Moving my cash ISA

I wanted to move my cash ISA to the Nottingham as I already had a savings account there and was happy being able to go into a branch.After a couple of issues (by my existing account holder) the process went smoothly.The staff in the Sheffield office were excellent.

Friendly staff

I went in to open a new ISA account and this was done quickly and easily. The terms of the account were explained and I was given a cup of tea as well.

I wanted to open a branch ISA and am…

I wanted to open a branch ISA and am temporarily unable to go in because of mobility issues. I talked over the phone and the person I spoke to was very helpful. I had a form sent by post that I returned, some of which had been filled in for me. I now have my pass book and I am very impressed by the service.

A meeting was arranged with a member of…

A meeting was arranged with a member of staff despite me not having an appointment. All staff were friendly and helpful. The customer assistant was very knowledgeable about the product that I wanted, this was an Allowance ISA. My personal details were confirmed and my application for the ISA was quickly completed. An information pack about the ISA was provided together with a Passbook for the ISA account. Details about how to register the new account with Nottingham Building Society and how to transfer funds were explained. The service provided was quick and efficient. I entered the Grantham Branch at about 4.00pm and left at around 4.30pm with the account for the ISA I wanted opened and ready to receive my first payment. I would recommend the Nottingham Building Society to anyone wishing to open a savings product.

"Visit to Dereham" The staff were very helpful and…

The staff were very helpful and informative. Visiting the office I had travelled quite a distance to attend in person. The staff were aware of this and slowly but surely took me through the process of changing about five accounts/updating them. Carefully explaining each step.

Easy to Navigate and set up.

Easy to Navigate to the account type wanted.
Signing up was no more challenging than for any other UK savings account.
The rate offered for easy access was competitive hence I went for it!
Once done, the confirmation was swift and the ability to transfer strait forward.
I’m entirely satisfied with the interaction thus far.
