Expensive but seems to do the job
We used one whole 3 litre tub for 5 slots had to order another tub which just did the other 5 slots. as we were going through render we had to go 55mm deep even so I cant see it working with just 3 litres

dissatisfied with offer policy.
I ordered SBR, which was on offer at the time of order. I subsequently had to order two further 5 ltr bottles of SBR the following week and was extremely disappointed that Twistfix would not honour the offer price. I won't be using Twistfix again and wouldn't recommend them.

Not had a chance to try it out but already had one stumbling block. The nozzle is too short for double walls with a cavity. Need to source a longer nozzle.

Very efficient company, high speed delivery, good stuff.
Thor Helical wall ties are brilliant, the driving tool is vastly over priced and after driving in about 40 or 50 ties it became very stiff to remove from my sds drill. But having taken it out I had to relieve the end of the shaft by lightly grinding the end diameter. Because it had begun to mushroom. It needs to be a bit harder!
But I must say that the company service is excellent and would use them again!

Get sales team up to speed
Phoned on a monday (16th) morning, asked person on phone ' if i place an order the now, can you guarantee it will be with me for tomorrow(tuesday 17th) as i need it for a job on wednesday' . the chap replied it will be with you on tuesday!
So i placed the order. based on it arriving on tuesday.
Tuesday comes...an email arrives saying ' expected delivery date 18th(wednesday).
I phone twistfix and explain, the chap on the phone was nice enough and said twistfix dont guarantee dates and that i should never have been told that..
I then have to phone and make alternative arrangements with customer(who wasnt happy) and arrange my employees to different jobs!!
I did get a tracking number with my email...but it dosent tell you who the courier service is with...so tracking number no good!
Wednesday comes...still no delivery, so i call twistfix. i tell them i have tracking number but dont know who courier service its with..and as its there mistake that it now running behind THEY can track it and get back to me.
The guy onthe phone, can only say' i dont know who the courier company are, all i can say is it being delivered. useless!!!! we end call
as it happens it arrives about 2pm on wednesday, so all work had to be rearranged. All because somebody at twistfix assured me it would be with me on the Tuesday...
If he had said definately wednesday..fine . then i can work with that. but dont tell me it will be there on a certain day if your not 100% sure!!

If only the product was as good as the delivery
I purchased 400 stainless insulated plasterboard fixings at 125mm long which can be driven straight into thermalite blocks without a pilot hole. As we were fixing into brick I researched the recommendation to use a 4 to 5mm pilot hole, but using a 5mm bit is too big & the fixings don't hold. I have tried every where to get a 4mm SDS plus masonry bit at the required length & it seems such a thing does not exist so I have approximately £300 worth of virtually useless fixings!
