Recently had a breast Reduction with Macs Clinic. Was fed up of back aches being a 34k. Treatment Wasn’t available on the NHS despite the fact that I was seeing a physiotherapist and constantly on pain medication. Now in the mean time I had been seeing Dr Vadodaria but didn’t have the finances at that time, I think I visited him a couple of times on free consultation over a couple of years. But he was patient with me and informed me that it was a major surgery and I should take time to think and not rush. When I was ready mentally and financially and fed up of the back aches - Appointments were promptly arranged for my surgery. Post op follow ups were great, I never felt like I had to go through recovery on my own. All emergencies for catered for. I am now a 34dd, still recovering but happy with the results 5 weeks later. 😊

The first appointment I attended at Macs was very good. The doctor was very realistic and explained in great detail what the procedure was and what I should expect afterwards. I subsequently had a couple of other appointments on zoom which were of similar quality.

After these appointments I decided to proceed with Macs. My procedure was in early May. I was asked to attend at 08:30 for an appointment at 09:00 however it was not until 12:30 that the surgery took place. In this time I had waited for 3 other people to go into their procedure and leave the practise. This made me feel incredibly stressed and frustrated as very little was communicated from the team. Throughout the 3.5 hour waiting time I was having to consistently ask for updates with very information being provided.

Whilst in the surgery, the nurses were very comforting and considerate. They put my mind at rest, were all very professional and appeared to be very experienced. The surgeon also appeared to be competent during the procedure. After the procedure it was mentioned that the surgeon thought I would be difficult, which after such a long wait, I thought was inappropriate and unprofessional.

After the appointment I went to have the head bandage removed. The only time that the doctor could make within the week was on working day. My employer agreed to an extended lunch to allow me to do this. I was in the waiting room for over an hour after the appointment time which led me to be stressed about my employers reaction. Upon seeing the doctor he mentioned that he had been on a podcast and that my appointment should have been rearranged.

The aftercare which I received was non existent. I was asked to go to Watford for an appointment (again in the middle of the working week). Based on my previous waiting times I did not want to do this. When I asked for a virtual invite for 2pm on a certain date a zoom meeting invite was not provided. When I sent an email to the clinic to ask what had happened I was called at 7pm on the day to have a conversation. At that point I realised how far down their priority list my aftercare was and decided not to participate further.

Although I am reasonably pleased with the outcome of the procedure anybody looking to go with Macs should know that the organisation of this practise is ridiculous. You will be waiting around for hours for appointments and the procedure itself.

I have had gynecomastia since my teenage years, being too ashamed to take off my shirt going swimming or wearing anything remotely well-fitting. Due to the lack of awareness, I found it difficult to get my parents to understand that this was a genuine condition. I even lost 3.5 stone to try and get rid of the problem but nothing worked. Now in my mid twenties, I decided to have a consultation with Dr Vadodaria regarding my condition. He was neither dismissive of my concerns nor encouraging to go for a procedure; he checked to confirm the gynecomastia and thoroughly outlined the process if I were to go ahead & the options for treatment. This allowed me to reach a decision, with all the facts at hand, at my own pace, without any undue pressure - which is important when undergoing any kind of cosmetic surgery. We had several appointments before I made a decision to allow me to make sure that the surgery was what I wanted.

Having now had the surgery, the results are life-changing. I immediately wanted to go shopping for new clothes and already dreaming of a beach holiday. My only regret is not having the procedure done sooner. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, Dr Vadodaria's wealth of expertise made me feel safe and that I was in capable hands. His team were so caring and his secretaries Julia & Merlyn kept me well informed at all times. If you are thinking about gynecomastia surgery, I would highly recommend MACS clinic - now I can truly see why Dr Vadodaria has got the reputation as one of the leading cosmetic surgeons in the UK!

It's been 2 months so far since I had the gyno surgery. Have to say the process went very well, and I barely felt the pain. All bruising and swelling just went away. I can't describe how satisfied I am with the result. As for the surgery procedure, Dr. Vadodaria is really professional and he gave me all the details I should know. The team is very nice & patient and always give you a good care (The nurses even played my favorite music for me during the procedure to make me less nervous). Regretting having done the surgery for the rest of my life. It almost swallowed all my savings. Nothing could be done now than living with it in silence.

I made the best decision to choose MACS clinic for my Dimpleplasty procedure. All the staff at the clinic were extremely friendly, caring and approachable. They communicated really well with me and made me feel valued. Mr Vadadoria was caring, attentive and also very informative. He went above and beyond before the procedure, on the procedure day and also in the after care. You can really tell this is a family run clinic. I felt comfortable and at ease during the whole experience. I would undoubtedly recommend MACs clinic and i will guarantee that if you choose this clinic for your procedure you will not be disappointed.

The staff, especially the theatre staff are so kind and caring and are there with you every step of the way before,during and after your treatment.

There is no pressure to have surgery and no false advertising or gimmicks.
The clinic is clean,comfortable and relaxing and the staff treat you like part of their team.
They are always helpful and offer constant feedback and reassurance from the moment you step into the clinic to when you are discharged and beyond.

