We purchased a bed

We purchased a bed, mattress and pillows. We were kept informed of the order and delivery by email.
The two men who delivered the bed were very professional and removed shoes to prevent messing our carpets. The wrong head board was sent but the after sales Dylan sorted the issue out very promptly and kept us fully informed regarding the replacement. We also noticed a damaged bed foot and contacted Dylan by email and him immediately sent out two replacements which we received two days later.
Cannot fault the after sales service given and we love the bed and pillows

One of the best pillows I’ve ever had

One of the best pillows I’ve ever had. The first few days felt a bit strange because the pillow is quite large, but once you get used to it, it’s hard to imagine sleeping without it. Extremely comfortable and very supportive — it really makes a difference to sleep quality.

Bought a mattress which cost over £2000…

Bought a mattress which cost over £2000 from Dreams, Tempur mattress, contacted Tempur as problem with the sides coming away, they told me needed to contact provider, which I did, they send out someone to check, he said he had never seen one so bad, said it looks like that when someone jumps on it, which I assured has never happened, almost accusing me. Its within the guarantee which isn't worth the paper its written on, because they washed their hands of it. Sent an email to me, informed me I could pay for another technician to come out and look at it. No thanks. So under guarantee, its faulty and nothing, they never responded back to my return email. Would I buy another one NO, would I recommend one NO, don't waste your money!

Perfect pillow, odd sizing

This is probably the best pillow I've ever had, and I tried a lot of them. There are 2 things you should pay attention to:
1. There is no size chart in description of an item you have to google and fins it on some random oage on their website
2. Sizing seems off, I'm 165cm tall, 60kg women, ordered XL and it fits perfectly.

Fitted sheet

The quality of the products is very important to me and the way it fits over the mattress as deeper than a normal one. The delivery was quick and easy. The only couple of negatives are that more choice in colour would be good and it is expensive but I do expect it to last.

Being thinking about a Tempur mattress…

Being thinking about a Tempur mattress for a while but never really wanted to invest given the high price.

Stopped by at Westfield London store last month and staff were excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. They actually suggested I shop around. I did that.

Went to John Lewis and tested other big brands. Tried Simba too, given their great reviews, but couldn’t work out what the fuss was about. I've suffered from a bad back for 10 years and found the Simba totally unsupportive and actually overrated.

The one mattress that felt ‘right’ immediately was the medium-firm Tempur. I gave it a week to consider, and after further shopping around, went back to Tempur Westfield with the decision made.

3 weeks later. New mattresses arrived and old one disposed (free), I’ve had 3 nights with new mattress. It’s been amazing. Glad I purchased. First morning I was more sore than usual. Second morning better. By 3rd morning, my lower back pain had gone. I'm genuinely surprised but happy about it.

I can only describe my lower back pain as “weak” as in constant dull ache and feels unsupported. The tempur foam must be providing support in a way that spring mattresses (and other budget memory foams) can’t.

I think this is one of the best purchases and investments I’ve made for my health.
Wouldn’t normally write a review, but hopefully this helps you make a decision if you’ve struggled with back problems like me.

Disappointed with the pillow I…

Disappointed with the pillow I received. I appreciate it was “free” with the purchase of our mattress but I found it too firm and uncomfortable on my neck. Tempur will not allow an exchange for a softer pillow so I am left with an unwanted pillow. Glad I didn’t pay the full price for this as I would be extremely annoyed!

Think Twice

I would advise anyone thinking of buying a Tempur memory foam mattress to think very carefully before going ahead.
Despite their advert talking about these mattresses being Nasa technology, they are not as comfortable to sleep on as one might expect.
The fact is that there is lots of comfort but NO support - due to lack of springs. It forces the body into an unnatural shape overnight.
Also, they don't give you much time to try them out. Many of the competitors will allow you up to a year to try them out and, if necessary, return them for a refund or exchange. Not so with Tempur!
You can end up stuck with a mattress that doesn't give you a good night's sleep at all. We paid over £2,000 for what we thought was a good mattress, but we are extremely disappointed with the Tempur Pro Plus Smartcool. We had lower back pain every day when we woke up, as a direct result of the mattress!
£2,000 wasted to be honest, as we have had to purchase a different mattress for the sake of our health.
These memory foam mattresses may be ok for young people (who are more flexible) but I would I would strongly recommend that you get a traditional spring type mattress if you are in your fifties or upwards.
Don't make the same mistake we did.

With all of our customers we recommend for them to go into one of our Tempur stores or registered retailers to try out our entire range as unfortunately it's not one mattress fits all because everyone has different needs or preferences. Even though trying them in a store is not the same as when you are home, it can help minimise the chances of picking the wrong tension.

We understand that not all customers can do this which is why we offer a 100-night trial period when buying a brand new mattress or 30-nights with a refurbished mattress when you purchase direct from Tempur. With both trials, customers get 1 exchange and then can request to return their mattress for a full refund.
