MOMMAS! This pump is great! But you HAVE to make sure you are using the CORRECT size horn!!! Once you buy this pump, either use inserts to make the horn the right size or order from the support page here! If you do not use the correct size, this pump will not work well for you and may be painful!! I do suggest a different design going forward for the collection cups, they don't empty well.
I got this pump as a baby shower gift. I loved it for about the first 36 hours. I measured myself to make sure I had the right nipple sizes and everything, but even on the lowest setting it hurts so bad. I continued to use because it is my only pump, After about a week of use one pump BARELY has any suction. I have to dang near hand pump with that pump to collect milk. & even at fully charged they will randomly turn off on me. I’m a second time breast feeding mom and I definitely don’t recommend this pump
The pumps have their PROS and CONS. I have been using the pumps for 3 months as a first time mom I only have found this helpful and don’t really have helpful backup ones, they worked great especially for pumping at work. The one issues I mainly had was being able to get every last drop out of the container because of the lip it has makes it hard to get everything. It does have many parts to clean but it’s not so hard to clean. At one point I had both pumps connected to the app and while messing around with the part I had found different useful tools. But after a couple weeks one of the pumps seemed to have lost connection which wasn’t a big deal because I was still available to the pumps and they usually turn off after 30 minutes. I am currently experiencing some issues with the pump where one doesn’t seem to hold charge. I purchased pumps from Walmart and also had a protection plan + manufacture warranty. I have been struggling for the past two days to get replacement or a resolution because I have contacts Tommee Tippee which told me to see if Walmart could give me a replacement since they dont have any in stock and don’t know when they will, I have search at every Walmart near by and none have them in stock or know when they will get them in stock. At this point I feel like I have to purchased different pumps and hope they are comfortable and will empty me because every other pump I have used would had me engorged 1- 1 1/2 after pumping and I am an oversupplied.
DO NOT BUY- who ever made these HATES moms!! It’s impossible to get all of the milk out of the pump when you are done so some just sits in there. I have the mom cozy s9 and bought this one on clearance for my second pump I sat here for 30 minutes in pain! And barely have 1 ounce in each cup I made sure I had the right size on and that the red light aligned correctly and I’m an over supplier most days I’ve never had this little before I put my mom cozy back filled up in 5-10 minutes. I don’t mind that it come with more parts because it comes with extra cups but this pump is not work it I’ve never once had pain like this while pumping or feeding.
The instruction manual didn't give any clear instruction on how to connect to the app, the name of the app, or charging. The app says if you need a different horn size you can order them for free off of the website, and when I go to the site it freezes at the checkout screen for the horn size I need. Every time. It appears as though the whole site is in a different denomination as well and I'm in the US. The design of the collection jar for the milk is poor, unfortunately. There is a lip on the little cup/bottle that doesn't allow you to pour out all of the milk. I lose some milk every time I need to bag and freeze or even just pour into a bottle to use. With the fact that the pumps prioritize in words getting 'every last drop' this is surprising. The app doesn't explain the home page or set up etc. So there's a portion that says 'full' in the app that I have no idea what you do with. Oh as well as the timer. It doesn't allow me to use the toggle next to it so I don't know what it's for or what good it does. They are rather large, but they are very very efficient. I like them for the convenience of using my hands.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. - too many parts - comes with large flange sizes which rarely fit anyone, lead to poor output and pain !! - had to use the app to change settings, very annoying constantly going onto phone - dont waste your time, get a mumilk ella or spectra.
I was disappointed when I bought the tippie Tommie pump I thought I can finally relax and do stuff around the house without having to be stuck to a wall and I got a disfunction pump I can only connect one pump at a time to the app meanwhile the other side doesn’t work the button to put the suction higher doesn't work either I tried to return it and I wasn’t able to because it was used now I have to buy a whole other pump with money I can’t afford
I’m a little disappointed in this pump. It doesn’t pull the milk out and caused pain in one breast. I believe the horn is the wrong size and maybe that’s why there isn’t a proper suction. I was told the new horn wouldn’t be available until maybe December, so now I have a pump that I can’t use, and I can’t return because it is used. I just needed to pump milk for my baby so this is incredibly upsetting.
