This has been a nightmare

This has been a nightmare. I barely have enough to survive on and with the current covid Saga, I decided to use this gift card that I had been saving for months now. I used a little on it and a few days later I realized that there was no more money left (being at the cash register and a long line behind me, it was so humiliating).
On checking my balance, I saw that there had been an unauthorized transaction in another country(USA) at a walmart and about 2 PayPal transactions. They left me with nothing.
I now have to wait for 10 days to see if the transactions go through before actually filing a dispute( said the customer representative)which only God knows how long that would be.

Arrghhhh DO NOT BUY.. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS and save yourself a world of trouble.

I'm so close to crying right now.

False advertising (text on card says…

False advertising (text on card says "funds never expire").

They take money back for "activation" but do not make it clear that "activation" happens when the gift-giver purchases the card, not when the receiver chooses to use the card. On top of this outrageously high "activation" fee - clawing back 15.8% on a $25 card, 9.9% on a $50 card - they then charge a monthly "maintenance fee" (I guess to pay all of those worker who have to spend time "maintaining" you card???)

This company must be making billions off the backs of unsuspecting consumers. These policies show nothing more than contempt for their customers.

I am so appalled, I am cancelling my regular Visa card. This company is predatory - gouging customers and offering nothing in the way of service. Shame on you.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. Maintenance fees; what's the point of an expiration date then. Then remaining fees compromised after registering and dispute process is complicated and useless. DO NOT BUY

The worst card / gift ever!!

The worst card / gift ever!!! Do not buy this card!!.
The card was compromised as soon as I activated it. Then it took 3 weeks to recieve a replacement card. Now they are saying they have to open a case so that the funds could be put back on to the card, which could take 60 days.
Save yourself the headache DO NOT BUY THIS CARD!!! The perfect gift??? My As$

Unable to Contact - Via Email or Phone. Terrible Service.

You cannot contact ANYONE through the number they provide, it just reiterates and directs back to the website to PRINT AND FILL OUT AND MAIL OR FAX a dispute form.
Unauthorized payments from PayPal have been an absolute NIGHTMARE. You cant cancel the card or else they cannot reissue your money back to you, but if you dont cancel the card, you can risk losing the rest of your balance. It has been DAYS since this has happened and I have sent 3 emails with zero response. I have only been able to contact PayPal (which I had to sign up for since you cannot contact them without having an account). SUCH A PAIN!

Not a Perfect Gift!

While the customer service is good, there are two issues one needs to be aware of:
1. Card swipes mostly don't work. At every location I had had to try it multiple times and mostly it didn't work even after multiple tries.

2. Even though there is an initial activation fee, there is another maintenance fee as well (that starts one year after activation) - which, for my card was 72% of the card value ($3 per month on a $50 card)! I'm not saying there shouldn't be any, but 72% is horrendous!

1 and 2 above combined make it very less desirable, e.g. in my case, the swipes didn't work a few times after activation, and then I went on a long vacation and surprise, after four months, $12 were gone!
