Rubbish , negative attitude by fitters and was shouted at in the yard , not friendly or approachable staff what so ever ......

Got a puncture on my car at 3.30pm.

Had the new tyre ordered and on the car at 11.30 the next day, both a day sooner and half the price that KwikFit quoted me.

Excellent service, would use again.

Tyre Spot Birtley is the place to go! I needed a new single back tyre due to a wourn down spot. Glen sorted me out in a very profesional manner. He gave me all of the options tyre wise with price and delivery times if he needed to ship it in. I didnt feel scammed or upsold at all! He said he could replace the single tyre but he advised to change them both at the same time so they were a pair, told me the legal legistation regarding this but in the end I asked himm what he would do if it was his car. I left a happy customer and would reccomend anyone to go there for their tyres

Good service received Team valley, when had my car in for MOT and new tyres, even fixed another issue for free.

Just had 4 new tyres fitted today by Glen in Birtley, absolutely professional from phone call to enquirey yesterday to fitting today. Rang Gosforth yesterday and spoke to Stephen I think re the yokohama tyres advised online for £124.00 each fitted. However, because they had to be collected from another outlet they would be £130.00 + each. I rang Birtley branch and spoke to Glen who said he would also have to get the tyres collected but would not be a problem and the price would be as advertised £124.00 each fitted. He even came to work early to ensure he was there for collection. He fitted 4 new tyres at your advertised price of £124.00 each. Glen was on his own, phone rang non stop, top man. Thanks Gosforth... Not

Got two tyres for my caravan damaged both scratches on both.
One tyre flat next day went to different garage will never go back again.

Ordered 4 tyres, was told yes come for 2PM. Got there and told there was a wait time of 2 hrs. 3 mile walk home! Then after tyres fitted tyre sensor keeps coming on dash board, tyres need inflated most days. Took it back,ok we will have look but 1hr wait. 2hrs 15 mins later I was told need a alloy wheel refurbishment. Took to another garage next day because one tyre was flat, they wire brushed the inside of wheel,10 mins total perfect job;if you enjoy inflating tyres every couple of days, choose tyrespot.

Just been to the spot in birtley for 2 tyres, ordered online to be fitted today, have to say the service was fantastic, it's the first visit here and I'll definitely be going back when I need anything . Well done, credit where its due, not enough people leave genuine feedback after good service, only if it's bad for them .

Used tyre spot for years and spend hundreds maybe into the thousands over that time.
Rang them on Thursday to order two rear tyres and said I’ll be there Saturday to have them fitted, yes if you come down for 8:30am we can get you in and fit them so gets there to be told your tyres aren’t in yet, oh right well you took my phone number so before I travelled 10 miles to get here could someone not have rang and told me this 😡 no apology or nothing, gone right downhill tyre spot.

Thought I’d give them a try as I found out I had a slow puncture but the guy behind reception could not have been more unhelpful. Told me they couldn’t repair it before he even looked and he doubted that they would have my tyre size in to replace , again without even checking the tyre over. Needless to say I was told there was a 2.5Hr wait and to take a seat while he ran around like a headless chicken. Obviously didn’t want my business so went around the corner to another tyre place who fitted it KWIK……

Wouldn’t return looks like it’s ran shambolic

Used Tyrespot Birtley for years on and off for tyres and never really had a problem. They don't do MOTs - so I thought I'd take it to the branch on Team Valley. Wish I hadn't as they came back with a list of failures so long it was unbelievable.

Whilst in the waiting area I was was a bit concerned at how high, and for how long, they revved the engine. Shortly after this the car developed a severe internal oil leak - which I'm sure they induced.

The car passed an MOT elsewhere, but now eats oil. It never did this before Tyrespot got their hands on it.

There is a young guy who manages this place, he’s the most competent manager within this industry I’ve come across, we use him for our work vans and he always fits us in when he can at short notice.

He today squeezed me in for a MOT on my wife’s car after the person who booked it got the times wrong.

Great service, great manager, great place.

Went on Saturday for 2 new tyres on my car parked car up till Monday to use for work then as I leave my street light comes on to check tyres only to find they had put 57 psi in my tyres no wonder it was bouncy shock think I’ll be going somewhere else next time

Awful experience at Tyre Spot Washington with Jim. Having paid £450 for a new exhaust my car was making a horrendous loud pitched whistle noise when I collected it. I returned the car and asked what the noise was as it hadn’t been making it before. Firstly I was told it was a pulley under the bonnet and nothing to do with them. Then they said just because they were the last to touch the car didn’t mean it was their fault. Then they blamed the bad weather (there was no adverse weather in the hour between collecting and returning) Then they likened it to changing a light bulb in your kitchen and the microwave breaking. Then they said it was making that noise when I dropped it off. It absolutely was not, I couldn’t bare the noise for an hour never mind longer, it was so loud. They stated it was pure coincidence but they would be happy to book me in to look at it and they would give me a quote for any repairs! Needless to say I wasn’t doing that in case they caused more issues and refused to take responsibility. Jim was incredibly condescending and appeared to me to be taking advantage of the fact I was a lone female with little car knowledge. But I did know what he was saying was wrong. I later got a phone call from Colin at Tyre Spot in Houghton who could not have been more helpful. He offered to look at my car immediately and stayed open late to check it. Surprise surprise, it was a bracket between the exhaust and catalytic converter causing the noise, and was their fault after all. He fixed it within minutes and was very apologetic. I’m so disappointed the staff at Washington weren’t as helpful, it was an easy fix for a minor error they made and I certainly wouldn’t return or recommend the garage to anyone. I would have gave 1 star but seemed unfair on the lovely Colin who helped me so quickly.

My son and I are here from Germany and we had a flat tyre that they fixed within 30 minutes. Really friendly and experienced staff. Can only highly recommend them

Booked car in for wheel alignment at Washington. Guy on reception is amazing knows his job and very helpful to all customers that arrived while I was there. Told my rear wheels were fine but front were out which I suspected as had hit a pot hole badly and was told cost. Very reasonable price job done efficiently. Would def recommend 👍

Well what an amazing experience with my local houghton tyre spot nothing was a problem manager exellent very happy customer will use them again well done to the staff great bunch of mechanics.

Staff at Tyrespot Darlington are always friendly and professional - and they always try to fit you it even when very busy. The staff explain things well and give clear explanations of how they are going to fix the problem.
