However I saw it on offer here at an unmissable price so I bought a jar and the younger me reappeared in my mirror to my delight, with radiant firm skin and a delicate champange glow highlighting my forgotten bone structure - result! Charged and ignored
I was charged but didn't receive the April box. I have emailed 15+ times, sent a PayPal request, left a comment on Instagram and their YouTube channel. This is a lot of money to me and I really am shocked that I am just being ignored like this.
Bad customer service experience
I have shopped with TOYL on the past and never experienced problems. Goods always delivered promptly. However an order I placed on 16 July has not arrived. I have not received notice of items being dispatched and decided to email them. No reply to my email. Phoned on Thursday 25 July call was answered promptly and I was told someone would phone me back. No phone call received so I phoned again this morning after getting nowhere as the receptionist told me Evri are probably to blame as the dispatch email originates with them . Once again told someone would phone me I was explaining that I had already been told last week someone would phone me back but so far no phone call. The person I was speaking to kept telling me she was only reception and she was going to end my call ! I informed her that there was no need for her to be so rude. I have been given an email address for someone called Karen at Alchemy (TOYL) to take this further as it looks as if I will have to now fight to get my money returned if no goods arrive,
Doubt if I will order from this company again despite previously having a good experience with them .

So I placed an order on the 11th of June expecting it to be delivered within the next week approximately. On the 26th of June, I get an email saying it's going to be delayed despite their best efforts! I emailed on the fourth and had no response not surprising with this company. I also emailed on sixth as I had no response.
On seventh, I got a reply saying check your junk which I had already done and had no email in there. I'm still awaiting this item this is nearly one month ! I have had problems with this company before lack of response lack of email information and slow ordering process.its now rubbish no clear delivery date - not updates.

As an update to my earlier review, I would like to say that I have now received my Molton Brown order. I was not happy about the delay in processing this order which was placed on 21 June. There was also no firm delivery date able to be given to me. However the 2 telephone calls I made were answered promptly and also i had communication via e-mail.

Really disappointing customer service
Really disappointing customer service. Five emails in and unanswered I am still without the May Box and have requested a refund. Such a shame as the first box was great.
Update: I received a polite reply after posting review and received the outstanding box but yet to receive a refund that I was advised would follow on 04/06/2024.
Poor customer service
Customer service really needs to improve. I placed an order on 19th April, had an email on 23rd to check which box I wanted. I replied the same day, then also emailed on 25th and 28th April, with zero response! I'm now quite worried that I'll receive the wrong box, which will have to be returned. I appreciate that it's a small company, but in my experience that usually makes customer service better.
Update - 9th May.
The wrong item had been dispatched. Received on 2nd May, messaged and emailed the company the same day. No response. Have had to raise as an issue with PayPal.
The seller did email once after noticing my initial 2 star review, and advised that she hadn't replied to emails as they were in the spam folder. Responding to customers seems to be a recurring issue, so maybe checking your spam/junk daily would resolve this.

Received an email about purchased product not being available, accepted an alternative and never heard back nor received the product. Called and emailed Karen many times; she never got back to me. Not every box created equally. TOYL is simply the best among my subscription boxes. Products are carefully picked to make sure they are effective and pleasant. (I always check before putting anything on my sensitive skin.)
I have subscribed to TOYL since last year and have never been disappointed. As a woman in my early 40s, I feel the need to adjust my skincare, body care and hair care routine. Products in the box always are a good fit.
TYOL a theme each month to address different concerns each month. Simply, every £ is well spent on this box. Would definitely recommend TOYL.

I really love the TOYL box. It's a really well thought out box every single month and the products are lovely. It's clear that a lot of care and planning goes into these boxes.
In addition to the monthly subscription box, I recently pick up a collaboration box that immediately went straight into my daily rotation even though I'm still working through all my advent beauty calendars. Whenever I pan items, I find that the next one's picked from my stash are mainly from the toyl boxes which says so much about the items chosen for us.
