from this site ! Will definitely do a bit of research first before ordering from any site again 😒

A scam. Ordered a physical book. Got a download which iam not prepared to open as iam suspicious it might be a virus.
Contacted them & asked for a real book to be sent. Got nothing in reply by email or phone or online form.
Read these reviews which confirmed it was a scam. So reported them to my bank. They refunded me .
Buyer Beware. This company is run from Lithuania called Tarachen on my bank statement.
I never ordered a download & iam certainly not going to follow the link they sent . Its probably a virus

TOTAL SCAM please do not use. Just like all the other reviewers I thought I was getting a proper book, was for my 8 year old granddaughters birthday. Emailed them 3 times left an answerphone message, had no response from them at all. Nothing on the website to say that it is not a proper book, would not have used them if I had known.
Now going to get in touch with my bank, citizens advice, trading standards and check with Police to see if they are trading illegally.
This firm needs shutting down before they dupe anymore people.

This company is a scam.
You buy a physical book in good faith and when it doesn't arrive they tell you you have purchased a digital pdf (probably not copyright). They do not make this clear anywhere on their site.
When you request a refund you get multiple automated replies saying the purchase is final.
Interestingly, when you inform them that you have told your bank, Citizen's Advice and Trading Standards they look into the matter and issue a cancellation. Steer well clear.

SCAM WEBSITE. I searched for a book via Google Shopping and this website came up. I bought the book assuming it was a paperback and was sent a link to a pdf. It does not state anywhere on the page or the website that the products are pdfs and not books. When I asked for a refund (I hadn’t opened the pdf link), the seller refused. Total scam, avoid at all costs, would give zero stars if that was an option. I got my money back via my bank card chargeback and sent them emails of my conversation with the seller as well as screenshots of the website in case that helps anyone else :)

Please avoid this online seller at all costs, they will take your money and deliver no goods, tried contacting them with no response so will try a chargeback to my credit card as suggested by another reviewer.
Please read other reviews, 98% of reviews equal one star for a reason.

I wish I could give no stars. I didn't read reviews before purchasing .
No book, took money for two, automated email.
