I have contacted them multiple times over the past month ( via chat ) requesting a quote to settle the loan early. They are unable to help because of some "issues" on their end. Well, this isn't really my problem is it? They told me to call them instead... well i did try, nobody picking the phone!
From the loan agreement:
"Pursuant to Section 94 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, You have a right to repay the loan early at any time in full or in part."
Since i am bying denied the right to repay it early and therfore lose money because now i have to pay more... I am going to contact trading standards. I will also leave the very same review on every possible review site i can find them on. People need to be aware of how they treat their customers!
Charged £5 for a call that lasted less than 2mins for a number, did not even get a number, recieved no help at all in fact, and charged a ridiculous amount of money for a short call on 118118, no warnings about how much this would cost, its a big scam, don't ever call 118118 for a number, I won't ever use this service again.
I was told on my credit file 100% guaranteed a credit card I applied and got turned down
£13.29 for a call 1 min 54 sec call to 118 for a telephone number to a business which they could not find.. biggest waste of money!!.
Why does one trustpilot give excellent reviews and another trustpilot gives bad reviews The reviews were exactly what I was expecting thank God I looked at the reviews 1 star bad I believe I won't be dealing with them thank you for an honest inasight to this company trustpilot
Charging over £11 to get a number, these are exploiting people, avoid
Trying to sort out my son's Phone Bill I found he had used this company for finding a phone number, 1st call to them lasted 45 seconds and the charged £9.10, they gave him the wrong number, 2nd call to them lasted 51 seconds and they gave him the wrong number again and again charged £9. 10, 3rd call to them and they gave him again the 1st wrong number the had given him and again the charged £9.10 luckily by this time he realised how useless they were and didnt phone back. So it cost him £27.30 for 3 wrong numbers, on top of that to add insult to injury BT also charged him 3 times for using 118 118. What a complete shocking Rip Off, By the way just what does OfCom do?
84 year old mother charged £29.00 for a 6 min call .At least Turpin was descent enough to wear a mask .
absolute rip off. I made a enquiry just over 1min and got charged £12 and the number was unlisted....
I am disgusted. I honestly don’t exactly know how to put this all into words, I’ll have to be short. For the duration of my call, which was less that a minute long, I was consistently reminded to hurry up with what I was saying, now only do I realise why. £9.79 was how much I was charged. That is COMPLETELY INHUMANE. Oh, and to top it all off, after being told by the woman on the phone that I would be sent a text with the answer to the question (the reason I called), it never came. A few months later, I still have no text. For £9.79.
I actually feel completely abused by this and it has caused me to feel very upset. And all I’m going to get back is “Were very sorry, we are always looking for ways to improve.”
I want to be refunded immediately. In fact, every day that goes by that I don’t have that money back in my bank, I will ensure this review is posted somewhere else.
Seriously, how is it even legal for a call lasting 1 minute & 4 seconds to get a phone number for my local post office to cost £9.87?! Just glad I didn't get them to connect me aswell.
I guess when people read these reviews it's already too late & 118118 are laughing all the way to the bank.
Absolutely STUNNED !
NEVER call this number ! I needed to speak to local police after an accident. My bill for this short call was £62.00.
No indication of how expensive this call would be.
You are thieves and should be BANNED !
Terrible shock as just been charged over £11 for a call lasting just under 2 minutes. I had no idea that the cost was so high. Won't be making that mistake again.
Never ever call this number! Just been charged £60.22 for a call someone made via these clowns. Do you think sane people would commit to this nonsense? This charging structure and it's lack of transparency needs to be outlawed.
Absolutely horrendous. £11.44 for one number and wasn't even connected. They keep you on the phone for as long as possible pretending to be useful. To top it off the number was incorrect so complete waste of time!!
Discusting , they should be arrested for extortion. How can companies like this get away with ripping people off?
