Customer service is basically non…

Customer service is basically non existent. Filed a chargeback with my bank when Afronation was postponed. They then cancelled my ticket and said If I lose the Dispute the ticket will be reinstated. They then disputed my chargeback. I cancelled the chargeback and my bank Sent me proof that I lost the dispute. Sent that to ticket arena and they claim I won the dispute and need to contact my bank. They haven’t proven this to me. So now I don’t have a ticket and won’t be refunded. Stay away from them.

If I could give them a zero or a minus score I would!!! They have no customer first mentality, money thieving grumbags! Changing their terms and conditions to suit the current pandemic. Give the refunds back to people!!! What kind of a sick company are you? Knowing that people need the money now more than ever and you can’t have a decency to act like a human for 1 minute!! I really hope y’all shut down forever! I really hope you’ll never operate again and all the other ticket vendors can operate and crush you as their competition. Hope y’all never have a chance to scam people out of their money and call it service. You all are a disgrace in how you operate and work! I hope you will never recover and just go down the drain so you can learn the hard way to treat your customers how you would like to be treated!

Exit festival have refunded but not ticket arena

Exit festival have refunded all tickets due to it being cancelled. Still waiting for a refund after a number of emails and a Google document regarding a refund. All emails were vague answers and avoiding the refund. Would never use this company again as 0 transparency.

WILL NOT ISSUE REFUND!!

Absolutely shocking customer service, keep hitting me with generic emails regarding my well overdue refund for Hospitality on the Beach. Keep telling me to check my bank accounts (which I have done for the last 3 months) it takes 2 seconds with a mobile app
Will not give me a straight answer and judging by the rest of the reviews on here they are a bunch of thieving kids. I hope Hospitality and other establishments turn their back on these Crooks . AVOID THEM LIKE COVID!!!

Disgraceful customer service

Disgraceful customer service. Yes covid19 has put pressure on many businesses. But that doesn’t mean you can’t manage customer expectations. I have waited more than 10 working days extra than the expected SLA for my refund for tickets. There explanation is “at the time we believed the refund would take 15 working days but unfortunately that isn’t the case” they still fail to process my refund. Clearly they’re experiencing cash flow issues and can’t even keep their customer in the loop. I wonder if I will ever receive my refund ...

Corporate greed over their customers.
This company is choosing to keep all fees and costs for events affected by Covid-19.
People are literally dying around the world, and millions are without employment, and this company are emailing everyone their T's & C's, as some kind of justification to keep people's money.

Nobody asked for this.

I hope the Music and Events industries take note and run this shoddy company out of business post Covid-19.

Avoid, use other ticket outlets who give full refunds on cancelled events

I bought 10 Eric Prydz tickets from ticket arena for an event in Liverpool in May 2020 but due to covid-19 this event got cancelled.
When I received the refund it was £30 down and when I questioned this, I got told in the T&Cs any cancelled events, nobody gets there booking fees back but all others like ticketmaster, Skiddle etc give you a full refund. So avoid if possible and use another ticket company as these will take money from you due to cancelled events!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

1 star is too good for this company. Despite claiming they give refunds in their terms and conditions and are registered in the UK they refuse to offer refunds for my nearly £200 ticket for Afronation Portugal Festival.

The phone line was of no help, they just advise you to re-sell your ticket, which was in no way mentioned in the original terms and conditions, nor would I even come close to getting back the money I paid for my original ticket. They pass the blame off to the organisers saying that there is nothing they can do and it is at the organisers discretion as to whether or not they want to give a refund! They clearly had enough of people calling complaining about the same issue as they turned off the phone lines the day after announcing no refunds!

Contact Afronation organisers (also UK based) and they cite an emergency Portuguese law, which contradicts their claims as it features very clearly that ticket buyers can get a refund. Emailed with evidence of this as well as terms and conditions to both Ticket Arena and Afronation and Ticket Arena simply say 'There's nothing we can do.'

Had to go through a successful chargeback claim with the bank, to get my money back, with the disputes team noting that they've had several claims for Ticket Arena. Make absolutely sure that you want to give these people your money, the ticket refund protection you buy covers hardly anything.

I will never use them again, I advise you don't either.

Having rolling loud ticket refund problems ,paid for through ticket arena like many others.
Gonna do a charge back from my credit card company, and wage a absolute war on this company’s reputation for having the cheek to try and wiggle out of this.
Long when this is over I will be using every platform to remind people every single time a event is company up to NOT purchase anything through ticket arena.

I can’t wait for this company to go down the drown, a long with Afro nations events.afro nation have definitely done themselves over and that promoter might as well forget everything he has planned.that backfire is gonna be a sweet story to tell.

Ticketarena will wish they never sold me a ticket more than I wish I never paid for one through them.

1 star is too good.

The event is cancelled, every other company is offering a refund if rescheduled dates cannot be attended except Ticket Arena. They are falsely using Portugese Law to try and weedle out of giving customers refunds. £300 is too much for me to lose.

According to Consumer Law Act 2015 we are entitled to a refund, however, this company is sending out lies in generic emails to avoid giving customers refunds.

Never use this Agency, THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS.

Absolutely terrible customer service!

Section 18 of the checkout terms and conditions, sent out at time of purchase, clearly state that if the event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will be offered a refund or entitled to attend the new event.

Section 7 of the terms on the website, clearly state that if we CANNOT attend the rescheduled event, you WILL offer a refund for the full face value of the ticket. Yet you are still refusing to refund people for afronation?! So much for a fair refund policy!!

You are hiding behind afro nation and still refusing to refund us and by doing this you are breaching the consumer rights act 2015.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Schedule 2: Consumer contract terms which may be regarded as unfair... Part 1 Section 19: A term may regarded as unfair if a term has the object or effect to transfer the traders rights and/or obligations under the contract, where this may reduce guarantees for the consumer, without the consumers agreement.

You have done this by saying the refund is down to the discretion of afronation and not yourselves.. The payment was made to ticketarena . Ticketarena's terms say that if i cannot attend the date for the rescheduled event i WILL BE ABLE to get a refund for the face value of my ticket.

You are saying that the refusal of refunds is in guidance with a portugese law that came in place months after my transaction was made?
However section 27 of your terms states...
"These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and any disputes arising between you and Ticket Arena are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts."

Both ticketarena and Afro Nation are limited companies registered in the UK. My transaction was made in the UK. How does UK consumer rights law not govern this transaction??!!

Chapter 2 section 11 of the Consumer Rights act 2015 states that goods supplied should be as described... In my case they aren't as described and do not match the description at the time of my purchase or on my order confirmation ...

At the time of purchase, the goods were two tickets for Afro Nation Portugal taking place on the 17th-19th July 2020. My order confirmation clearly shows this in bold. You are now saying that this can't be supplied and you will now supply two tickets for the the following year, Afro Nation Portugal taking place on the 1st-3rd July 2021. I as the consumer do not agree to these changes as i can't make those dates. The description of the goods have now changed. I therefore have the right to reject the goods and treat the contract as at an end, under section 20 subsection 4 and 5 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Then a right to a refund within 14 days under section 20 subsection 15, using the same method in which i have paid with, as stated in section 20 subsection 16 of The Consumer Rights Act 2015 also.

It is laughable that you say to recoup some of the cost of my tickets, i must resell them through your reseller site as well?!?