I purchased these thinking they’d be great but now I read some reviews and I can now relate why they low star reviewed, I have the same issues they had and even when I aligned my nipple it wasn’t latching it correctly, the battery does die very quickly, only pumped 15 mins and it’s already half life which is sad. I was looking forward to these that way after a lump I easily feed my baby, not to mention it becomes painful in high setting even though I usually use it like that with my other pumps. Photos show how much I took out after pumping, but for sure it’s not worth the money. I’m not even sure I can return after just using once
Love it, went from a low supply to an over supplier thanks to Tommee tipped. I will for be getting more of my products from them.
I like that I can wear these around. I got them when my spectra quit on me and I was waiting for a new one but had to send the new one back to. The app is a little confusing and the suction is really strong. The 24 size flange is way to big and I need to figure out where to get smaller ones because they are making me raw. I haven't had many issues with the batteries but I charge them after every pump and never have them on for more than about 25 minutes. They don't seem to empty me but I can't turn the suction up either until I get a smaller flange. Overall not the worst.
Okay the design of these pumps are awesome!! I love that the collection cup is totally separate. I just got these today and I had them both fully charged and I started pumping and the battery is already at a half way point and I haven’t even been pumping for 20 min. I believe there is some kind of issue with the internal battery and I really hope not. These weren’t the cheapest but definitely cheaper than some other options.
I feel like i have wasted way too much both time and money on this Tommee Tippee breast pump. For starters, it’s way too heavy for its purpose but with the right bra, it’s possible to make it work. Second, I’ve been using it daily for almost three weeks & the batteries already seem to be worn out, barely lasting 30 minutes on a full charge. Lastly, I’m honestly pretty torn and regret purchasing this pump. After not being able to pump my milk when needed, it’s really affected my milk production for my baby, in a bad way which is what really upsets me.
So initially I loved the pump. Suction was on the uncomfortable side, however, it was emptying me well enough. I was satisfied until about one month after purchase, one of the pumps stopped charging and turning on. So now im left with one pump as I cant return it and I lost my receipt which I did purchase a separate warranty so that parts my fault. But, for 198 USD, pumping 8 times a day for 4 weeks (I have twins) and for it to stop working on me is wild. Money doesn't grow on trees and im not able to at the moment buy another expensive hands free pump (which i NEED as I mentioned, I have TWO newborns). I had higher hopes.
Super heartbroken and disappointed. I finally saw this on clearance at Walmart in Converse, Texas. This is how it came. Used and missing parts. Then the store said it was Tommee Tippees issue and wouldn’t accept the return. So now I’m taking a loss with money and have no pump.
I had very high hopes for this pump to work great but I'm just disappointed with it in every aspect. The suction is very uncomfortable and too hard and caused a hickey like mark on my breast. It didn't empty me out completely leaving me feeling super engorged after. I got around only 3oz each side in 30 mins when I usually get 10oz on each side with other pumps. The app is so glitchy and doesn't read how much output you have at all. This was defiantly not worth the $200 I had to pay. I wish I could return it.!
Had this pump and loved it! Used it for about 4 months and it gave out. I understand things happen so I ordered another one, does not work! Barely any suction, and as a mom who over produces, I have to use this and the my mom cozy pump. Sad to pay this much for a pump that does not work eell
I had gotten it second hand which could be the reason but I had such high hopes. It worked great for the first 4 days and then one of the pumps started to give out. Still have to use till my new one comes in but highly disappointed.
I have only had this pump for a couple of months and used it a handful of times because I didn’t like it before. I’m sad to say they already unusable. One of them will not charge even a little bit. I have tried the original charger and every other type c charger I have. The other one was on the charger for 4 hours yesterday. I kept checking for the light to turn green and it was indicating that it was charging the entire time. I took it off the charger after the light turned green and pumped for 9 minutes and it died. Thus pump was way to expensive to be the worst one I have used.
