Good experience

Very prompt dispatch, excellent socks and very good value. I was nearly put off by the advised time of delivery which was at least 5 days ahead but they were listed as in stock, so I ordered them - in the afternoon.
Good communication - they were dispatched that evening and unexpectedly arrived next day!

Great product and speedy service

The socks were what I had been searching for for a while.
They look and feel good. Quality is excellent and they are just as they appeared and were described on the web site.
Have added the website to my bookmarks for next time as I will definitely shop here again

For all non-UK buyers:
What Trunks & Boxers do not tell you, is an additional customs charge , besides shipping costs
These totaled more ( ca €50) then the costs of the trunks themselves.
Shameful, never buy anything here anymore !

For clarity to our international customers, we would like to confirm that there are no hidden costs on our website.

In our International Delivery – Orders Outside the UK section, we clearly state:

We do not charge VAT, import duties, or customs fees at checkout. These charges are set by your country’s customs authority and must be paid by the customer upon arrival.
Any taxes, duties, or handling fees requested by local customs are the responsibility of the recipient.

As a UK-based retailer, all orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom. Since the UK is outside the EU customs union, some countries apply import VAT and/or duties on arrival. These charges are determined solely by the destination country and are not collected or controlled by us.

The shipping fee paid at checkout covers postage and handling only. It does not include foreign government import taxes, which vary by country.

We understand that unexpected customs charges can be frustrating. However, this is standard procedure when ordering internationally from outside your own country.

We remain committed to transparency and are always happy to assist customers with any questions before ordering.

Company Breaching Consumer Rights Act 2015

Awful company. Refused to accept responsibility for courier ‘delivering’ item to a a bin used for my daughters dirty nappies. I have no contract with the courier only Trunks and Boxers.

Item also differed from images on website and there was a flaw in the waistband on one of the pairs. Item rejected as does not conform to standards set out in Consumer Rights Act 2015. Made item available for collection. Company initially advised they don’t offer a collection service, but after reminding them of their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they arranged a collection for a time that I specifically said wasn’t suitable as I woundnt be at home.

Company are insisting that I incur costs to return an item that is faulty and not as described, and unwilling to cover these consequential losses in doing so. This is a breech of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Currently taking advice on how to proceed.

Update: using the pre paid label will require me to drive to a post office/parcel shop and incur costs in doing so. Royal Mail only offer collections at a certain time of the day. I cannot guarantee I will be at home at this time making this option unsuitable and inconvenient. Both of these breech the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Incorrect items

Order a couple of packs of 2 different styles, however one of the packs was incorrect. I emailed them about it and and within minutes received an email back apologising with an attached prepaid label to return them. The day the items were delivered back to them i received an email thanking me for their return and the correct items were shipped out to me the same day.
Its not about if companies make a mistake, its how they rectify them that matters.

Incorrect item and no response to resolve

We ordered some specific socks, the ones we recieved were different to those advertised. We wanted a specific item so have contacted via email twice using the details online, we have recieved no reply to either request for resolution and are now stuck with a pricey product we don't want and will have to source the correct item elsewhere.

Edit: following this review, the company did get in touch and after I provided photo proof of the incorrect item, offered for me to return the item for refund or a £5 partial refund and keep the item.
