I ordered a rug from their website that clearly stated they had 5 in stock and received email confirmation. A day later they emailed me to advice, as I should be aware the rug is not available and they will keep me payment and ship in June. After much back and forth, whilst they still had my money. They finally agreed there was an error on their website and refunded my money. Be careful using this company as there website is not updated and they seem to think they can keep your money whilst delaying email responses.

Their response is totally incorrect. I have screenshots evidencing the website stated they had a number of these rugs in stock.

I called the Rug Shop to request a quote for cleaning which was promptly emailed to me and was told that someone would get back to me regarding collection. Noone did. I rang again a week later and, after some searching, a sales assistant found the email and said someone would get back to me. A collection date was then agreed, confirmed by email and I arranged my day to be at home for the 3 hour time slot they requested. Noone contacted me and noone turned up. They may be great sales people but their after care service is chaotic, slovenly and I would avoid them.

The Rug Shop has subsequently replied asking me for an order number. If they check their sales Inbox they will see that in two different emails sent by separate members of staff, they accepted a cleaning request and provided a quote but did not include an order number. The reply also stated that they are not a company that provides a cleaning service. In that case why did they provide a quote both on the phone and then in writing? The service they provide is of course up to them but I think you can deduce from my previous comments that I would not trust them to do what they say.

The company website states that they offer a 'comprehensive restoration and cleaning service'. That contradicts their reply to my post.

Prompt service. We knew what time the rug would be delivered. The rug looks beautiful and was much cheaper than from other suppliers.

Ordered large rug. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Rug was beautiful however sadly did not suit my decor as I expected. Company contacted and arranged return without fuss. I had to pay for courier return which I expected as my choice. Great company to deal with. I will use again and recommend them.

Still waiting for my rug!
So, my rug was attempted to be delivered without advising me, as I was not home I was advised it would be redelivered next day. This did not happen. I called customer services to be told it would be delivered the following day and someone would advise a time slot. Again no delivery and no time slot was given. I called customer services again and they told me it was out for delivery due today, this did not happen. I have had no contact from the rug shop or the delivery company. So yet again I have to make more calls but this time it will be for a refund. Would definitely not order from here

In reply to your reply this is not the case. The rug was not delivered and when contacting the delivery company they have no reference number at all. Please provide photographic evidence of this and a signature, considering I was advised that delivery will not be made without me being home. This is lies, I’ve had nothing from any delivery company by way of text, email or phone call. And that DHL number does not exist

Really impressed with the service and fast delivery.
The Rug was a lot cheaper than I had found on other websites.
I would definitely recommend this company and use again.

I recently received my order number 1000054441 which was a beautiful multi coloured rug. The whole process went very smoothly and I was kept informed of the delivery date & time.
The rug was a great price compared to other vendors and I had already seen it in a shop some months ago, so knew it was excellent quality. The RugShop is definitely good value for money and I would happily shop there again. Thank you Rug Shop.

I bought a rug a week ago. Still waiting for delivery update. I sent an email asking why it has not been dispatched and no communication but still no answers.
I have made a Big mistake buying from this company.

31st January. I finally got through to the company and my refund is in my bank. So they have redeemed.

Bought a Blush Gatsby rug in November . It cost £380 . By beginning of December it started to unravel . The rug shop sent it to the distributor who said that it was dirty , smelly and the problem was caused by me .
As a result I am not being given any compensation . The end of the rug has obviously become dirty on transit to the distributor. I am 76 years old and live with my 43 year old daughter . There is absolutely no way that what the distributor says was caused by me in less than a month of having the rug . Very very disappointed as the rug was expensive .

Had to wait a few days for the rug which made me nervous as apart from the initial e-mail to tell me that the order was being processed, I didn't hear anything for a few days.

When i got the email to confirm the delivery and tracking details, the rug arrived on time and in fantastic condition. I had seen the same run on the Next website for double the price so couldn't believe my luck when I found it here.

Would definitely buy from them again.

We recently bought a similar rug from The Rug Shop and we have been very happy with the purchase. It doesn’t move around on the carpet or shed a it’s color. All rugs arrived quickly and they are all of the same quality. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them for future purchases.

Terrible experience. Rug arrived, description stated black and white - it was definitely not white but dark beige so it didn't go with rest of decor. However, I was happy to match it with another part of the house, but would need a bigger size, so I emailed them asking effectively to return and upgrade (i.e. paying them more!) rather than a refund and that I'd matched it elsewhere and was happy to return and arrange (and pay!!) for a bigger size instead. Very short defensive response that it was as per description, I would have to return it and it would cost me 25 pounds to return. Not interested in my solution of being happy to arrange, swap and pay for a bigger size (!). Then sent me another curt and defensive email saying I would have to pay the 25 to return before any refund would be processed as it was not their fault. Really disappointed, no interaction or support in resolving this. I obviously did not buy the bigger size and am now out of pocket with zero rug and dreadful customer service. Unpleasant (and odd) experience.

Had a problem with delivery of goods but resolved amicably
