Potentially duped
1. On their website they claim that their batteries contain internal Samsung cells. This is the main reason I bought it instead of from some vendor on Amazon - unfortunetely there is no manufacturer name on the base, just that it was manufactured in China. Don't want to open it in case it blows up as thats what I am expecting. This is why I believe I was duped/conned, because if its got Samsung Batteries it will most definetely say so or at the very least have a manufacturer or model number. Its just a generic china thing. All I can see on the box is a reference to an ebay website, Apex CE Specalists in London and importer: Huizhou Rong Hui Technology Co. Ltd.
2. On Max mode it cuts out after a couple of seconds. I believe the battery overheats meaning the quality of the batteries are poor.
3. Its difficult to remove the power charging cable
4.The post filter came without the attachment for it so I had to buy an additional kit from amazon, my fault for not checking, but weird to not to mention on product display page.
Hopefully Trustpilot won't remove this review, as a bit strange that there are so many postive reviews. I have a big feeling this is just a smart dropshipper selling cheap products for a premium (double amazon) and thats not right.

Hi Graham nobody has been duped thats a very serious & unfair thing to say ? . This is strangely the first time we have ever heard of your problem . why have you not just simply used the contact form to speak to one of our dyson engineers for basic technical help ? . if you are unhaappy with anything surely the sensible thing to do would be to ask for a refund or replacement which can be easily arranged . there are also many reasons & causes for the fault that you describe none of which are a battery fault .. The reason we have so many excellent reviews is because our products and customer after care is exceptional .
i suggest you follow standard protocol and simply contact the office for a refund its very simple .....

Dyson vacuum battery Longer run time
We purchased a Dyson Longer run time battery for our cordless vacuum cleaner works brilliantly almost 3 months later still does the entire house and still has more charge left . Seems to have much more power than original we also bought new filters aswell . Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I jumped the gun when my Vax Animal…
I jumped the gun when my Vax Animal stopped working and ordered a battery & charger. When it still wouldn't go for more than a few seconds Vac Spares suggested I send the whole unit plus new battery and charger back to them. In consequence the motor was at fault and I was directed to a new supplier for the motor as they did not have one in stock. My old unit plus new battery and charger was sent back with no cost for the delivery or diagnosis and a new filter was given free. I wanted to keep the new battery and charger as I am sure they would have expired at some point Excellent service.

longer run time battery
We Purchased a dyson V8 battery for our dyson cordless vacuum cleaner about 4 months ago the battery is excellent we purchased the longer run time version which gives us much more vacuum run time than the old battery.
Delivered quickly within a couple of days
Very impressed would recommend.

So far so good
So far so good. Replacement battery for a Dyson vacuum cleaner fitted perfectly, charges and works well. Half the price of the branded version but seems to be just as good. Time will tell. Ordered and delivered easily and quickly.

new battery for dyson 6
I ordered a new battery for dyson 6. Very fast delivery but unfortunately new battery works for only about 15 min. Its shorter than my old one. Very sad

You must have accidentally activated MAX mode when fitting the battery just select normal mode and it will run for 30 minutes.
Just contact our dyson engineers via email or the contact form and they will guide you through the correct settings and how to change them correctly.
