Heritage Doors have been excellent to deal with far exceeded all my expectations. The quality of the doors I ordered were exceptional, and they arrived so quickly. But main reason for giving such a glowing review was their customer service. I had order a different door (by mistake) and they noticed this and called me to check this was correct. They then fixed the order and shipped out the correct door.

Excellent company 🙏🌟

Thank you for your feedback.
We believe this review may have been posted against the wrong company.
We would like to clarify that Heritage Doors & Floors Ltd was the manufacturer of the doors only. The purchase and delivery were handled by a third-party retailer from whom you purchased and communicated with to resolve the issue.
Following transit damage caused by the courier, we remanufactured all six doors to assist with a resolution. Prior to the replacements being supplied, the order with the retailer was cancelled, at which point our involvement ended.
We take quality concerns seriously and would welcome direct contact should you wish to discuss any manufacturing matters.

Refund refused after faulty door – only reimbursed by bank via Section 75

We ordered a bespoke front door from this company and unfortunately had a very poor experience throughout.

The door was delivered around four weeks later than promised, due to what the company said was a machine breakdown. We were only informed of the delay at the expected delivery time, but we decided to wait patiently rather than put pressure on them.
When the door finally arrived, it was not made to the agreed specification. When we raised this, the company was responsive but evasive, at first implying that we had measured incorrectly rather than explaining the door’s actual construction.

After continued discussion, the company acknowledged a manufacturing error and offered either a repair or refund. We chose the refund option, and the door was collected on that basis. However, following the collection, the company failed to issue the refund and instead tried to insist on carrying out a repair.

From the time they agreed to the refund to their eventual refusal, about a month passed, during which nothing was resolved. This delay made us lose confidence that any repair would be handled properly or promptly. It also made us suspect that the prolonged process might have been intended to push us beyond the normal chargeback period.

Fortunately, we had paid by credit card, which allowed us to make a Section 75 claim under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and recover our money — even though the standard chargeback period might have passed. The refund came from our bank, not from the company, which never honoured its own promise to do so.

We were patient and reasonable throughout, but sadly cannot recommend this company based on our experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry that your experience didn’t meet expectations, especially with a bespoke product that should have been a source of pride and satisfaction.
The delay in delivery was due to a major breakdown in our CNC machinery, which unfortunately coincided with your initial delivery enquiry. At that moment, we were still assessing the extent of the issue. As soon as we understood the full impact, we notified all affected customers — including yourself — and worked to resolve the backlog as quickly as possible.
Regarding the construction of the door: the bolection moulding was rebated over the face of the rails and fitted onto the panels. This is a standard process in traditional joinery, but we acknowledge that in this case, it resulted in the visible face of the rails being smaller than you had expected. Once this was identified, we offered a straightforward solution — to remove and replace the mouldings — and arranged for the door to be collected for remedial work.
However, after the door arrived back with us, we were informed that a chargeback had been initiated. At that point, we were still committed to resolving the issue, but communication became difficult. Despite our efforts to find a resolution, it became clear that trust had broken down and you were no longer willing to work with us.
We regret that our attempts to repair the situation weren’t enough to restore confidence. While we strive to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and service, we accept that in this instance, we fell short. Your feedback is valuable.

Great Service

Great Service. Caring follow up. Great product

Delivery could be better. No ringing of doorbell ( We were in ) and bottom of the package was very wet . Package left on damp doorstep which could have been a disaster. However fortunately it had not soaked through to the wooden shelf.

Excellent yet again!

Brilliant efficient ordering and delivery.
Our joiner says the quality is excellent.
The doors have really lifted the house and given it back some of its character ripped out in the 70s.
