Excellent site

Excellent site, interesting surveys and friendly community. Points are easy to accumulate and soon add up to many brilliant rewards on offer. Definitely the best survey site in my opinion. Keep up the good work Toluna.

Current experience

Been with Toluna for a little while now, they're not the greatest, majority (if not all) my points have been gained from answering the 15pt poll questions. Whenever I try to do a survey I get screened out early on around 90% of the time.

The amount of points you need to earn for anything is kind of ridiculously high compared to the amount of points you'll earn if you're in the same position as me.

Have yet to earn enough credits to redeem (for something I actually want that is). Will be sure to come back and update this review as soon as I do though.

I was a Toluna member for several…

I was a Toluna member for several years, earning a few decent rewards in the first year, but then it started to go downhill.
It took me 6 months to get the points required for my last reward of a measly £10, but before they paid out I had an email to say my account had been terminated.No good reason and no proof of any wrongdoing were offered.
As many reviewers below have said, they are slow to pay out (usually much longer than the advertised 8 weeks) and the surveys frequently screen you out at the last minute, meaning they get all that data then tell you 'your profile didn't match' - sometimes after an hour of survey filling (yes that's another thing; when you start a survey which says 10 mins it can end up being an hour)
If you want to earn anything on there, it will take you a long while and you'll need a huge amount of patience.
I'm a member of several other surveys sites and can tell you that Toluna are the worst I've ever known in every respect.
If you're actually going to bother with the site just be aware that you can be terminated at any time for spurious reasons (which they will not divulge) and you'll lose whatever you've earned.
If I could leave no stars for this shoddy company I would have !

Beware of this company…

Beware if you want to spend ages filling in surveys just for them to suspend your account and then for them to say you broke the rules (changing the reason why all the time). They still have all the points I accumulated and the vouchers that were processing.

This so called multi-national organisation will rob you blind.

Extra cash if you have enough patience

Good way to earn some extra cash, lots of surveys, the only problem remains the time between you hit the redeem button and when this will actually happen, which in my case is almost within 1 month, which is ridiculous. I simply cannot understand why is taking them that long

Very poor rewards process

Very poor rewards process - their T&Cs state that reward requests will be processed within 8 weeks, which is a ridiculously long time, but they can't even meet that timescale for many people; waits of 12 weeks or more are all too common.

When you query why a reward request is taking so long to fulfill you are usually fobbed off with statements like "It takes so long to dispatch payments because we have many requests and we process the payments periodically. Therefore, our Incentive Team has to stay within the given timeline" which is absolute nonsense. The vast majority of their competitors process reward requests within a week and some do it the same day or even instantly.

I saw that an earlier reviewer (on 29th January) believed that the rewards process has improved since a new community manager took charge. However, whilst some rewards have been reinstated, the speed of payment has not improved in the slightest - if you look at the Toluna community posts you will see that many people are exasperated by the repeated delays in receiving payments and the total lack of interest expressed by Toluna management.

Many people have switched to requesting Paypal rewards as community feedback indicated that these were processed faster than other rewards. But Toluna then had the gall to increase the cost of Paypal payments at the end of February as they said they needed to cover the costs of increased numbers of Paypal requests - but they seem to have totally failed to see that the reason that people are requesting Paypal payments is because Toluna have failed to meet the demand for voucher requests for retailers like Tesco, Amazon, Argos and so on. So they're penalising people for choosing a reward that is more likely to be paid. How bad is that?

I've been a Toluna member for several years and the payments process has always been slow, but never so bad as it has been in the last 6-8 months. Toluna really need to get their act together as they are the worst paying survey company of any that I've come across, and I've used dozens of them over the years. But what doesn't help is that many long-suffering Toluna members are so grateful to receive rewards after extended delays that they actually post comments on the community forum congratulating Toluna for getting around to paying them - why on earth would someone congratulate a company for very poor service? That really is bizarre, but is sadly indicative of how low the standards have become at Toluna.

Toluna

Appalling in a word. Applied for my Amazon gift voucher 107,000 odd rewards earned no voucher sent. I applied in January and we are now on the cusp of April. When you write to them they come back with silly nonsense. Now I cannot see the reward against the "my rewards" part of the site. They tell me I need to "spread the date wider and press "select"!" Obviously think I am a total div. I am extremely annoyed as I have a further 40000 earned and that mean I have totally wasted my time. I would not advise anyone use them it is the only way they will learn or go out of the survey business altogether. I do other surveys and I have to say I have never waited months for a reward. Will not be using them again and would strongly advise others not to also

cant be bothered to do their job

cant be bothered to do their job, so called new manager is nothing more than another mouthpiece who does nothing of any worth sending foreign magazines to uk users rarely able to finish surveys upon checking discovered that alot of the "companies" wanting surveys on Toluna just happen to run from the same address which stinks to high heaven, stupid unwinnable competitions the lies about it being a community and seeing true colours of members when there is a problem, the im alright jack mentality is sickening, if you dont kiss butt on there expect nothing

Disappointed in Toluna

When I first started on the site, I could get an Amazon voucher every month or so.
This year it has been taking weeks and week from claiming vouchers to then be told they are 'not available' and being cancelled.
Lots of people deeply upset as different rewards no longer available so seem that they will not be sent before Christmas.

Extremely poor lack of engagement from the staff, if you email them to chase a payment , al you get is a stick answer.
Seems the level of integrity of the site has declined badly in the past months.

In all honesty, I am not sure it is worth anyone wasting their time and joining now.
