They were very pleasant and professional to deal with over the phone and email to arrange the move. On the day of the move, two vans and five men turned up at the time said. They were friendly, hard working and very good at what they do. Everything was wrapped excellently and transported with care.

I had a fantastic experience with this company and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I hadn't moved in 34 years and was doing so from a big family house to a small modern one, just for me. Huge amounts of stuff to sort out, huge amounts of emotional baggage to get over and a huge amount of delay and hassle getting to moving day.I was really excited to be going and in despair at the prospect of packing. I just wanted a lovely smooth move on the day and I wanted really nice removal men!
Barry came to give me an estimate and inspired confidence from the outset.He asked loads of questions about what was going/staying/being chucked. He noticed things I had never even thought about and got a definitive plan of everything that was going. I opted to pack up the house myself and they sell a brilliant range of boxes perfect for everything from clothes to books and lamps.
When the great day came I was panicking as i was slightly unprepared with things still not in boxes.But the minute the crew led by Billy came through the door I knew I was in safe and totally professional hands. I had found my nice removal men.
They effortlessly emptied the house of the big but easy stuff like beds and sofas, the boxes that I had packed and then really got to grips with all the stuff I had somehow not noticed I needed to pack. Fuelled only by tea and chocolate biscuits they made total order of my rather chaotic approach, organised my son who was helping, cheered me up when I just thought i was never going to get out of the house and just kept me going.
When we got to the new house they miraculously fitted everything in a house half the size, put everything where I wanted it and left me neat stacks of boxes for me to unpack. The first of what i know will be lots of happy memories of this house was me and the crew standing on the balcony to my bedroom in the attic, gazing out at my new street and Billy saying with the air of an expert " this is a really good place". ( I think that's what he said he is very Glaswegian!)
They have come back twice since then- to move some sofas into storage amd to move my sons in to a flat with their beds etc. It was like greeting old friends!
As to the more conventional stuff- their quote was the cheapest, nothing got broken, nothing got lost,nothing got damaged by the moving, they are incredible at getting big things into small spaces and totally frank about what can and cannot be done. They are scrupulous at pointing out things that are already damaged so you both know after the move that the wonky chair leg or the scratched surface was aleady there. No room for misunderstanding
Their storage facilities are very good, very reasonable and they are incredibly helpful.
It's just a shame one doesn't move more often.

We used the London Removal Company to move from London to Newcastle, and they were amazing. Moving our home 280 miles during a pandemic was pretty stressful, but Barry was a reassuring presence throughout. The team were nothing but professional, did the job in record time, and got us moved without a hitch. We're so grateful, they took all of the stress out of it and didn't complain once, despite moving everything we owned down from a third floor flat with no lift. They were significantly cheaper than all of the other quotes we got too!

I have used the London Removal Company twice for my office move and both times the service was excellent, very well organised and punctual. CEO Barry has a great team and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Good, reliable service isn't easy to find but these guys do deliver - literally!!!

Barry and his team were absolutely amazing! We had a challenging move which meant they had to return a few times. They were super-professional, honest, reliable and good humoured. Testament to the company many of the 'boys' had worked there for years, which is always a good sign. Our move could have been horrendous and I was dreading it. However, thanks to Barry and his team it went more smoothly than I could have anticipated. Highly recommend.

We ordered some boxes from The Moving Box (very good service) who seem to be part of the London Removal Company. They suggested we contacted the LRC for a quote for removals, which we did. They surveyed the house, agreed to send the quote the same day and to contact the Moving Box on our behalf. Never heard another word!

On the 22nd November 2019 we used The London Removal Company to transport all our belongings to our new address in Coulsdon. We were very impressed with the services they provide to us, the removal men especially Chris and Pabello they make the moving so stressed free for us. I would also like to thanked Julie and Barry for putting up with us when we keep asking them to deliver more and more boxes and packaging etc.,

We would certainly recommend this company to friends and family.

The removal and packing service itself was fine.

However, a number of items were broken and damaged during the move (I have since found further broken items but after the 7 day window to claim had closed).

While this is clearly a risk of moving, its frustrating that I have been forced to chase both the removals company and their insurers for over 3 months and have only just received a response. And in that response, they falsely state that I packed the items myself. Making it my word against theirs.

So these are the guys for you… (if you don’t mind them breaking your stuff, you don’t mind spending your time chasing up emails, you don’t mind having them claim its your fault anyway and then offering you a derisory settlement).

Adding a response to their reply (I've also amended my rating accordingly):
1) I don't contradict myself. I deliberately used the word "fine" rather than good or excellent which I would have used instead had nothing been broken. Accidents happen so "fine" seemed appropriate.
2) Obviously I wouldn't blame you if I broke something after 7 days. What happened was I was unable to unpack everything within the 7 day period and only discovered 2 further breakages after this had elapsed. I accept it sits outside the claim window but it seemed relevant to my description of your service.
3) On many occasions I chased the insurance company, they told me they were waiting for more information from you. Regardless of where the delay sat, its your choice of insurer and part of the service you deliver.
4) I accept I didn't pay for the extra insurance and therefore any item is capped at £50. While the offer for one of the items (at £32) is fair, you are refusing to pay £50 towards the other item as you falsely claim I packed it.

A really friendly and efficient team, making the whole process stress free and enjoyable.

I have used this service 6 times over the past 10 years and I am always happy to go back. They are friendly, efficient, careful and trustworthy. Also great value for money. I would recommend them to anyone. The team are so lovely, please reward them with lots of tea.

I found the whole process went absolutely smoothly because of the people who moved me, Billy, John and Pablo (don’t think I have spelt his name correctly). They were absolutely super - trustworthy, kind, hardworking and above all fun. Moving is an extremely stressful experience but with people like this, it helps enormously. Thank you. I would certainly recommend your company in the future and hopefully the same team can move me into my new property when my possessions come out of storage.
