Quick delivery and great price. Very light and powerful. Unsure of its capabilities being only 18v, but once I started using this saw, very impressed with what it can handle. Cuts through tree trunks with ease. Now chopping every thing up for fire wood!

Excellent saw .Dreadful manual .No written instructions in the so called "user" manual .Just a few diagrams and then pages of safety notes in a zillion different languages explaining for instance that you must not touch the chain while it is moving etc etc . All designed to keep Ryobi out of court rather than help the user.

A splendid tool,bought to replace another brand of a similar saw - I trust that this one will be more durable. The price is a trifle high but, it may turn out to be worth it. I use such a saw to lop branches and so the weight is of concern - my petrol saw is to heavy for this part of the job. Why can't the batteries supplied by different brands be interchangeable - this would be most useful.

It's nice and easy to operate. The chain went dull quite fast, after maybe 3-4 cuts through not so thick trees, 2-4 inches thick. The chain also had the tendency to go off the rail. I also found strange that this ones gauge is narrower than the previous one, making it harder to find a chain for it. I'm tempted to take it back and get the older model instead.

Very easy to set up and then use. Comfortable to hold and importantly has all the right safety measures in place. Have docked it two stars as the cutting isn't as smooth/easy as hoped when cutting down conifer branches and the chain has a habit of coming off far too regularly to not be annoying.
