I just received another delivery this morning. I just wanted to thank you for all your beautiful items. Moving into a new house during the pandemic is very strange, but I would be lost without this website and product offering!! Especially as I am very picky (ha!)

Purchased the Grafton Wall mirror and I have to say it's perfect. Arrived well packaged and didn't take as long as I thought it would, what with Covid playing havoc with almost everything these days.
Mirror looks amazing in my hallway. So glad I saved their website to my 'favourites' a while ago after seeing some of their unique pieces. Next time I'm in need of something 'wow', I know where I'll be heading!

Maybe folks should contact trading standards? Just a thought...

Below is the response from this company if you leave a negative review. Steer well clear. If only they could find it in themselves to respond to me when they failed to deliver items I had paid for. PayPal has refunded me, still not a word from them - apart from this.

Due to new judicial precedence set by The High Court in London on holding reviewers now financially liable for their reviews on Trustpilot, legal proceedings have now been initiated with the reviewer.

Ordered set of drawers..not suitable for use as very flimsy ...paid £40 .returned them at a cost of £13 . 14p ..absolute extortion ..put me off recommending this company and certainly wont be buying from them again.

I bought a small cabinet fir £89, the first time I have purchased off this company,and WONT BE BUYING OFF THEM AGAIN!! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.I wasn't happy with the item as I thought it was not good quality for the price.I couldn't fathom out the PayPal returns ,so I returned it through the post office,packaged as it came and securely.I had an email today off Peter who stated that I will not be getting a refund as the item was damaged by my courier? He sent photos of the aparent damage,but no photos of the damaged box, very strange. When I said that it wasn't my fault and I would like a full refund he said I could have the damaged product back,free of charge!! I can't even claim off the post office because even though I have proof of return they need photos of the damaged packaging as well as the item.I am absolutely disgusted by this and would urge anyone NOT to buy off this awful company.They are unprofessional and shouldn't be trading!! BE WARNED. I will not give up on trying to get my refund £89 is alot of money to be ripped off for.

Items very very poor quality, ordered some trays and the bottoms aren’t attached, not packaged very well at all, items coming out the thin cardboard they were wrapped in. I’ve now got to pay to send back!!!

Quick delivery and higher quality than I thought for the price. Will and have recommended.

I ordered a mirror which arrived smashed to bits, unsurprisingly since it only had one thin layer of bubble wrap in the box. They did however refund me very quickly after I emailed them pictures of the damage.

A real pity about the lack of packaging as the mirror looked lovely on the website and a real bargain but not worth trying to order again as it wouldn't survive the journey.

I bought two slim wooden chest of drawers with four drawers as bedside cabinets, same height as my high bed and they look great. I love that they came ready assembled and really good value for money.

As I can’t respond to WLH’s reply to my comment on their own site I will reply here.

The first time I tried to buy from them was a couple of years ago. I couldn’t get their website to accept my order so I emailed them asking if I could place a telephone order. Their curt response was they didn’t take telephone orders. No assistance was offered.

The last time I tried to order was a few days ago. When I tried to put items in my basket I received a message from Paypal stating that they were not accepting payments to this company.

Yet they insist there are no problems!

Edit. The response is untrue. There was no Court case. I gave details of my experience.

Very attractive website, but that is all, 9 days for item to arrive, no follow up email as promised regarding dispatch and delivery, it just turned up, lucky I was in. When item arrived, to say it was of really bad quality would be an understatement! yet to be returned (nightmare process) so watch this space, paypal will only stand £15.00 for returns, i payed £13.14 so got in under the wire, I await my refund for goods and postage - fingers crossed

UPDATE - Paypal have very quickly refunded the postage costs. The whitelighthousefurniture.co.uk attempted to have this review taken down - as you can see they were not successful! and I still await my refund 3.5 days since the return was signed for at their end!

Further update, money still not refunded and I am being ignored (very childish & petty) considering legal action if money is not refunded soon.

UPDATE - Finally refunded money from this truly awful company which I can only assume is run by spiteful little morons on the 20/11/2020 after getting Paypal involved, just over a month, not to stressful a process, but them dragging their heels just proves what a bunch of ?"@!"s they are.

We are now on 12th Aug and still awaiting a refund for an item I ordered and didn’t receive on the 11th June. This company’s only response to any negative reviews ( of which there are quite a few !!! ) is to copy & paste negative comments about Trustpilot and how they diminish their company name.
You don’t need any help from Trust pilot - negative comments on here are all your count and you’ve only got yourselves to blame. You’ve been warned - shop elsewhere.

If only I had read the reviews for The White Lighthouse before I ordered.
Sent for 2 items and both arrived damaged and the drawers in one of the units did not work properly.
The damage was not from the delivery and looked like an attempt had already been made to touch some of it up.
Disgusting that a company would send out damaged and non functional products, especially when their website sings their own praises,
I e-mailed the The White Lighthouse and sent photos of all the damage on both products and they Insisted that I could only receive a refund if I opened a PayPal account, which is NOT the way I paid for these items, as I paid through my credit card and I was not willing to open a PayPal account, so I have now paid £90 for 2 items that are worth pennies.
The company just kept sending back the same reply to my e-mail, which was that I needed to return the items through PayPal,
So frustrating and disappointing - a very expensive mistake to make.
Please AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I have written a review of my purchase and realise it was perhaps written with too much emotion which I felt at the time .
The item we fixed and I apologise to the company .

Please do not buy from this company . Paid £250 for a coffee table . It arrived water damaged , scuffed , marked and damaged in so many places . Filled out a damage claim form to be told nothing wrong with it and they can’t help me . Removed my reviews on their Socila media . Very dishonest company !! Please please don’t give them your money .

Just like to edit my review as I’ve received a reply from the company . This company are an absolute disgrace ! You can clearly see from all the terrible reviews what kind of people you’re dealing with . Threatening customers who give bad reviews and slandering them . Please please please do not give these people your money . They try very hard to have negative reviews removed . Just look at the responses they make .... they’re absolutely shocking .

Fantastic customer service. Ordered the beautiful Lewiston lamp but unfortunately it arrived in a damaged box and the glass shade was broken. However, I’m not convinced the delivery firm were as careful as they should have been.
I emailed the The white Lighthouse company and was immediately offered a refund which was processed in the same day.
Lovely products and great service. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Absolutely shocking! I sent a very polite email querying the product I received. It was in a Home Bargains branded box and arrived damaged. I have since found the product for £5.99 online, they are charging considerably more. Emails were ignored, comments on IG deleted, then I was blocked - all of this for querying the product. At no stage was I rude. I can see that appears to be their bog standard response to other reviews. I received a very threatening voice message, from their ‘legal team’ accusing me of social media trolling from spam accounts. My son commented on a post once - their definition of trolling is very different to mine. I will keep the voicemail and pass to Trading Standards.
They are unprofessional and clearly lack basic customer service skills.
Avoid at all costs, what a bunch of arrogant amateurs!
I have also posted this review on Google as I’m so disappointed at their handling of this very simple query.

Update :and to now be accused of a torrent of abuse is totally laughable. This company blocked me before I had the chance to enter into a dialogue with them. Anyone only needs to look at their reviews on Google to see I’m not alone in my experience. Receiving threatening Answerphone messages from on-line companies is a first, this company should be closed down!
