OK as though speaking to a friend, i found TheMicStore while searching for some audio equipment, and from pricing, placing my order through to delivery has been a pleasant experience, even though they had a slight problem with suppliers they went out of their way to fulfill my order.
Their customer service is also without a doubt above and beyond any i have seen ( I keep asking them stuff and they haven't told me to go away yet) and would recommend the company to anyone.

Not necessarily the cheapest but I don't mind paying a little extra if I feel I can trust the company involved. I bought an ART valve preamp and, touch wood, it seems to be working well. What was great was being able to talk to the same voice on three occasions instead of having to explain myself again and again.

Acting for a charitable organisation where accuracy over spending is essential I found it extremely easy working with this company and particularly chatting on line with Liam. one small criticism was that the goods arrived at my neighbour's home (I was not at home) some fifteen minutes before the e mail advising that the goods were in transit.

I wasn't expecting too much from this mic system due to the low price, but have been very surprised by its performance. Good clear reproduction of the voice, good range, and well engineered.

Excellent speedy service

I ordered an item on 18 February which on their website gave no indication of being out of stock. The money was taken from my bank account on the same day.

10 days later it has not been delivered. Two emails have not been answered and repeated telephone calls are met with "this mailbox is full". Their other line directs you to wait and nothing then happens.

This is abysmal service. Very strongly suggest anyone thinks twice before ordering from The MicStore.

Bought a shock mount from here that was cheaper than anywhere else, though unfortunately Amazon undercut them about 2 days later, however as the transaction was so smooth and delivery fast i didn't mind the fact I paid a bit extra.

The delivery didn't arrive when expected, but it was still not an unacceptably long wait. There was a fair bit of feedback on the recordings, so an extra adapter was required (stereo to mono), which we picked up from Maplins. Thanks all!

from 1st contact to receiving the goods I couldn't be happier. very friendly and knowledgeable staff on the phone. very efficient handling of order and goods arrived bang on time. seems increasingly rare these days to deal with a supplier that delivers exactly what they promise. top job guys!
