Awful company, they send standard replies to any enquiries. My mother bought 3 recipe books as a bundle and got them in a digital version but thought she was buying physical books as nothing showed that she was getting digital. She has no idea how to open these and wouldn't be able to use as recipes. They have no customer service and offer no refunds. Disgusting service

“Online book sales” does not mean e books! Very misleading, avoid at all costs!!!

Absolutely awful. I have tried to contact them and get an automated response every time. It does not state a digital book anywhere but I got sent one. I wanted a paperback which is what it had stated when I first searched for them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Scam. ebooks. Don't tell you that it's ebooks. Do not order from here as they ignore you

Ordered a Pinch of Nom Book. Didnt receieve. I checked my bank and they have taken the payment 3 times. I cant find the company on line now. Contacted bank, they are looking into they said that the bank account was linked to an Airport. Obviously a scam

Ordered a book, it wasn’t clear that this was an ebook which was misleading. I didn’t receive a confirmation email for my purchase and when queried I receive an automated response repeatedly advising that the ebook link has been emailed to me which it has not. Avoid at all costs.

I thought I was purchasing actual books but received an email saying the books can be downloaded which was not mentioned at all in the description. Have emailed to say I want a refund so will wait and see what happens. My credit card company says the transaction has gone through to a company with a different name and is in euros so the information they provide is false. This is a complete scam. Company have refused to provide a refund saying 'this sale is final'.

I purchased what I thought was a book, no book, and charged twice.

Books are advertised, NOT downloads! This company should not be allowed to do this and get away with it. Surely this is against Trading Standards. One big SCAM!

I ordered a set of three Pinch of Nom. When they didn't arrive I found these reviews and realised id bought eBooks. Disappointed. They did download after a couple of attempts. Global World would do themselves a favour by making it clear they are eBooks. They say they sell online books and label books as being "in stock" which i feel makes shopper feel it is an actual hard copy book.

I wish I had found these reviews before. There should be able to leave reviews on the actual site for the books. I made an order about the 7th June maybe a day or two give or take. I complained after 2 weeks asking where the books are, waiting for them to come in the post. I got a message back saying I have ordered digital downloads. So I went into my emails and looked for this email. I had to search all mail as it wasn't in my inbox and couldn't find it anywhere else. I found a order confirmation email with a link for the downloads of the 3 books set. And OMG! How unprofessional are they half of one side of the recipes were missing. I have sent other emails complaining and never heard a thing back. So I think I will try and go to my bank and see if there is anything they can do and get money back. There is nowhere that's states its digitalised. If I knew they were digitalised I would never have ordered them. On my
Bank statement it comes up as Tarachen Lithuania. If I could leave photos I would.

0 stars, have just gone on to check why I haven't received a book and found these reviews so now know the book is not coming! Can't ser any contact details on the email confirmation. What should i do?

This company is quite clearly a scam operation and would not recommend buying anything off them. I ordered a book, heard absolutely nothing and have wasted too much time emailing and leaving messages which have all disappeared into a Global World shaped black hole. I have now written my money off.

Same as everyone else....total scam. I was tricked as didn't know it would be a digital book but even once I accepted that I find one of the digital books are unreadable. Asked for a corrected version, denied and then asked for money back and to speak to a manager, continuously denied.

SCAM. I fell for it too. Thought I was ordering a physical book. Absolutely nowhere does it say that the books are digital. Tried contacting the website and they said I can't have a refund. Will also be reporting to Trading Standards.

Same experience as everyone else. Ordered Pinch of Nom thinking it was a proper book, awaited delivery, 2 days later there is a link for a download. I have emailed to complain and ask for money back but have been ignored.

One star as I can’t give zero. Nowhere did it say it was a digital book. Customer service rude or non existent. Waste of money. I have reported them to the publisher of the book and trading standards.

Oh dear!!! I too have fallen for this scam. I too also wished I’d read the reviews before ordering.
I Can’t even read the downloaded copy as Half the ingredients are missing!!! Gutted!!! I didn’t think it was a scam as the books aren’t that much cheaper in the shops. Just wanted all 3 books in the series and presumed it was the usual ‘cheaper by the dozen’ kind of deal!! Scamming thieves!
