I needed to get in touch after receiving my appliance. I emailed, 3 hours later, nothing. There is no telephone number so I used the chat service (I use the word 'service' very loosely) nearly 15 minutes after I sent my first message someone responded.
Upside is that the appliance is as it was advertised and is definitely brand new

Amazing service

Ordered an american fridge freezer whose condition was as per the pictures (provided upon request). Being able to chose the delivery day to match my move in date was super appreciated, and the actual delivery service from Afan and Connor was absolutely outstanding and I couldn't thank them enough.
Haven't plugged it in yet but I trust all is well. Would definitely recommend and buy from them again!

I made a visit to the Shop looking to buy an Oven and was really pleased with the service given. Arfan was very informative and helpful, I choose my Hinsense Oven and arranged a delivery date only 2 days after my order. As promised Arfan and his co-worker turned up on time and done a excellent job of removing my old appliance and taking it away aswell as installing and connecting my new one, which looks fab immaculate. I have not had chance to use as yet but Arfan made sure everything was working before leaving and removed all packaging. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use in the future, excellent service!

Bought a fridge freezer with a years warranty, after a few months it stopped working and all of our food perished, after three or more messages to the company on the website I was given a wrong email repeatedly and no help (eventually they just stopped responding) I sent three or more emails explaining the situation and it has been weeks or more with absolutely no response, this company is no good - it has now been months with no help and the fridge freezer after completely breaking down and becoming dangerous had to be removed, I would never use this company again.

Update - they Contacted me after leaving a review within hours to say they have switched their email, and that is why there was no help, no where did they mentioning their own staff were giving giving out the wrong email multiple times or the fact that I had emailed the address that they provided in their own email twice and it was still ignored.

I originally used Trustpilot and other social media channels to try to force a reply from theshopathome and it worked, receiving a telephone call the same day. A customer should not have to resort to such action and a company should not be organised in a way to require such action. I did promise the company that if the product was delivered as scheduled and as described that I would update my post on Trustpilot. Both the latter happened as promised. The communication from the courier was excellent as was the product. This outlet model has the potential to do well if it recognises customer communication is key to a successful business.

Great experience! Fantastic customer service, delivery service on top, drivers were kind and very helpful. 💯 Very happy with my order, thanks a lot ☺️

UPDATE 3 - the S@H Director, Connor, called me to apologise for the delays and blamed a member of staff for the issues. He arranged collection the following day which he attended and the dryer was taken away and a refund was finally issued! If you're having similar issues call him on 01793 488663 to ask for a response. Glad they took responsibility and resolved the problem. My advice is to purchase from them using a credit card for full or part payment so at least you have Section 75 protection and be sure to leave a review.
UPDATE 2 - It's now been over 5 weeks since we made a return request and still no collection of the faulty tumble drier and of course no refund. Sporadic and vague responses to my many, many emails and their live chat is a joke. Now stuck with a faulty tumble drier and lost over £300. Ongoing claim via our credit card via Section 75. FYI - I think most of their negative reviews have been posted against a company with the same name in Denmark in error (I made this mistake too).

UPDATE 1 - faulty dryer, submitted a return request 1 day after delivery and all downhill from there! No response to request, limited response on live chat so now having to initiate Section 75 return via credit card. Very frustrating there's no phone number for Shop@Home.

After last review a manager rang, he had read my review and he was so sorry that I was unhappy. I was promised my missing shelf that I’ve waited months for by the 12 of December. Still waiting and they have ignored my last email asking why?!!!!

Who wouldn't want an appliance at least £200 less than a 'new' model. It arrived quickly and efficiently. And it's immaculate, just a few scratches which we were told about. In our eyes it's NEW. We love it, wish we had found this family, friendly company sooner. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again if needing to buy a different appliance. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.Great correspondence from them , prompt and efficient. FAB.

Bought a tumble dryer, waited for it to be delivered, got an email saying it’s out of stock. Called the shop and asked about my order, was told it will be delivered by Thursday next week. I told them about the email and the story has changed to it’s been damaged and I was told 2-4 working days for refund, which today is Friday, so by Wednesday! I’ve got 3 small kids and need to do my laundry and clearly don’t have spare hundreds £ in my account to go and buy one somewhere else today! Terrible service, AVOID

We bought an A grade fridge freezer but it arrived with deep scratches on the front door and a missing shelf. We were offered a measly £40 for the damaged front (which we accepted because we couldn’t face moving it again) and they offered a new shelf to be sent out as soon as possible. However they have not sent the shelf (it’s been 2 months since they promised) and they will not reply to our messages! Avoid buying from this company!

I am extremely happy with my new Hisense Fridge which arrived within a couple of days of my ordering it online. It was listed at a great price (ie: half the usual retail price) as it was an ex display model, but when it arrived it was in excellent condition. The deliverymen arrived exactly when they said they would(despite travelling all the way from Swindon to Devon) were courteous, helpful, and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly use this company again.

to when arrived at the door- product dishwasher installed and old one taken away- two very polite and helpful deliverers/ installers - very honest - this was 6pm and they still had two deliveries to go - Such hard workers and did it with a smile- product checked no leaks- can’t comment on it anymore as just arrived needs to work a bit first

Ordered an ex display grade B Hisense dishwasher on Friday & it arrived on the Monday, lads helped bring it into our kitchen. Very pleased with our purchase. Immaculate condition.

Bought an ex-display Hisense fridge - works perfectly, brilliant machine, really happy with it. Great service too, delivery guys were professional and delivered the quite large fridge efficiently.
