Woah lads buckle up as you're up for an insane ride!

Sadly not the ride you are expecting. More so "pay a premium for 12-year-old processors".

My journey with Tilla started on the catching Instagram ad "get 50€ trial - BET YOU WILL LOVE IT". Sadly they lost bet.

I sign up for a trial and the first thing I notice. 50€ for 4GBs of RAM and 2 vCPU which mind you, I was only allowed to use 70% of, with basic SSD storage. Hello captain I think we missed the ship...

Can someone tell me would pay 50€ per month for 12-year-old hardware, which is outdated and doesn't even come with so few resources? 4GBs of RAM? Dude seriously.

The shenanigans don't end here my friends. All over the website, they claim "unlimited bandwidth" with the Fair Use policy. I took a look at FUP and instead of concrete limitations in a nutshell what they claim is "you must not use more than average user". Okay, so that means nothing? Most machines idle bandwidth most of the time anyway.

So I go sure let's use the trial. And bam after 2 days my instance got locked. Yikes, I guess 20TBs of traffic was too much for them to handle. Without any contact (apart from a call from an UNKNOWN number) I was left in the dark. I contact support and they claim they tried contacting me... Was that you? Unknown number? Surely you could email me...

And I say, sure please let me know what I need to do to comply with FUP. Well, sike. They said "Nah mate we don't want your business" we terminating your trial.

Basically in a nutshell. You will be paying a premium (more than DigitalOcean, Linode & Vultr COMBINED) for hardware that fails basic care as it's 12 years old and exhausted.

If you're a real business looking for a host that cares and which will overdeliver in terms of price, support friendliness and hardware performance, I suggest using a different provider.

Hopefully, this stays for everyone to see. Looking at you PR department :) - I can provide email history and invoice history.

EDIT: I am honoured that I received a reply.

Let me elaborate all intentional misinformation shared;

You don’t use Xeon Golds. Your FAQ says Westmere and YABS.sh showed E3-12XX which is indeed a Westmere lineup. Also, please why exactly is your company incapable of using a hypervisor that would report the correct CPU. Unless you manually change it the passthrough should work fine.

FUP clearly states nothing useful. No numbers no anything. No definition of what you consider abusive either. Again most machines idle traffic, so aligning by average usage of other clients is bad.

You didn’t attempt to contact me. I won’t answer calls from “No caller ID”. Also your help desk ticket email replies didn’t bounce which clearly shows that you didn’t attempt to contact me from tilaa official emails as ticket emails aren’t bouncing.

Okay, I will admit that you charge prorated values which made the product appear more expensive than it actually is per month.

Disks are slow. NVMe that modern providers use provide over 2.5Gbs in RAID1. You are trying to get away with SSD even if industry is moving on NVMe fully. Sadly for you RAID10 still isn’t enough to provide fast IO. However it doesn’t matter as your would probably chonk your FUP if we used so much IO anyway.

I thank for your reply and I understand that you do not want heavy users on your platform as your hardware and edgy and rude support cannot comprehend it.

I’m also aware of your contact with our support team and the configuration you tested, so luckily, I can set things straight for our readers and give you some insights that will hopefully change your perception.

We do not have 12-year-old processors. However, I do want to thank you for pointing out to us that our virtualisation-layer reports an older model than it actually is (we use Xeon Gold processors) so we will make sure that is corrected.

As you might well know, using 20TBs in one evening (consistently) is in fact excessive use, affecting other clients quality and speed of the platform. Also, our network engineers detected an amount of 2 gigabit per second usage of bandwidth. All this is far above our FUP that is stated clearly in our terms and conditions.

This is unfortunate. We did call, but the call wasn’t answered, and our initial mails were being bounced. As stated above, FUP terms and conditions are clearly positioned on our website and referred to multiple times. Based on this we had to make a decision at one point and your VPS was indeed suspended. Considering what you used in a couple of hours, I’d say this was the correct decision.

I have to disagree with you on all accounts. The actual VPS was running 100%, just as it was ordered (by yourself) at 4GB, 60GB SSD and 2 cores at their full extend. The price was calculated over the extend of 1 month and 10 days; this same VPS is valued at 25 euro excluding applicable VAT. So, you did not spend all the credits we gave to you for the trial but only a part of it.

Our hypervisors use RAID-10 for our SSD’s and have been benchmarked with an average of 541MB/s bandwidth. This is not a basic storage. Even here, we are constantly renewing our fleet to the latest version, and they are even faster with a benchmarked disk of 1,2GB/s (on average).

Again, it might very well be that we are not the right provider for you. I respect your decision to look further, as I am sure you will respect our decision to safeguard our standards for all our clients – which basically led to your suspension.

company who is obligate people to pay money after their prepaid hosting plan finished!

I can proof of my evidences, like Invoice and e-mail conversation with Your support! But Yo have paid plan with trustpilots, and force them to remove negative reviews & Trustpilot ignoring it just send all reququsts to some сlaim team which doing nothing.Tilaa - is the company who is obligate people to pay money after their prepaid hosting plan finished!

Slow support, bad customer attitude

Tilaa powered down my server because they didn't like that 1st credit card I've paid with failed and I used another card. They thought it was enough reason to power down the server disturbing my work (and then start responding with rate of ~2 emails per day). They restored the service only the other day. So I don't know how you can rely on a VPS provider with that attitude.

I've been a long time customer with tilaa (~3 years, maybe longer). Stability is exquisite, the customer support is prompt and very qualified. The price/quality ration is great especially since the traffic is included.
