Swegway 

I returned the swegway I ordered from these people the day after it had arrived. I had changed my mind, and knowing it was within my rights to return and received a full refund within 14 days, I did so. that was 6 weeks ago and I have still not received my refund. I cannot get in touch with the seller and he has not responded to any of my emails, except the very first one which was advising me on the address to where to send the return to. I have proof of return delivery, and I have raised a claim with paypal, but they haven't been much help. surely this cannot be allowed to happen!!!

Same story as many others below. I had bought a Smart10 Balance board. it had a flat tyre. the supplier was difficult to contact but eventually replied saying they would arrange for the item to be picked up and replaced this has never happened. i had no response to my other emails and have therefore now sent a letter informing them of my intention to go to a small claims court if i do not get a full refund. I too have gone to BBC Watchdog

My daughter got her board today for her Christmas present and broke with in an hour absolutely rubbish and the website no longer exists one disappointed daughter.

As per all the reviews listed below which I wish I had read before ordering... STAY AWAY! The website looks good so I ordered. Item came very cheap, no manual and didn’t look safe so phoned up and they send sent it back for full refund. Paid £15 to send back and still have not received the refund. They are saying they’ve sent it and refusing to do anything else but my bank are saying no attemp has been made to refund and 4 weeks down the line I still have no refund :-(

Should have viewed Truspilot reviews first before ordering. The hover board and cart bundle arrived as promised but was just a cheap fake. There are no safety symbols on the board to certify its safety. I will not risk the safety of my grandchild by giving her this toy. It is not as advertised. No manufacturers mark, no safety approval mark. Am returning it for a full refund and have reported it to my credit card company and trading standards.

I'm gona keep this short and sweet.pleade don't not give these people your money. Or you will be scammed. I paid in full and recieved nothing.absolute disgrace ripping off people kids at xmas especially.

Please please parents stay the hell away from this scam of company. . They should be ashamed of themselves... I ordered a hoverboard from them on 20th november and paid in full £204.98 but decided to cancel on 21st November. .. I've emailed them numerous times which they say I've been refunded but I haven't and I spoke on the phone to which I was told don't worry it will be ok .... I'm not letting this go till I get my money back .... I will take this company and name and shame them all over social media and radio stations in Ireland and let my family and friends in England know too .. how they operate. . After recieving a swegway that wont charge i had to pay to send it back and now i am awaiting paypal to refund the money i paid i really wouldnt recommend this company to anyone and really wish i had read reviews first as i usually do AVOID!!

Avoid swegway hoverboards like the plague,this man is a con artist selling fake hoverboards....I got my delivery but is a cheap fake,after a bit of investigation techtoys traders ltd is actually O&M TRADING former company Mr gadget ltd....you will get no replys to emails and landline is a mobile that no one will answer....I have passed this on to the fraud department at the bank and also had response now from trading standards....they just keep changing company names...Omar farook sattar is ripping people off....£200 for a fake and dangerous hoverboard shocking.....AVOID fingers crossed the bank can get my cash back and hope this man's time to be caught is soon! Disgusting

1ST SWEGWAY BROKE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, 2ND PACKED UP NOT LONG AFTER AND NO RESPONSE REGARDS TO HAVING IT REPAIRED.

Couldn't deliver within 2 months. Ignored all my emails took a while for money refund until PayPal intervened. There product states from Germany but almost sure from 🇨🇳. Hence the deliver time. And America stating issues with the company and an alleged ban on exports?

bought a swegway in early december for a childs christmas gift- still not sign or word back despite loads of mails. utter thief!!- avoid.

This guy tried ripping me of for £249. Took the order then gave me a fake yodal tracking number. Sent emails and tried the phone number but nothing. I did a bit of investigating and found his real address, his real name, his family’s addresses and names. Got a full refund within 6hrs of sending him all the deatils I had on him.

Same experience as review below...ordered 2swegway bundles for Christmas, received one which is faulty and no sign of other one! Despite trying numerous ways of contacting them every method goes unanswered, emails bounce back and calls do not work. Also tried the live chat and “contact us” part of their website. Total con artists, wish I had checked trust pilot before I ordered from them. I order things online all the time and this is by far the very worst experience I have ever had, don’t know how they can get away with it!

Paid £399.00 for 2 swegways, one received . Seems to be a common theme reading the reviews . No one answers phone , or number no longer exists . Emails bounce back . Glossy website , but total fraudsters . Do not buy from them !!!!!

I complained before christmas as I placed an order for swegway from swegway UK and needed to contact them as the address was wrong. since the 17th December no one has returned my calls or emails. Infact the telephone numbers have changed on the website and are now disconnected. I received a tracking number for UK mail which was not a UK mail tracking number. After Christmas 2 Swegways arrived through yodel when I only ordered 1. But with no kart which was part of the bundle. I want to return them as I ordered them from elsewhere due to not being able to contact them, but no one is emailing me back and the phonelines are dead. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Live chat is a sham and does not work either. I think they must have closed or are in the process of liquidating. I want a refund but no one is responding. Dont be reeled in by the glossy website saying they are a trusted supplier. So shocked and dissapointed.

I would give this company no stars if I could. Not even a company. They are scam artists. Uncontactable by phone - they have three different numbers on their website!
I cannot believe we didn’t check the reviews before ordering. We emailed to cancel our order to which we got a reply to say they were sorry for the delaying in dispatching. We received a faulty Chinese fake swegway that does not charge. Currently going through the credit card company to get our money back.
I’ve spoken to another company who have told me that they have previously investigated them and found they have no head office in Sheffield and that they used their phone number on their web page!
I will be reporting to ombudsman and fraud team.

Purchased 2 x Segway’s at £199. Received 1 but not the other. Not much good as both my girls are expecting these for Christmas. Spoke to Ryan twice this week after calling what must have been over 100 times, firstly was promised next day. Didn’t happen, then when I got hold of him again he put me on hold and was never heard of again. Avoid at all costs.

Look at the reviews. They are all the same. So how can people give them 5 stars???
