Poor shipping and handling

The Sixthreezero EVRYjourney hybrid electric tricycle I purchased through Urban E Bikes in early November 2021 arrived in mid-March 2022. I understood the reason for the delay, and was ok with it. Throughout the process, Chris at Urban E Bikes was pleasant and very responsive to all of my questions. Unfortunately, the tricycle arrived scratched and chipped. This seemed to be the result of poor packing (I assume in China) and handling by FedEx. I sent photos to Urban E Bikes of some of the scratches and chips on the tricycle, as well as photos of the container in which it was packed. Parts of the tricycle were sticking out of the container, and the box had multiple holes which looked to have been taped over. It was shocking to see how poorly a $2,000+ tricycle had been packed. The local bike shop who assembled the bike said it was functional despite all of the cosmetic damage. Urban E Bikes responded quickly to my complaint and photos, and offered to replace the tricycle. However, given what I assumed would be another lengthy delivery process, and that I'd already spent $225 to have the tricycle assembled by the local bike shop; it made little sense to do that all over again, not to mention having to pay again for assembly of the new tricycle. The bike shop said there were multiple parts, and it was not a simple assembly process. Urban E Bikes offered a small refund. By this time, my excitement for getting this tricycle had waned and I thought it was futile to continue, so I accepted a refund and they issued a credit on my credit card. I have yet to ride the tricycle as the weather turned nasty; and I want to wait until the weather and road conditions are more favorable. So, I can't yet comment on how the tricycle operates. But, I am really disappointed with the lack of detailed information on how to operate this hybrid electric tricycle. The accompanying literature was mostly flashy booklets from Sixthreezero showing photos of people on bikes, and scenery and cute sayings-- but only one piece of paper with operating instructions on the tricycle gages, but nothing about the battery or how to care for it. Riding an electric bike is not like riding a regular bike, and I would have expected far more detail on how to safely operate it. The bike shop person who assembled the tricycle warned me never to leave the battery on charge overnight or for a long time, as it could overheat. One would think this would be stated in the some of the literature that came with the tricycle. The font they used on the instruction sheet is so small I needed to get a magnifying glass to read it. And the information was obviously written by a non-English speaker. All of the above is not a criticism of Urban E Bikes, but rather of Sixthreezero.

Love our ebike….dealing with urban…

Love our ebike….dealing with urban ebikes has been a great experience…delivery of bike was great…the bike was perfectly packaged and ready to go after it was unpackaged!...customer service has been really responsive and helpful! I had quite a few questions and Chris was amazing and answered all of them in a very timely manner! Would order another bike from this company in a heartbeat!

My son loves the Cheetah Ebike

My son loves the Cheetah Ebike. It performs as many before me have said. It is truly a fabulous bike! Easy to put together and comes with everything needed. Kris was fantastic to deal with and stood behind his product.

Urban E Bikes gave me a part of my life back.

This is an awesome trike. I love it. Last year after being intibated for the whole month of August, I woke up with a completely paralyzed left hand. I could not do most things I really enjoyed including riding my bicycle. So I looked into a trike and came across this website. I contacted them and explained my situation to them about not being able to use left hand and asked for a right handed throttle. Kris looked into this for me and sent a list of right handed throttle electric trikes for me to consider. I chose the one I thought I could most afford. It came to me within just a few days already assembled and ready to go. If it were not for freezing weather I’d be out riding every day. Than you Urban E Bikes you are awesome!

Great assortment

I'm fond of riding a bike and actually I can't go somewhere without taking my bike with me. In my opinion, active sports are the best creation ever existed. I believe that people must do active sports in order to stay healthy and never have problems with their health. However, recently my favorite bike has broken and I have decided to seek for a new one. I chose this company, becuase I liked the assortment here. Managers explained me all the details and sent me a bike. It has come within a week and now I'm the happiest man on the earth again.

NO RESPONSE OR BIKE

I ordered a Cruzer from a company called Urban E. I finally received the bike and is was in fair condition, the instructions to put it together could have been easier and had a better explanation. I have ridden the bike and ii is easy to handle and comfortable. I have had both knees replaced and mounting it is much easier than other bikes. I think in the long run it will serve me well.

Delivery a problem.

Hi. Trike looks great. I have yet to try it. Can’t wait to try it😊. My difficulty was with the delivery. No one helped me get trike out of the box, package or off the pallet. Physical limitations on my part leaves it impossible to do by my self. Driver refused to remove from pallet and packaging. I wasn’t even sure if trike worked. Trike looks great. My daughter who lives a bit away from me will help. I’m disappointed with delivery.

Putting together is a nightmare

The trike is great. I haven’t had a chance to ride it much. But it is very pretty. I might have given you 5 stars but putting it together was a nightmare. The instructions might have well been nonexistent. You need to hire someone who knows how to write an instruction manual. Especially putting the brakes on. My husband tested it and he couldn’t stop. Since we live on a very steep grade not having brakes is a real problem. We are lucky he didn’t get hurt worse than he did. We watched every YouTube video we could find on it. Some were ok and some not much help. Please upgrade your manual.

Urban E bikes has been responsive throughout the purchasing experience. My only disappointment was with Euronau not always providing accurate shipping information. They provided at least one shipping date that was based more on speculation than actual circumstances!

Great bike, this thing is a beast!

I'd been researching/looking for the right mountain bike for a few months when I came across the FAT-HS. It checked all the boxes from flexibility to performance. But before I was going to shell out my hard earned money, I had a few questions. I placed a call to Urban E Bikes and Chris picked up the phone right away (a great sign), I proceeded to pepper him with questions which he patiently answered, and explained the pros/cons of the answers.

I placed the order in mid-May with an anticipated arrival of mid-June. Chris did well at providing periodic status reports, but I am sure some people were frustrated with the long delays. Thanks to COVID every supply-chain is backed up and that is no fault of Urban E Bikes. The bike finally arrived in late August and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. It has a well built, strong, solid feel...I think I could climb a house with this bike!

In summary, this is a great bike and Urban E Bikes did a great job for me. I would definitely recommend!

I am the type of person that when I…

I am the type of person that when I don’t has nothing nice to say I say nothing at all. But this needs to be said Chris CEO of urban E bikes Is not a very honest man. I’ve left over 15 messages and he’s gotten back to me one time I sent over 20 emails and he takes several days to get back to Tumi if he gets back to me at all then he chooses and picks which one of the emails he’s gonna response to he doesn’t address all the issues that I’m having with the E bike that I purchased from him and he doesn’t seem to care that I spent $2100 and I still haven’t enjoyed my bike yet I’ve been asking for an RMA for two weeks now and he has yet to send me the necessary paperwork. He’s Poor excuse for a businessman. And I will never ever buy anything from the store again and I will highly publicized how badly he does business
