We have a room which is partially underground and gets damp after heavy rain. Thought about using bitumen paint, or plastic sheeting, until I found Twistfix. Was going to order their matting, but spoke to their technical adviser who suggested tanking slurry, which i bought.
Did first coat on Sunday and we have had heavy rain whilst applying it & today. The stuff has hardened and still drying out, but no more water has seeped in from outside. After the second coat we should be nice & dry for the bathroom.
They said delivery would be between 3 to 5 days but arrived within 2 days - and I then had no excuse to put off the job!

Next day delivery service was spot on but when we came to use the silicone tubes with the supplied skeleton gun - we found that the gun would not take the tubes!

We had to go out and purchase a large skeleton gun in order to proceed with the damp proofing - leaving us with a nice pair of yellow 'marigolds' and a useless gun as part of the package oredered!

Job done in the end but you do need to check on equipment supplied please!
Anyone want to buy an unused skeleton gun - comes with free marigolds?!!

Nice domed tops to the nails pricey though option of quantity discount might be nice and or galvanised

The twist ties were a good price and arrived two working days after they were dispatched. They were dispatched in one working day of my order. Excellent service the same as I have had before. Would not hesitate to use them again.

My kit was delivered quickly as promised, I'm no DIY expert/professional and found this method easy to do with everything I needed provided.

I've purchased wall ties from twistfix twice now and they have always severed me well. The last order was short of items, but the team resolved this with next day delivery. You can't fault a service like that. I'll continue using them in the fur ture for wall ties.

i ordered 3 tubes of dampcure and only 2 turned up in first package plus delivery company on both the first and second delivery sent them to the wrong address

I first came across this company when I had a problem with a gable end wall which was bowing alarmingly.
Not only was the solution available but also video's showing the procedure to follow. This saved me, potentially, thousands of pounds.
If you have a building movement problem this would be my recommended first port of call.

Being my usual self, I didn't measure the width of the house wall properly (outside wall to inside tiled wall?) thus I bought wall ties too long. On checking, realised what I had done, phoned Twistfix and they promised that as soon as they received the originals back they would dispatch the correct ones. True to their word, new ones received the next day. Excellent service Twistfix. Well done for speed and efficiency.

I ordered my purchase online and found the web site easy to follow, two days later my item arrived safely and securely packed, very pleased :)
