Faulty sensor

This was our son's birthday present and after he had ridden it for short periods over 5 days it needed to be sent back for repairs. Also arrived without instructions and we were unable to activate the bluetooth and when FINALLY the instructions arrived they still do not advise how too set the pro mode.

Unorganised

I ordered a green one on Tuesday and on Friday I got a call to say that they had no green in stock. Seen as my little boys birthday was the following Thursday and he specifically wanted a green one this was not ideal. Why was I allowed to purchase one of they were out of stock?

Anyway, I said we would take a gold one if they gave me 10% off and they said this would be okay and that I would get a ring back to confirm it.

No ring back came and on Monday I called them to see why was happening. They said that I couldn't get 10% off but that they would send it out next day delivery. I reluctantly accepted as my kids birthday was now so close.

I got an email confirming that the item had been shipped but it never came the next day. I called ups who told me that it was standard rate and that it wasn't next day delivery.

i checked today and they still have green labelled as in stock so anyone who orders a green one is getting a call to say they can have it in another colour.

I recommend going to another vendor.

Incredibly poor communication and poor customer service

Could not deliver in time scale
chose three day delivery and on day of delivery I had to email to find out where my order was
Very poor response from them
Emailed again asking for my delivery charge back
Got a phone call the following day saying they made a mistake and refunded the whole amount back had to redo the order only to be told that the item I wanted would not be available for another week
The item was still on there website in stock and available for next day delivery
Talk about miss leading customers
Needless to say I will be informing trading standards
Very disappointing Experiance probably the worst I have ever had online

Not the right colour

I am really dissapointed. I have ordered red colour for my hoverboard, and they didn't have. After I ordered black and they said they have and after 2 days that they didn't have it. Finally I received gold after weeks of waiting.
Not satisfied at all!!!

Customer service has a long way to go

Where to start. Ordered one for my daughter. It arrived faulty and was returned. It worked for a week and I thought, splendid, I'll get one for my son. After ordering my sons one, and paying extra for a 3 day delivery for an item that was " in stock" Two weeks later still no sign.
But back to the first one ordered. After a week of working the whole wheel/ axle assembly came loose. Contacted the shop as the 0800 number didn't work, was told to pay £20 for a courier to uplift, paid it next day and was assured that a pick up label would be emailed. Still waiting four days later
Tried to phone the 0800 number ( still not working) sent an email ( no reply )
So, the upshot is. Paid the guts of £800 for two swegway. One worked for 6 days in the 3.5 weeks we've owned it and now nobody will answer mails/calls etc
The other has still not been delivered after two weeks
Avoid buying unless you are prepared to " write off " the cost

swegway bluetooth hoverboard

Customer service excellent. Board despatched on time. Free bag to carry hoverboard albeit its very heavy!

Son happy. So pleased that I was able to order a hoverboard from a reputable UK company.

Swegway 8inch pro

Ordered and paid for next day delivery to then be called later that day and told no next day delivery and I would be refunded my delivery charge which I did asked on the phone if the board came with a remote and bag and was garunteed it did when it arrived had none of these so called only to be told that it doesn't and If I want a bag I needed to buy it separately which I have no problem in doing so but had they had previously told me I'd have bought it at time of purchase and also this model dosent have a remote no real apologies for the lack of knowledge of their staff and one disappointed birthday boy
