I've shopped The Violet Vixen a few times now. There goth flair collection is unbeatable for unique and terrifyingly awesome items. I'm a t-shirt fan and also indulge in a few accessories. My 2 favorite t-shirt prints were found here. I've also just moved to florida and found an excellent pagoda umbrella I use for both sun and rain. For anyone with a love of the color black, this is a great spot to shop.

The order took more than 4 months to arrive. It looks very different from the pictures. It's made of faux leather, not PVC as described. The materials used are poor. There is no steel boning to the corset and it is flimsy and weak. The laces are cheap quality. I ordered the correct size, and it fits mostly, but the breast cups are basically flat with no room for breasts, rendering the top un-wearable. So effectively, this order was a waste of $75. The whole experience with this order has been very poor and I do not recommend.

Honestly, Violet Vixen is struggling. She says it is "due to covid." They are stationed in Texas. It took almost four months to finally receive it in Florida. They struggle with replying. Be warned they only have a 24 hour refund policy. So unless you change your mind the day after you order it, you will never see your money again. The corset we ordered was claimed to be "in production" but their warehouse wasn't stocked to fully finish production. The response was unclear and repetitive. When I asked about a refund, they offered a different corset. If they struggled to send me the first one, I didn't want another one. I wanted the one I spent $90 on that my sister really wanted. After bringing it to PayPal's attention, they finally shipped the corset, priority mail. They got a two star because we finally recieved the product. It would have been a one Star if no product was recieved. The product was the correct one, and it was pretty. The stitching was nice. The laces were a little dirty, but we can clean it. It did have an odd shape in the sides of the breasts. Possibly from rushed production. It was the right measurement. We will have to find someone who can fix it later. Overall, frustrating experience. It would have been great if they communicated better. I would have never bought it if the website would have said "out of stock" or something like it. A big disclaimer stating that shipping times may extend beyond normal wait time due to covid would have been helpful too. Just be prepared to wait for a while if she hasn't figured out her issues.

I have purchased Ready Playa masks for all my family and friends. I wear mine everyday and after over 6 months months of very hard wear (lots of outside time, hiking, etc.) it finally wore out, so I got another one!

This is my 2nd order. And the 2nd time it has taken months to fulfill. I ordered in November and received in March. The communication was crap at best. This time even the corset didn't live up the the expectation. The first time they were amazing so I risked ordering again. Thinking there is no way it will happen twice. We'll itndid and the quality if the product was worse. Swndint back the purchase never ordering again. Extremely disappointed.

This item had nowhere the stated fit statistics. Now I have to figure out how to return it and get another.

Super slow shipping and coset terribly made. I hate that I wasted time and money for this.

I have been waiting since August 2020 and still have not received my corset

The hat took 2 months to ship and when I finally received it, it was way too big even though it was the smallest size. It was also an awful quality, I could have gotten a better quality hat at Party City and pay $10. Never ordering from this company again.

Order a product in December didn’t receive it till March, had emailed a couple of times with no answer back. Product seems good quality though just be prepared to wait 3 months

Never got my product!! Having PayPal investigate this and they told them it was shipping and that was 5 days ago. Now they want a review. They are scammers!!

Horrible customer experience. I order 10 items almost a year ago and have only received 2.
I cant get anyone from there customer service department to answer me or update me anything.
I will never order from them again and I dont recommend trusting their service.

This my order took over a month. It was a gift for Valentine’s Day. That day I realized it had been 2 1/2 weeks since I placed my order with no further correspondence. When I emailed, I was just told the offices were closed because of the weather in Texas. 3 weeks later it finally ships. No apology, no explanation. It should’ve gone out way before the storm anyway. I’m very understanding, any acknowledgement would’ve been appreciated. I do this (online fulfillment/shipping) for a living and, as incompetent as corporate is, my company would never let something like that happen. So that’s how I know it’s bad.

If there were actually a way to leave zero stars I would.. Item never came after weeks, company won’t answer phone calls, return calls or even return emails! Never had a worse experience from anyone has I’ve had from The Violet Vixen. Buyer beware!

I ordered my corset at beginning of October for a Halloween costume and received it February 1st. I am the one who had to receive out a few times before getting a response one time and then heard nothing else back from them.

I ordered several pieces 2 weeks before the lockdowns in March 2020. Because the warehouses where items were made and shipped were shut down, it took 5 months to get everything. My boots came immediately. My skirt was shipped from England so, between lockdowns and customs, it got to me about a week before my corset, in July or August. I did email The Violet Vixen about my order. I was informed of the warehouse closure and offered a refund. I decided to wait.

The other thing I was worried about was updating my address several times before shipment due to living circumstances. I was able to email them and they happily updated my address and I was able to get everything I ordered.

I ordered boots, a skirt and corset. The boots were delivered within a month. The skirt was imported. The corset is made to order and the warehouses for the skirt and corset were non-op for several months. The only thing I think they should have done different was mass emailed customers of the delay then mass emailed them when everything was back up and running. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with my order. Wish I could post a photo. Love my items. Want to buy again!!!

Liked my corset but was not happy I didn't get it before Halloween.
