Only used a couple of times but was like a hot knife going though butter on a 6"diamater siver birch branch and a cherry branch not use on anything thicker but it's suits me for what I want it for very pleased with quality and performance 👍
Bought this recently and put it to work immediately,very pleased so far, 4 batteries do not have long but do produce plenty of power , could do with another charger but don't appear to be available on their own .
Absolutely brilliant, lightweight and versatile great addition to the toolbox.
This is another Ryobi Product I have added to my tool collection, as I have noted on my previous reviews, this was purchased for practical reasons, as a long term sufferer of Rheumatoid Arthritis the use of conventional electric and petrol driven appliances/tools had become increasingly difficult due to the weight and actuation of the controls. The Ryobi chainsaw although having used once so far has proved to come up to the standards of other Ryobi tools, and will hopefully allow me to soldier on and maintain a degree of independence
Light and easy to use and good to have two interchangeable batteries.
Powerful and light
Easy to handle does the job
Only really useful for cutting through branches of 5cm or less.

The chainsaw itself is a quality machine, my reason for 3 stars is that the instructions for fitting the chain could be a lot clearer. Pictures alone is not enough, and they are not big enough. I really struggled with this, and despite finally sussing it out, it still came off the guide blade and is now jammed tight, and I am having quite a job trying to un-jam it.

Simple to use, powerful enough for the job. Oil level window is useless though - totally opaque! I have to unscrew the filler cap and look in…
A great tool and capable of cutting down a small tree quite easily
Rather complicated to assemble, but finally did it! Works well.
Great looking machine. cuts well Uses quite a lot of oil drains batteries quicker than expected but overall happy withit

Superb chainsaw
Surprising good ,having a petrol machine it is very impressive for the smaller jobs much lighter and surprisingly powerful .
Love my Ryobi tools. I’m adding to my collection monthly.
Powerful saw and does the job well
This is my first battery chainsaw after always using petrol chainsaws. While a petrol chainsaw is much more powerful, often a smaller one will do. This Ryobi chainsaw is great and suites my needs while still using the petrol version for heavy lifting. My only comment is that the batteries are very expensive and a deterrent to buying any more tools!