I have had procedure at the Macs clinic and I highly recommend Dr Vadodaria and his helpful staff. From the first consultation to the actual surgery that was performed under local anaesthetic, I felt reassured and was always informed what was happening.
The theatre nurses were so kind and comforting.
Dr Vadodaria explained all the intricacies of what the surgical procedure would entail and always asks if you have any questions.
He explained fully how long the healing process would take and what the desired outcome would be.
The staff are always a phone call away if you need anything.

I am a surgeon and the good doctor was recommended to me by a mutual colleague. From the first interaction it was apparent Mr. Vadadoria is a cut above the rest - pun intended. Setting up the appointment was effortless, his executive assistant, Julia, is an utter delight and whisked me through registration. The office is comfortable and serene. My interaction with Mr. Vadadoria was superb - I know my medicine and it is clear that he is immensely well-educated and experienced. He is also kind and gentle and the fact that he dedicates time to philanthropic work overseas also impressed me. I was in the office when the prior patient went in and out of the consultation room and it was apparent that I did not get special treatment as a doctor because this person was also given lots of time and came out happy and expressing his gratitude. I have no qualms in highly recommending this lovely and kind man to anyone needing a consultation and surgery.

This place is dodgy and untrustworthy. All they try to do is making money, they don’t care about the patient, they are unprofessional and unethical, all they know is fearmongering. I am really disappointed at this place. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Search the doctor’s name before book a consultation, result: a women died from rare flesh-eating bug after this Brazilian 'bum lift' done by this doctor .

They misled me and lied about their policy. Before I booked the appointment and paid the deposit , both the doctor and the front desk staff told me the deposit is refundable, but when I tried to claim the deposit, they showed me the contract which says it’s non-refundable.

When I ask for a refund they did not respond . They replied really quickly when I paid the deposit.

What’s disgusted me is, they said the consultations are free, but they are not. They use it as an excuse for not returning deposit. And they said the x-ray is covered in the bill, but they send me an invoice later.

And their way of getting client is disgusting. The doctor refused to discuss the result of my x-ray over the phone, he insisted I must visit the clinic. Which I checked with the x-ray center, they said it’s unusual. because of the pandemic, a lot of people actually prefer phone/video discussion over visiting the clinic, and it is completely doable.

Not to mention some chaos over client management. But it’s not the biggest issue.

I recently had gynecomastia surgery at MACS Cosmetic Clinic in Watford with Dr Vadodaria. All i can I say from start to finish, they were professional and made me feel very welcome and at ease. From the moment I walked through the door, Dr vadodaria went through the process and what was to come with the operation and prepping for it etc which eased all the worries I had before! This is a family run business and they made me feel like one of their own! I can’t thank them enough and I couldn’t have picked a better clinic or surgeon for this process! So thank you dr vadodaria youre a gentleman of a man!! And I would like to thank all the nurses in theatre that looked after me and made me laugh I can’t thank you enough!!

My journey with MACS clinic started with a video consultation which was very helpful and answered some key questions before I made the long journey to see Mr Vadodaria in person. Even from the first meeting I felt relaxed as the experience and professionalism shone through. Very knowledgable, relaxing and also made sure that I had realistic expectations of before and the results after surgery. I just had the Otoplasty procedure at MACS clinic in Watford and am overall happy with the results and experience! From the initial consultation through to surgery, I felt comfortable and looked after. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The surgery itself was painless under local anaesthetic and the procedure went smoothly. Mr Vadodaria was reassuring and happy to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone interested in ear correction surgery.

A fraction of the price compared to the rest but twice the amount of service!! This clinic has been amazing for me!! I’ve been looking to have gynecomastia surgery since I was about 15 now being 22 I found the place that was right for me!

From the beginning interest was shown in why I wanted it done and how long I’ve felt that I needed it done.

I was offered video consultations to fit in with my schedule of work and then being open on a Saturday was so convenient for me also!!

The staff are all lovely and are very polite and friendly! Any messages or questions asked where replied to promptly regardless of the time of day which I thought showed beyond exceptional care for patients!

Dr Vadodaria was extremely helpful and informative about the procedure and the expectations and costs and always made me feel very welcomed in his practice and made me feel prioritised above all else.

The operation was only an hour or so long and I was home the same day! It’s the first time I’ve seen the results a week later due to bandaging and I couldn’t be happier!! There is still some discomfort but that’s to be expected! However it’s healed very nicely! The procedure itself was under local anaesthetic and I won’t lie the initial injection hurts but then again when doesn’t a needle hurt! After that however you barely notice a thing! It’s a life changing result and I would highly recommend this clinic if you are looking to have a procedure done!

A huge difference that made this clinic an easy choice was the price, the service and also the fact you can contact previous patients to get real input from people who have gone through the same things as you have and can give honest feedback about it all!

The MACS clinic provided a top quality service from booking and information to procedure and aftercare. Mr Vadodaria Shailesh is very experienced and knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease. The nurses assiting during the surgery were also lovely and comforting. Not a bad word ro say. Will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone at MACS clinic!!
