Fees quoted and fees charged are…

Fees quoted and fees charged are completely different. Then they keep sending you emails requesting invoices even wen completion statement is share.

All I can say is thieves in disguise. Just offer you a cheaper quote then up the price under hand

Beware of this company - they will keep your money.

This company is in breach of its own terms and conditions. My transaction was cancelled by there solicitor who said she was unable to proceed with the transaction. After this I asked for a full refund as they had cancelled, not me but they refused and said they will keep my money as a credit and not give me a refund. Beware of this company as they are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act and also in breach of contract and I will be taking them to the small claims court. They also do not return your class once you have paid.

Avoid PCS Legal if referred!!

Avoid PCS Legal at ALL costs if your conveyancing is referred to them. They are extremely unorganised, inefficient and caused immense stress over 5 months for a straightforward and short chain. The deal almost fell through on numerous occassion and I don't want anyone to go through the horrendous experience I've had with PCS Legal. The movinghub should seriously consider keeping them as their partner as it will damage their own reputation.

Despite many calls to movinghub they were unable to successfully resolve the issue until it reached a critical point. The matter was finally escalated to Ian (MD) who was amazing and straight away got onto the phone with senior members at PCS numerous times to stop my purchase from falling through on the last day.

Without Ian, I would have rated them 1 star. Given my unpleasant overall experience, I probably would not use them again.

I also used them for property survey (Goldcrest surveyors) who okay.

Be aware of additional fees.

I received what I thought was a competitive quote and handed over £120 to instruct the firm. As I began completing the forms, I found there was an additional charge of £20 plus VAT for tracking the progress online, £50 plus VAT for ‘no fee, no completion’ and many, many other additional fees. I requested a full refund well within the 14 day cooling off period. I was informed that, because work had begun on my file, a total of £29 was all I would be refunded. So I am £91 out of pocket.
My advice would be not to believe a quote from this company as it is likely to be double their estimate once the work begins. Avoid this company!

do not use not fixed fee

Don’t be fooled by fixed fee quote.
We accepted a ‘fixed fee’ quote for the purchase of our new property and sale of our existing. All questions answered correctly to obtain this quote now they have started working it has doubled in price! Everything is an unforeseen extra at £150 plus VAT so no fixed fee at all.

Lies and false promises.

They promise a money back Guarantee if your sale falls through but if the sale falls through because of professional negligence of them and their solicitor they completely ignore you and keep your money.

The service These and PM Law provided has been nothing short of despicable with rudeness, bullying and outright lies.

Our house sale fell through as a result of these guys and their solicitors and jeopardised our purchase as a result. On inspection it seems their promises are false as well as their 5* reviews.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, the Moving hub referred me to Collingbourne Hennah law ( Henna Haywood) to purchase a property. It took seven months and I lost the property to another buyer. Because there were slow, no communications and didn’t take phone calls.
The moving hub was not helpful despite that they referred me, avoid this company.

False advertising: be careful

I used the moving hub as I had a good previous encounter. I was purchasing two properties via limited company. They advised Collingbourne Hennah Law (No Hennah Haywood Law). The referral was terrible. Very poor customer service which resulted in me losing ALOT of money. The moving hub had issues contact them. Unsure why they make such recommendations.

The Quote I had from moving hub was not honoured. I raised a fee discrepancy complaint, but this has not been handled appropriately. The moving hub should have paid me the difference. Of the 2 property 1 property fell through and I should have received a refund for this but did not get this either.

Thank you for your help moving Hub,I've just completed before stamp duty.
The staff at moving Hub was very helpful when I could not make contact with my solicitor over the busy september.stamp duty. They was more than happy to help me as I didn't have time to wait and stay on hold. This is my first purchase property, I had very bad anxiety as i had never brought a house so didn't know what I had to do what it meant. I have now completed and finally a home owner.

The moving hub pay for 5* reviews

Be wary of their 5* reviews - they offer customers a £15 M&S voucher for 5* reviews!

This company put me in touch with a solicitor whom I instructed solely because they told me they could provide an expedited service. After 10 days of hearing NOTHING and having phone calls and emails ignored, I contacted themovinghub for a refund. They have so far refused to provide one stating that they have "lost" details of me contacting them, despite me providing evidence to the contrary.

Money for nothing AVOID!

Money for nothing AVOID!
‘Forced’ into using them via small print in online estate agent and they took large deposit to basically do id checks and introduce me to the worlds worst solicitor and that was that! Never replied to emails after that and did absolutely nothing. All part of a conveyancing scam.
