Prompt delivery, customer service and communication
Really impressed with prompt delivery and the customer service received by Richard when contacting about an issue.
Fantastic family company
I’ve bought 2 tents from these guys.
I happened to bend one of the poles on my recent camp and emailed the company to enquire if they stocked spare poles for the tent in question.
Got a notification of an item dispatched to me from the company, so checked my emails to find that Jim is sending me a whole new poles set FREE OF CHARGE, yes you heard it FREE OF CHARGE.
How amazing is that? This company will be my go to for definite.
Thank you so much
Another Purchase
Been buying for a few years now and as always an excellent service
Good gear for long distance hikes
I purchased some gear during the Black Friday sale for my upcoming thru-hike. They are one of the few, if not the only, site that sells decent ultralight gear at reasonable prices in the UK. With more lines incoming I look forward to continuing to shop here.
Consistent and reliable
Good stuff. They’re not always the cheapest but still competitive, whilst being consistent and reliable.

A great company who care about their customers for real
I think that the genuine enthusiasm and real love the company has, in providing a great service for the people who invest their hard earned savings to acquire great equipment is 2nd to None!
I wrote an email about a new tent, I would very much like to buy. It was on one of the Andrew Park videos on YouTube. The tent is by a company called PreTents and the actual tent is called the Border.
After a great preview of the tent, Andrew was explaining how hard it was to acquire it.
I just knew, this is going to be my new tent, God knows how many I have already if you know what I mean?
I sent an email to Valley and Peak to enquire.
Within a short period of time; Jim, from Valley and Peak replied that he was in talks currently with PreTents to get some of the tents of which, I so much wanted. He was unsure of the availability or how much time it would take, but I was really impressed by his response.
