Very quick and positive interaction with Duncan as I went through 'agent' selection process. This was enhanced when he passed me over to Morgan to deal with the nitty-gritty of selling house and engaging with buyers. I found Morgan very competent, keeping me up to date with all viewings and the feed back generated; arranging them after hours or weekends, whatever was required. This totally took strain from me in this regard. House sold at closing. Can't ask for anything more than that. Would, for sure, use T&C, and Morgan in particular again.

Requested a home report for a local house Thursday morning. Friday mid morning received a call and without checking if it was convenient to speak, or ok to ask personal questions the agent launched into a tirade of questions. Despite my first response to “ what is your current status” and mr replying I was merely starting to look at homes locally I then had question after question fired at me about when I’d be selling etc etc. when I pointed out I had only asked for a home report I was advised they did this to see how they could help with sell/buy process. I again repeated I just wanted the home report. Needless to say still awaiting this an hour later. Spoke to my daughter who then advised she had requested a home report for this property and had an unrequested call also yesterday and a day later had still not received the home report! Shocking. Potential sellers should be aware. Interestingly home reports requested from other local agents arrived within the hour, and no cold calling or harassing questions. I know where my trust will go in future.

As a potential buyer, I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agency. The lack of communication was frustrating, as we were not kept informed about the status of our offer. The situation reached its low point when Duncan, the manager, called us back only to blame us for their service failures. His adversarial attitude was both unprofessional and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I strongly advise potential clients to avoid this agency and seek alternatives for a more positive property purchasing journey.

All levels of staff were polite, communicated very well and were also very informative and kept me up to date on viewings and offers and provided me with good advice at specific times during the process. I would highly recommend Town & Country when looking to sell your property.

Town and Country made the recent sale of my son’s house very straightforward. Duncan advised that the house would sell within two weeks and above home report value and was correct. Duncan and the team are exceptional, from start to finish they made this experience a pleasure. I would highly recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. If your property doesn't sell within a few weeks the owner (Duncan) will do all he can to get a quick sale. He tried to bully us into go from an offers over (advised by him) to a fixed price which was £10000 below the Home Report Value. All in an effort to get it off his books and get his fee. We refused and eventually sold at the Home Report Valuation. If we had listened to him we would have lost £10000 whilst Town & Country would have lost only £75 in commission. Wouldn't recommend and have advised family and friends not to touch them with a barge pole.

I don’t usually do reviews but I guess there’s a first time for everything, I am so impressed with Duncan and his team I just had to, they were so pleasant to deal with when they were selling our house which they managed to do within four weeks, we were kept informed from start to finish and as I had a sudden illness they worked everything around myself and my husband for which I was very grateful for they are such a lovely bunch of people but must stress very professional and good at what they do I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and understanding and would highly recommend them to anybody who is thinking of selling there property

We went to town and co to do our wills. Got told they start at £49. After talking to them they said it will cost us £750. The wife agreed with them. So we paid the full amount. That was nearly 5 months ago and we are still waiting for our wills. We have been phoning up every week for 5 weeks and been told that we are a priority. But we are still waiting.

Duncan and the team at Town and Country have been exceptional. When selling my home they kept me fully up to date and we sold within a week. They are also helping me find a new home and they are so helpful and genuinely want to find the best home for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Considering all the great reviews this estate agent has I can only go on the level of service I’ve received, and the level of service is very poor ! Three times we have contacted them regarding a listing they have for a property for rent, and the first two times enquiring about said property we were told someone from the letting department would call us back….. needless to say no one ever called back. During our third phone call I was told someone will call back, so I explained this was now my third call and please ensure someone does contact me because no one has previously…. Twice. The lady on the phone apologised and said you will be contacted….. and you’ve guessed it still no return call !

From the outset, Duncan spent much time with us, advising of current market trends and assuring us of a probable quick sale. He and Morgan regularly kept us informed of subsequent events until conclusion of sale. Nothing was too much trouble. A first class service from friendly and very helpful staff.

Charlotte and her team were extremely helpful and at hand, from viewing the property multiply times, to answering all our questions, keeping us updated and making the whole process a smooth sailing right to the end.

Staff at the Kirkintilloch branch took care of both my purchase and sale. The staff have been so helpful and kept in touch with me throughout the process. Very reasonable prices as well, would highly recommend - 5 ⭐️

Easy, friendly company to work with on sale of the property. The girls in the Kirkintilloch office were very professional and communication was excellent.
