The product is fine, however. The staff at the location in Avon, Ohio is by far the worst team of employees EVER. They act like they are doing you favors by taking your order. Not one of the 3 employees smiled at me-said hello, thank you-absolutely zero interaction besides listening to what I wanted to order and how I wanted to pay. I am not being racial as I could give 2 cents about this but in order to identify, this is the best I can do. I believe he is oriental , extremely good looking and that’s where it ends. Unpleasant, that I felt as though I was doing something wrong by ordering a smoothie! A young girl with red hair was making the food; wraps, bowls, etc. I watched her twice take orders to the front counter and literally throw them down-mutter what it was-that customers had to speak aloud and ask what item it was! A customer asked for napkins because the dispenser was empty- male walked to his work station, pulled out about 10 , tossed them on the counter and didn’t utter a word-nor did he even consider the concept of filling the dispenser for the next guest. There were about 15 people in the store. When I got my smoothie, there were none left and I didn’t even bother to ask for one because I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there!
I looked them up on reviews and saw that they had 2 stars with tons of negative reviews. Not surprised! Fortunately they have another store close by in Crocker Park that has 4 stars that I will now frequent. You might as well close Avon, because every single customer was complaining about the service, or should I re-rewrite-LACK OF AND OFFENSIVE SERVICE.

Our past 5 orders they have missed items and when you call they just don't care. We order from work and there hasn't been a single order that they sent everything we ordered yet... We kept trying to give them another chance but today... yet again... forgot the edible straws (for the 3rd time in a row). They either give the wrong chips, or no chips. No sauce on the sandwiches or so much sauce it just turns it all to mush. The smoothies taste good with the edible straws (which they forget) and once in a while the sandwich is good, but we finally have to cut our loses and find a new place to door dash for lunch. The worse part is the horrible uncaring rude customer service when you do call.... It's just disgusting.

I visit the Norton Shores, MI Cafe at LEAST several times a week. Their staff is horrible. They are very unfriendly, they never smile and act annoyed when you ask questions. It is obvious that they do not care about the customers. The staff socialize with each other, they are whispering and laughing about the customers. They are so inappropriate. I never see the owner or a manager. The managers do not stand out any different than the staff. One male employee with long curly hair is so rude, he tosses your bag of food onto the counter and doesn't care if your items tip over or not. They usually hand you your smoothies at the drive thru dripping down the side of your cup, with no napkins. This is the only location in our area, and if there were closer locations nearby, I guarantee I wouldn't go to this one and have to put up with that HORRIBLE customer service from Norton Shores location. They don't even deserve a one star rating! They really should do some training with their staff.

I visited the cafe in Rockingham, NC. The staff never acknowledged us nor did they wait on us. One of the crew looked me in the eye and said absolutely nothing. The other two crews also did not say anything. After about 5 minutes of this treatment, my sister and I left the cafe. I am so shocked at their behavior! It was deplorable! I will NEVER go to that location again. If you wanted great service, go to the one in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

I ordered 3 Paradise Point No Banana, substitute banana for strawberry. I was charged $1.50 for the substitute of strawberry. When I got my order 2 of them had banana and hardly any strawberry because the color was so pale and the other didn't taste like anything and had big chunks of ice. Very disappointed. Had 2 large orders at different times today and staff was wonderful! They were super busy but held it together and super friendly service!! Highly recommend!! Thank you!!

I just went and purchased three of the tropical cups and very sweet, but the fruit was beautiful in the cups. They had an assortment of fruit and granola and honey , they were beautiful. I took a bite of them. They were so sweet. I couldn’t continue eating them and the other person that I purchased a cup for, threw theirs way as well .both were tossed , we couldn’t eat them. They were too sweet. They had honey in them, but the granola that they put in it tasted really sweet too . I was very disappointed and I will never buy another-fruit bowl from them again . I like their smoothies, but I always ask for Splenda to cut down the calories and the sugar and they taste delicious but never will purchase a bowl again

Order taker too busy socializing to listen to order. The second time she got it. Manager or the person in charge was too busy flirting and sharing phone number with a customer to make good or note customers waiting over 30 minutes in the airport where we are trying to catch flights. Ticket feed machine broke and three people standing around while customers waiting for food. Avoid if possible.

With everything going on lately you would expect anyone working in the food industry would wear a hair net and gloves. I was is your latest Cafe on Delaware ave in Buffalo NY. I noticed multiple employees digging bare hands into the ice and ice cubes sliding down their hand and wrist with no gloves. On top of that long hair with no nets dangling over the fruit station. Is this the company standard? The food and drinks are amazing. But when I was in line other patrons were commenting as well with the same concerns.

Cross contamination. My son is severely allergic to peanut butter. We ordered a yogurt bowl and whoever made it used a spoon or something that was used for a peanut butter dish. If my son ate that, he would be in the hospital or worse. Horrible.

Waiting in store no one here got smoothie 5 mins waited on two wraps 15 mins

We visit the Tropical Smoothie in Johnson City Tn about twice a week after going to the gym. We love the smoothies and the healthy ingredients. BUT the staff has so much to be desired. The last few months all the employees have no personality at all. They all look like the are miserable with frowns on the face and not friendly at all.
I think they all need to visit 7 brew down the street and take lessons.
Customer service makes a business tremendously and keeps customers coming back.

Worst experiences ever. I went to the tropical smoothie on Bay Rd in Saginaw, Mi and ordered an Avocaldo smoothie without turbinado, and I was given a Detox Island Green with extra ginger and whey powder. Seeing as it was green, I didn't think to check the receipt and ended up drinking it. By the time I got home, my mouth and throat was burning so bad that I decided to look over the receipt and noticed the mistake. By the next day, I was extremely ill with what I'm assuming was detox symptoms from all the extra ginger in the drink. Still feeling unwell typing this. Not a satisfied customer by any means.

This was the Burlington, NC location. I should first state I have difficulty walking and risk falling. I have always been able to order online and get at drive thru. This time I was told you have to come in. I explained I was handicapped. Again told you have to come in. I asked if it could be brought out. Told you have to come in. I said if I fall it will be your fault. Someone brought it out but very obviously broke the edible straw. Poor service and rude attitude

We first went inside to order in there. But no one would come out to serve us or get our order. And they were all on there phone. So we just went thru the drive thru and someone answered and took our order. So other than that amazing drive thru services. Just not a very good inside service. But they had amazing drinks and food

This visit marked the end of our patronage at any Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Despite being regulars, our experience at the Boynton Beach location was disappointing. After waiting for service for 2 minutes, we were finally attended to, but our simple order seemed to baffle the staff. Even though we had enough points for a complimentary smoothie, they claimed their system wasn't updated and refused to honor it. Despite showing proof, they were uncooperative. This recurring issue of blaming the system rather than addressing the problem was frustrating. To make matters worse, one employee became hostile and yelled at us to leave. Recording the incident, we were shocked by their lack of professionalism. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? It's clear there's a need for better employee training and customer care. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to take our business elsewhere, where competition is abundant.

I love your tropical smooth cafe.The staff are very friendly I'm Greeted & Thanked. They have Healthy Smoothies & Food so far there hasn't been anything I haven't liked. I'd recommend this spot Pamplico hwy if you want something good go see Axita she will make sure your Smoothie & food is good...

I went on my lunch break from school and Tara C waited on me, she was fantastic and so was my smoothie and oatmeal bowl. The restaurant is SPOTLESS and had great energy. Second time I ate there in two days.
