I was a bit worried after ordering as I read some bad reviews (obviously made by disgruntled customers that want to give a bad a review because of mistakes they made) that made me think the company might not be reputable, but all was good.

Exactly what I wanted . Received when wanted . Will definitely use again .

I needed to purchase a couple of channel 38 wireless microphones to replace my old channel 69 ones . The gentleman I spoke to at The Micstore was very helpful and although the kits I was looking for were not actually in stock they were obtained and dispatched to me within a couple of days.

Needed a mike for occasional speakers to address groups of elderly ladies-up to 80 at a time. The problem we had was that many of our speakers were not able to use hand held mikes effectively. We considered a lapel mike but that entailed a belt pack and there were feedback problems. The micstore staff listened to me patiently and suggested that the Samson mike which clips around the ear and has a built in transmitter would suit our speakers better. Brilliant-it works very well.

With the plethora of microphone and recording equipment available, establishing what was relevant to my needs was quite a task. A single call to Matt at the Mic Store set me on the right road. A follow-up by both Matt and Shed helped me to come to a confident decision about the equipment I eventually purchased.
I could easily have purchased equipment with too high a specification for my needs, if I beleived the marketing hype.

I was looking for a decent microphone to fit onto my Sony Handycam so that we could not only get a good picture but good sound too of our Band "Cold Sweat" while we gigged, the idea being that if we could acheive the sound quality as well as the picture quality we could put decent clips of ourselves onto Youtube and Facebook. Then maybe we can get more gigs! I am more than happy with the Rode Videomic that I purchased for a very reasonable price.

I needed a specific type of microphone, and to be able to explain to an expert my special needs, I was well satisfied with the product I was able to buy.

New wireless mic kit dispatched and delivered promptly but alas did not work. Posted on website for return . Heard nothing for couple of days so phoned and was told that person who deals with returns not at desk but would be informed when they came back. Still nothing. Was needing mic for show this weekend so had to hire in.
Not happy.
