Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service, My son and 6 of his friends purchased Parklife Tickets. On arrival one ticket would not scan as had already been used - impossible, as all 7 lads travelled together! No help at the venue atall, told to contact ticket arena and turned away meaning my son had to travel home alone!!! Been in contact with Ticket Arena by email since the day of the festival, can have a free ticket for next year.... not good enough as he missed this years festival, the free ticket should be in addition to a refund!! wont refund the ticket and now I have to contact the warehouse project myself to try and get a refund, just fobbing me of hoping I will go away. Avoid buying anything from Ticket Arena!!!!

Hi Linzi, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.

Unfortunately in this instance, as we are not the event organiser we were not in a position to offer a refund without the authorisation of the event organiser. We were also not the company managing the ticket scanning for this event so cannot speak about why the scanning system did not work for your son.

After liaising with the organisers directly, we were not given the authority to refund your order but we were told to offer you the ticket for 2019. I hope you can understand this matter was out of our hands and that we did all we could to resolve your situation.

DONT USE

Bought tickets on here which were then cancelled for fraud security check. I called and confirmed all was genuine, received an email 2 Weeks later telling me that the tickets had been cancelled again and that it was my fault as I had requested for them to be cancelled??!
Am now the only from my friendship group without tickets as event has sold out!
Oh, This event is in a foreign country and have already paid for my flights and accommodation!!

DO NOT USE!

Great website, easy to use and the customer service team is always on hand to answer any queries. I've used them loads of times for music events in Leeds and Manchester and have never had any issues. Thumbs up from me!

Steer clear

Steer clear, they cancelled the concert, then sent an email that went into my spam which gave only 7 days to claim my money back. I called up to chase, then found the email a day after their deadline, and they flat refused to refund my money.

I am sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied by the quality of our service.

When a promoter notifies us of a cancelled or postponed event, we aim to notify customers as soon as possible with the details of this and options they have regarding any refunds.

We do advise customers to check junk, spam, social and promotional folders as emails may sometimes fall into these categories. Unfortunately, this is something that is out with our control.

A time limit for refunds may also be put in place by the promoters and this is something we are required to adhere to if this is the case.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Appalling experience

Appalling experience, they completely mishandled my tickets, first they charged me for post delivery, then they delivered them by email, then they told me these were cancelled and that they will be posting, then again that they would be sending by post and cancelling the ones on the email, they sent the hard copies and then they cancelled them to be resent again... I am not joking, I asked for a refund due to the whole experience being dodgy and never sure if the tickets I was going to the event with would be valid at the door after so much canceling, at this stage their word (it was the only thing they were giving me) was worth nothing. Very unprofessional and they refused to refund me even though they admitted they made a mistake and missed their own deadlines. My recommendation is that if you have the option of getting tickets through any other supplier, please do so, TicketArena shouldn't even be in the game

Cancelled Tickets

Purchased Tickets on a monthly pay plan for parklife.

Found out they cancelled my tickets due to not being able to take payment..

Wasnt informed only realised the month after when i checked my bank statement..

Contacted them and they informed me i cannot have the tickets nor can i have a refund of the £145 id already paid!

Below reply (1 year after I posted this review) is bull not once did I get an email from them regarding this.

I have looked into your query and I can see that we attempted to take payment on four occasions, on each occasion the payment was declined. You payment plan is then cancelled following the fourth failed attempt to take payment.

After each failed payment, we notify you by email to inform you of the failed payment and the date of the next payment attempt. This email also includes information on how to update your card details in case this is the reason for the unsuccessful payments.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reinstate a payment plan or refund any previous payments following the final payment attempt and cancellation.

We have tried to be as transparent as possible about this in our terms and conditions which you are asked to read and accept when you purchase your tickets.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
