Order took much longer than expected but helpful staff sorted it out when I was told by courier delivery would be another 10 days. Ordered two oak doors of the middle grade timber. One was beautiful the other was terrible quality. Had no time to return as was for a client. Filled with yellow filler that took forever to sand out. 3 holes where a handle had obvs been fitted previously also filled. Looked terrible and would not use again

Ordered 2 doors. Really quick. 1 came with rough edge at end of one plank. Called up and sent photo. Replacement sent and dodgy door picked up. Couldn't believe how efficient everything was. This was just after lockdown one, when everyone and everything was all over the place, so to do all this within the week was amazing. Ordered a third door last month and it was great and quick too. The ironmongery latch is quality. Lovely sound and feel.

Bought an oak radiator shelf from Heritage Doors & Floors recently. It arrived promptly and is really good quality. A beautiful piece of solid French oak. Easy to fit the supporting brackets. It looks very nice. I will probably be ordering another one. Not cheap, but highly recommended.

Ordered stainless steel spindles and stainless newel caps, after searching far and wide for these items Heritage stepped up to the mark and supplied both.

Good quality goods, items as advertised, easy to cut with a good mitre saw and tct blade.

Due to the delicate finish of items they were wrapped accordingly affording them protection when in transit.

The stainless steel spindles and newel caps give an outstanding finish to an oak staircase. Expensive piece of kit, but well worth it when you see finished item, if you want quality and a finish your friends will be envious of, pay for it. Get someone with a creative and innovative mind to fit balustrades and you wont be disappointed.

I purchased a under stair cupboard oak style door it was in good shape when it arrived well packed for transport.
It arrived on time the customers service was excellent, I would recommend this company if you require a special door for any home projects as trying to get a joiner to organise a door just was not happening.

I ordered a ledged and braced solid oak door, it arrived promptly adequately wrapped for transport.
The door was stored in my garage for 2 months before the carpenter was ready to install it. When he unwrapped it he pointed out that the T&G joints had opened up quite wide to about 4-5mm. Checking online it appears the standard should be 1mm. As a person with more than 50 years working with timber it is clear to me the timber used must have had excessively high moisture content which reduced over the 2 months of storage resulting in the boards shrinking and the gaps forming.
I contacted Heritage Doors pointing out what I consider to be a defective item due to using substandard material, ie inadequately seasoned timber.
First response was that no complaints would be entertained beyond the 24-48 hours after delivery and that the gaps were normal expansion joints.
I wrote again pointing out the difference between 1mm – acceptable expansion joint, and wider joints due to the timber shrinking. I also pointed out that the timber might continue drying further and the gaps widen further. The response was again that the gaps are normal expansion joints and the timber is kiln dried. The fact that it is kiln dried doesn’t guarantee that the moisture content has been brought down to the correct level or that it hasn’t risen again if badly stored.
If I bought from this company again I would buy a timber moisture meter and check moisture content on receipt which should be no more than 14%.

I purchased barn doors and I am very unhappy with the way the braces were affixed to them.

They are covered in multiple nail holes, which are ugly and carelessly applied and ruin the look of what were very expensive doors.

I called them to raise the issue but they offered zero solutions. I do need more doors to be made up but will avoid this company at all costs.

I ordered three oak doors for a barn conversion. I was very pleased with them and will suit the property. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery from date of order. Also they came very well packaged. I will be using. The Heritage Collection for other projects in the future.
