I was experiencing a whole lot of menopause symptoms which was bad enough but then low sex drive also. I spoke to Emma Sloan and she explained a lot of the reasons for my symptoms in a very friendly calm way, I trusted her immediately and almost forgot she was a doctor, she felt like a friend at the end of my session. She prescribed testosterone to complement the patches I was using, and after a little while I felt so well and actually felt better than I had for several years. I would not hesitate to recommend Emma and the hormone centre to anyone needing help from somebody with a real knowledge of women's hormones and treatments Excellent experience, I'm truly grateful, life changing really.

After over a year waiting for an NHS menopause clinic appt I researched private clinics in my area. I made enquiries with Dr Emma Sloan at the McIndoe Centre, and received useful information immediately and an appointment 2 weeks later.

The consultation was extremely thorough and I felt that every aspect was evaluated. I left feeling empowered, listened to and with an appropriate HRT regime.
Dr Sloan also updated my GP with details of the consultation and medication changes.
There was a follow up email from Dr Sloan 3 months after, with the opportunity for further tests if required.
The whole experience has been outstanding, with such a positive impact on my health and well-being.
I cannot thank Dr Sloan enough for her expertise, care and compassion, and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone requiring this service.

I attended the McIndoe Centre for a double cataract operation under Damian Lake. The service received was excellent from start to finish. The nursing staff were truly empathetic, I was kept informed every step of the way, and the surroundings were very comfortable. The operation was a great success!

Dr Emma Sloan was recommended by a friend and she has help both of us regain balance and control over our hormones during perimenopause, her consulting skill is kind, informed and supportive. With the help and support of the centre I have been able to move forward through the menopause . I have felt listened to and held at every stage from the initial appointment to prescription advice and follow ups. I cannot recommend Dr Emma Sloan enough. I’m experiencing a difficult peri menopause & Emma gave me the time I needed to discuss my symptoms & was reassuring. She’s very knowledgeable on up to date guidance & treatment regimes. Her written summary arrived promptly & I feel I’ve found a practitioner who is both sympathetic, compassionate & professional. My initial consultation was online but it worked well & I felt Emma listened & I had no problem with the online service.

I had a consultation with Dr Emma Sloan at the McIndoe Centre at The Hormone Centre clinic. I have been experiencing ongoing perimenopausal issues and I wanted to see a specialist that understood what I was going through and help me out the other side of this difficult time.
Dr Emma was professional but really welcoming. She listened to me and talked things through really thoroughly, making it so much easier to understand. I am 4 weeks post op with Mr Oliver Harley. I had a breast uplift, tummy tuck, muscle repair and mons lift. I am so happy with my results. He listened to what I wanted and was realistic and honest. After speaking with 10 other surgeons, Mr Harley seemed like the only surgeon who was interested in my welfare and what I wanted, rather than just lining his pocket with money. He advised me not to have implants, and Siri my 6 week wait from my consultation to surgery date, I had many occasions where I almost cancelled due to nerves. I kept questioning if I wanted implants. I decided to trust his opinion and went for the surgery without implants, and I’m so glad I listened.

The care at the hospital has been amazing, they have always been very thorough and quick, never had to wait and always had someone to speak to when needed. The staff are friendly, the hospital is immaculately clean, and the food is lovely. Doctor Tom has been amazing with a few little issues I have had after surgery, (not my surgeons fault) just how my body had reacted, and has always seen me any time of day and has always been very caring and nothing has been too much trouble for him. The nurses are lovely, especially sandy and jessie.

If you’re looking for a private hospital, you won’t be disappointed with the mcindoe centre. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey to getting my new body, I cannot thank you all enough.

Your warm welcome, patience and professionalism, kindness and helpfulness as soon as I walked in the door made me feel relief, calmer and so so much better fro the get go and it only got better from there. I had a private elective surgery with Tania Cubison and the entire process was everything I could’ve expected and more. She (and her team - assistant and nurses) were amazing with my care, I’m so happy I chose the McIndoe Centre!

I recently had a mole removed. My GP referred me to the McIndoe Centre. I was seen within one week of being referred.
The treatment I received was first class. Efficient, painless, and no problems with the wound. Highly recommend.

Everyone was so lovely & I was looked after by all the staff, especially my nurse Claire. I had 3 wisdom teeth so I was in a lot of pain but Claire made me as comfortable as the could. I was reassured by everyone throughout the process as well.

Excellent service from start to finish. Made the experience of a hospital visit welcomingly pleasant. I would recomment as a great choice for any appropriate medical treatment.

As I entered McIndoe the staff on reception were friendly and professional. I was Shen to my room and seen straight away by the nursing staff. James was looking after me and he was great. I was seen by Mr. Pickford and then the anaesthetist who explained the procedure to me. Everyone was fantastic.
