We recently hired a Routemaster double decker for my sons year 11 Prom. From first contact the service was exceptional with very quick responses to my emails. Nothing was too much trouble including adding school coloured ribbons to the front of the bus. The kids were really excited to travel together to their prom and exclaimed as they got on, saying it was so cool. Thank you to all who helped make this special occasion even more memorable. Highly recommended.

I hired The Vintage Bus Company for my husbands 60th birthday on Saturday 1st July we went to Windsor races and the totally experience from booking our trip last year to getting off the bus after the races was absolutely brilliant NOTHING was to much trouble and every question was answered

We hired a vintage bus for our wedding day. The team were incredibly responsive from our very first enquiry. We felt like we were in safe hands from the start and that didn’t falter for a moment on the day. They arrived exactly as planned and with plenty of time, arranged relevant permits and planned their routes, and welcomed our guests aboard. It ran without a hitch and without any involvement from us on the day (same cannot be said of local taxi firms!) They include lovely details like decorations in the colour of your choice, tickets, and a personalised board on the front of the bus. Thanks team, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you!

We used the vintage bus to take us to our work event. From the start communication was great, always quickly responding to my emails or available for a telephone call when necessary. Conor was the main person I dealt with and he was great help. I was unsure of a few factors at first, such as venue (as there were a few we were looking at) and whether there was going to be a return journey from the venue, Conor was great (and very patient!) throughout. Ribbons and balloons were provided as well as a personalised blind, the little details really did make it feel personal to us. The driver and conductor were very polite and helpful - they gave out personalised bus tickets (provided by them) and bags we had made up for each person. Everyone absolutely loved the bus, it was great!
There were no issues whatsoever, I would definitely use this company again. Thank you so much for a fantastic service!

The Bus was booked for a Birthday celebration, We all had a fantastic time, visiting 2 places of interest. The journey was fun and exciting, The crew made us all very welcome and we treated the the time we had to the best we could. When we arrives at the 1st venue, children and adults could inspect the drivers cab and venture around the bus if they wished. The Bus route No. was changed to coincide with me getting younger during the trip not older, hence 60 to 40, then to 21. Everyone thought it a brilliant party start my Grandson said Best Party Ever Nanny. says it all!!!

I have recently used the Vintage Red Bus Company for a large wedding in central London at the NHM. The communication from Conor in the lead up to and on the day itself was so efficient and professional. On the day itself, they were so accommodating and the b uses looked fabulous! Excellent service, Bus was decorated with the Bride & Grooms name and date of wedding, both driver and conductor were A1, the children loved the little ticket keepsakes they received as they entered the bus. Guests loved it, we used it to go to the wedding venue, then back to the sit down dinner, and final drop off the evening venue. People in the streets along the way were beeping the car horns and waving. a very nice day.

I used this company for transport of guests on my wedding day. Communicating with Conor beforehand was really great, we also arranged to have drinks delivered to the depot, which arrived with the bus on the day, in a cooler. All the guests really enjoyed it and the staff on the day were so wonderful.

Vintage Red Bus Company transported us and our guests from our wedding ceremony to our reception in central London. They were great to work with from start to finish - Conor answered all our questions quickly and clearly and the team on the day were lovely. We got some drinks delivered to their depot which were provided in an ice bucket on the day and they also let us serve snack boxes for our guests to eat on the journey. Definitely recommend them for anybody who wants to hire a routemaster!

Thank you to the Vintage Red Bus Company for making my friends Hen's party the most special day! The staff were so helpful on the day and were really flexible with changing a couple of things on the day. Great communication from the team leading up to the event which made it super easy to organise! Would highly recommend the experience!

We hired a bus for our wedding and then they misspelled the name of our newly married name (it is not a complicated name)

First apology was pretty meaningless and and very much ‘oh well’ - once I had explained in detail how misspelling a newly married name on a wedding bus is actually pretty upsetting and had ruined the photos and was just extremely poor on their part in how they attempted to (not) handle it - I was offered a 25% refund which I accepted - i had asked for 50%. The second apology was more contrite but it was really disappointing that I had to basically make them take accountability instead of them just holding their hands up in the first place.

I don’t know what the point of the bus conductor was on the bus, apparently he was there to help with drinks but he did nothing.

Overall it was fine, bus was clean and being able to play music was fun - but I wouldn’t recommend based on the above.

What an incredible experience! The customer service from beginning to end was seamless and the communication from Conor was very reassuring that all was going to be taken care of on our wedding day.

The two beautiful vintage red buses were such a highlight for our guests at my daughter's wedding, when they took them from the chapel to the reception. Tricky logistics (including distributing champagne for the journey) were managed brilliantly, and the service in the run up to the event was great. I'd recommend them highly and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
